Best Priced gas in area, and you get an ocean view. Always is lower than most other locations around

I agree with the sentiment of the previous post. I never thought that I would have to write a post…read moreabout a gas station, but this is absolutely the worst gas station that exist in the city of El Segundo, the county of Los Angeles, possibly the state of California and the United States of America. I've never been to a place where I had to wait five minutes for somebody to come out from behind the back because the pump wasn't working for me to use my card to pay for gas and when the person finally does come out, they don't even speak. They literally just look at you like you're crazy until you tell them what you want and when you say, thank you have a nice day. They say nothing but walk away and go back into the back. Either that place is such a shitty place to work for, that the employee is miserable, Or the employee is just a miserable fuck and needs to find another job because customer service is not his strong suit. I was filling up my expedition, which was well over $100 when I realized fuck that I'm not giving this place my money and I asked for a full refund. I love an opportunity to speak to the general manager as a person that has worked in customer service most of my life and currently runs in organization Built on customer service. This was the absolute worst experience ever! Avoid this place like the plague.

With gas prices so high no thanks to the Orange Clown, Costco is the best place to purchase gas at…read morethe lowest of the high gas prices. Fortunately this location is on the way back from my gym, so it's very convenient for me to gas up here. It's best to come here in the mornings, since later in the day it can get pretty busy. They did add a few more gas pumps over the past couple of years, so there's rarely a long line of cars in the morning. And sometimes you can pull right up to a pump if you're lucky and time it right. The pumps and stations are nicely maintained and clean. You need a Costco membership to gas up here, which is a plus for members.

This Costco Gas faces a formidable circulation challenge: a large warehouse serving multiple nearby…read moreneighborhoods, several parking-lot entrances, freeway-adjacent traffic, dealership traffic across the street, and the dense vehicle-and-pedestrian movement endemic to Costco warehouse lots. The greater surprise is the degree of coherence ultimately imposed on the site. The current arrangement imposes order where the layout once invited confusion. Metal crowd-control barricades now guide drivers into a defined serpentine approach, preventing the gas line from dissolving into scattered parking-lot traffic. The arrangement has an almost comic resemblance to a Disney queue, except the payoff is not a ride but gasoline priced low enough to justify the procession. The barricade-guided queue improves the customer experience in concrete ways. Entry is clearer, the waiting line feels more orderly, and ordinary parking traffic no longer clashes as aggressively with cars trying to reach the pumps. Sacrificing a few parking spaces for a dedicated queue was the correct tradeoff; the lot is expansive enough to absorb the concession, and the station gains far more in clarity than it yields in parking capacity. Timing remains consequential at a location this busy. Weekday mornings offer the most fluid experience. Late Sunday afternoons are markedly less hospitable, and afternoons before long weekends are best avoided. Used with that timing in mind, this is one of the most effectively organized Costco Gas locations: still busy, still unmistakably Costco, but transformed by pragmatic queue design into a station that feels far easier to use than its location should allow.

I didn't really think of what I would do to use a restroom on a long drive during these times. I stopped off at your gas station and I decided to grab a coffee as well - Your employee, Jonathan, was so sweet and followed all the rules for applying gloves and his mask. In addition, he was super sweet. You are lucky to have such an amazing human working for your business during this time.

I had barely touched the door at all, and upon seeing it was locked I walked to the window where the employee was on his phone. I asked if I could make the purchase through the window or if they were fully closed. He rudely showed me his index finger as if signaling to wait a minute. I sit in front of the window for about 10 minutes as he stands there chatting on his phone while I wait, cash and ID in hand. Even a small line forms behind me of people waiting to purchase gas or other goods. The employee just shows everyone his index finger as if to say "wait a minute" while he continues to talk on his cell phone. All of a sudden, a police car pulls into the gas station and the officer approaches me. I ask her how her day is going and the employee runs out and immediately accuses me of attempted burglary on the store!!! Excuse me?!! Who attempts to burgle a store with cash in one hand and an ID in the other hand while waiting patiently in front of the window?? Even the officer is pretty confused by this situation and I demand that she be shown the security footage to prove the employee was lying. The employee stutters out excuse after excuse, and the policewoman seems to realize the situation and tells me just to go to 711 down the block. Now, not a single one of my white friends have ever been accosted in this way by this gas station, but somehow the one time I go there in years, with my fairly brown skin, the cops get called while I patiently wait? This is a racist establishment and does not represent the values we Manhattan Beach locals embody. Chevron should be ashamed for allowing someone like that to work in their establishment, and neither myself nor my family/friends will ever use this chevron again.
