What is surprising is that at Torrance Costco, the gas is $5.19 regular and $5.69 premium. These prices are reflected in the app in real time. Since our vehicles use premium, the Hawthorne location has been consistently lower so far for us.

Hawthorne is located right off the 405 Rosecrans exit going west. The price is better and you can get right back on the 405 south from the signal at the Costco exit. With hours until 10 PM during the week, there's little to no waiting in line to fill up. This is a no brainer for anyone in the South Bay living fairly close to the 405, 110, or 105. Since they always have staff working during business hours, it's a lot safer than a lot of gas stations in Gardena, Lawndale, Hawthorne or nearby areas at night. No people harassing you for spare change or trying to pump gas for you. Credit and membership only eliminates many problems. Plug the gas is Top Tier (high quality like major refineries). $4.69 for regular as of 7/3/26.
