Couldn 't use the the card reader at the pumped - out of service. Went it and discovered I couldn't pay by either cash or credit card. Leaving what? Payment by gummy bears? The interior shop shelves were largely bare and the clerk was pissed off and pissy. Hopefully all this is a sign that the business will soon turn over to new owners. In the meantime - find another place to buy your gasoline! It's expensive enough without the grumpy attitude and extreme hassle here.

So moved to the next pump over and same issue. Come to find out after 15 minutes the Apple Pay is not working even though there is no sign stating that. I then wrote a message that went unanswered as well. I ended up having to call my credit card company to force a refund out of them, which worked. But it shouldn't have come to that. I'm sharing the blame with Shell because they partnered up with these crooks on purpose (throughout several Bay Area stations), and because their customer service was equally unresponsive.
