They have a Sunday Brunch Buffet that has everything on their menu and it's definitely worth a try from 8:00-1:00, Adult is $19.99 & Kids $7.99 This restaurant has a festive look even before you walk in. Inside the party continues and has lots of seating and can accommodate large parties. I went for the Sunday Buffet and wasn't disappointed. The staff were very friendly and kept coming back to refresh my coffee and drinks. Definitely give 7 Leguas a try but come hungry as there's too many choices including custom: pancakes, crêpes, waffles, and omelettes. They also have lots of fresh fruit yogurt, and a chocolate fountain for strawberries to go along with everything else you could possibly want from a Mexican restaurant. read more

Food: delicious. Service: amazing. Ambiance: a hoot. Five stars. We'll be back. Frequently. read more

After several visits I've upped my rating to 4 stars. It's good Tex-Mex and the service is usually above and beyond. Casual dining, but not the most comfortable furniture. The bar is well stocked too. read more

This food is always tasty! We ordered the fajitas, charro beans, tacos, beef burrito, enchiladas and tamales! They give you a lot of food! My fajitas came out piping and sizzling! Service is excellent too! They refill your drink without you asking. I can hardly breathe right now because I'm that kind of full! It's a nice drive here in Conroe and the beach is right down the street so make a day of it! Come and get it! read more

Why 2 stars? Because there are just too many decent alternatives to come here. --- --- --- After 3+ years of living in Montgomery, we finally decided to try 7 Leguas. And I really do hate to write negative reviews, but there's just no way around this one. Every time I review a Tex Mex restaurant, I have to mention that the economics never cease to blow my mind. There are approximately 4 billion restaurants like this in the Greater Houston area. They all have the same menu and they are all of similar quality. Except, unfortunately, I just learned that 7 Leguas was not of similar quality with the rest. My go-to order is steak fajitas and that's what I went with here. Technically they were called ribeye fajitas on this particular menu. There was plenty of fat in these fajitas, so I do believe that they were indeed from a ribeye. The issue is that the meat was completely flavorless. It literally tasted like chewy water. It's not crazy to assume that they did not place one speck of salt on this meat before cooking it. The meat also just wasn't visually appealing at all and didn't come out smoking like fajitas usually do. Also, our server would disappear for 10+ minutes at a time, which was really frustrating. At one point, my in-laws ordered sopapillas, but then *poof* our server was gone. At one point, I had to go grab another server and just request the bill. They insisted that the sopapillas were about to come out, and then shortly after, our server re-appeared with them. Like everything else, they were a massive disappointment and tasted like they had been obviously reheated. I feel a little bad crushing the server because my wife thinks she heard him telling another table that he was brand new. So I do take that part of the experience with a grain of salt, but I will also say that even if you've never been a server a day in your life, you should know to not go into the back so long that your tables are asking if maybe you got fired or quit. Given the competition here with Tex-Mex restaurants, it's just impossible to justify coming to a place again that misses the mark so badly. This was one of the worst meals I've had in a long time. read more

Was so very many Mexican food restaurants to choose from one reason to definitely put this restaurant at the top of your list Is there Sunday buffet. I have everything from a crepe station to a chocolate fountain. They will make you an omelet to order, or you can have menudo. The staff are extremely professional and you never catch anybody just sitting around on their personal phone!! We have been going here for years and I can say that the food quality is better than it has been and the pricing has still remained very reasonable. Highly recommend! read more

Going to the new chilis in Willis for fajitas from now on, I'd never realized how good theirs are until recently and don't get me started on their meal deals it's cheaper that fast food! Anyway, like another reviewer stated the ribeye fajitas were flavorless very disappointed in that aspect, service was good and it was a nice atmosphere. We'll try enchiladas or something different next time! read more

The restaurant has a nice exterior, and we chose it for a relaxed afternoon meal. The service was good and the food was decent. Unfortunately, after we paid and left, a waitress came outside to question us about a missing receipt. We were asked to return inside to re-sign it, even though the waiter had already been at the table clearing it. It was embarrassing and unnecessary. We had been enjoying ourselves, but that interaction completely changed the tone of our visit. It's disappointing that what started as a pleasant experience ended on such a negative note. I will never recommend this place again. I am made we gave a tip when we re-signed it! read more

Great service, we got plenty of beverage and chips/salsa refills. The food came out quick and was piping hot. The portions are large but the prices are small. I got the chicken enchiladas with Mexican rice and beans and I cleaned my plate. We also got some of their queso to go (the queso is amazing). Food is consistent here interior is clean. Staff is very pleasant. Lots of parking available.

Chips and salsa needs improvement but The food was delicious! Stuffed full of chicken in every bite, seasoned to perfection! I wanted to try a margarita but since the Arnold Palmer was subpar (I sent it back) I decided not to chance it. The service was awesome! We were seated and order was taken really fast. The food came out within minutes. The dining area is decorated with umbrellas on the ceiling and they have several tv's. The patio looked really nice but I think it was closed. However I did sneak a peek. read more

Go before 6pm and benefit from their Happy Hour! Margaritas and beer on the cheap! I went for lunch and was impressed with the lunch menu. The prices were very fair considering the inflation factor. The enchiladas were just as they should be, TEX Mex style with chili gravy and the right cheese (not Velvetta) Hugo was a great waiter! And they loved on our dog, even brought him water. oh read more

I actually want give them 3.5 stars. I have had better Mexican food, but the food here was tasty. This is one of the most affordable Mexican Buffets I have ever been too. All that food for $16.99. The food was fresh and there were many options. The star of the show was the MENUDO!! You are able to add hominy corn, onion, cilantro, and jalapeño. The street tacos were also a fave. I washed down my food with a mango margarita They also had American fare as well. If this place were in Houston, I would go back often. The staff was kind and brought items out quickly when asked. Outside they have a patio that overlooks the lake. Perfect setting for a beautiful day. read more

Good authentic Mexican food. Big menu and great service. Plenty of staff and they keep the chips and salsa filled. Make sure when you go to ask for Nancy the Mgr and say hello. She is very friendly, not afraid to say hi and talk to customers and I have even seen her carrying food to tables and helping her staff. I ordered the Los Primos Carnita and it was excellent, the rest of the table ordered fajitas and margaritas Excellent food at good prices and staff If awesome... I had the $18.99 meal with chicken and beef fajitas and chili relleno. the chili rellano was totally soggy, like soup. There were a couple bites of steak that were chewable, but I left most of it. I was given two tortillas. waiter never returned to the table so I made do. Needed drink refills and more napkins but no waiter. Food was moderate at best. not freshly made. So disappointing. This place used to be great. What happened? They also add a surcharge now. not sure what it's for. read more

We ate here for the first time and had a delicious meal. There is a happy hour until 6pm. We took advantage of that and enjoyed affordable margaritas. Red sauce comes out, but they also have green if requested. Luis was our waiter. He was in a good mood and joked with us. He was so good, I complemented his service to the manager on our way out. The atmosphere is cool looking, nicely decorated inside, the patio is ample and has lake views. Also, dogs are allowed! A big plus with us. I had a "Marinas" platter that had a cheese enchilada and carnitas. The amount of food was generous. This will be a place that we will return to , for certain. BONUS; free self-service soft serve ice cream on the way out. Perfect in the hot summer! read more

Like BBQ restaurants, Texas has the Tex-Mex Mexican restaurants. This is one of my least favorite. Food is not horrible, but it's not great either. Service and Ambiance are great (Montgomery has live entertainment), but if you want chips, queso and a margarita while listening to live entertainment....it's worth the stop. read more

My wife and I tried this restaurant on date night. We started with the Chunky Guacamole and some flavored Margaritas. The Guacamole was a star, chips could've been better. The salsa was spectacular. This place does NOT miss. As the self appointed Mexican food connoisseur, this is the best Mexican food around. Their sour cream enchiladas are delicious, their ceviche is great, so is the salsa and the queso. Their margs will have you callin an Uber home and the service is great too. Buffet on Sunday has a variety of food. Of course they have the free ice cream machine. The back patio is fun, the atmosphere is vibrant and on par with the theme. Overall I have 0 complaints about this place. Will update if I ever get one though! read more

I've been looking forward to trying this place since I moved here, and finally got the chance last night! Loved it. The ambience, service, and food were all excellent! Excellent service, food is great, quick and efficient, nice people. Overall amazing! One of my favorite Mexican restaurants.

Always really good and never disappoint. All the waiters and quick and food comes out in a timely manner.

Since moving to the area in August, I've eaten in a few times and ordered delivery through DoorDash a couple times also. They're always busy, but the waitstaff seems to accommodate this with ease. It helps that there's like a small team of other folks running around quietly doing refills of drinks and chips, salsa etc. This is not a complaint at all as I rarely appreciate a hovering waiter or waitress (sometimes if they are hilarious, this is acceptable IMO ), but during the bulk of the meal the waiter was at the POS putting orders in, at other tables or otherwise occupied. Somebody else brought the food out, but as if on queue the waiter was table-side simultaneously as the tray was placed to see if we needed anything and to distribute the plates. Now, if the waiter was in the dining room, on any of my previous visits, like in an auction, the slightest nearly imperceptible movement on my part or making eye contact and he was there immediately. If you are given the option, I strongly suggest you avoid paying your check at the front register. I often pay with my phone at restaurants. This is one of those situations where the waiter would need to walk my phone over to his POS And I would have to go too, because the payment app uses face recognition to unlock. I took one look where he was pointing for us to go, looked back at my five-year-old, and I saw the wild look in her eyes. Parents, you know the one... I couldn't risk her running into bustling waiters or asking some poor fellow at the table next to the POS why he has a cane or a face mole or why his hair is blue, etc. So I volunteered to pay at the front on the way out so the waiter could flip his table and because I honestly thought it would be super quick. I was barely acknowledged at the front and spent the next 20 minutes alternating between trying to get someone's attention waiting for her to get off a phone call, coralling a kid , been bop by people walking by The cashier kept taking phone orders, and maybe there was a shift change, but there were no fewer than five waiters up there huddled next to the cashier, settling up for the day and trying to get big bills to take in exchange for their small ones and doing the tip out etc. While they did this they talked about how much money they made or didn't make or who did better or why they did better or how many tables they had whatever. This was exhausting and frustrating. I always get the fajitas but I've tried a few different things. Everything is pretty good! I feel like they should give more tortillas with the fajitas from the start. I really dislike asking for more and waiting while the meat goes cold. But hey, I guess if I could remember next time, I'll ask for more from the jump when dining in. I ordered delivery through DoorDash a couple of days ago -of course it was delicious -but three paltry tortillas arrived to accompany a bounty of meat and fixings. Yes you can add more for added price. I'm just struggling with this because I wouldn't get charged if I were eating in. And...for some reason you can't order kids meals from here through DoorDash. An adult meal is just too much food and expense for my five-year-old. I hope if they read this, they will consider adding that to the available delivery menu, because if they did, I would order delivery WAY more often when I'm craving Mexican food but don't have time to eat in or just don't feel like chasing my daughter around the house for 10 minutes trying to get her shoes on her feet. read more

I was so disgusted with my experience eating at this place, For starters the server was dirty, had sweet and lwas not groomed. Next the place was dirty and amvieamce was loud. Finally when food arrived it was not good and presentation was like going to Taco Bell but with triple the price. Do not waste your money going here, this place went downhill fast. read more

This place was recommended for their cocktail specials. We did have a really good margarita, but... they put American cheese on their Mexican plates. Somebody please explain this? its not like they were out of the normal cheese used at every other mexican restaurant, not due to covid, nothing other than their own personal choice. And yes, it does change the way the food tastes, and I didn't like the meals with the American cheese. They do have other things which are good, but when you want a good enchilada, and you see its topped with American cheese, you can't help but be disappointed. I will say though, they do have a Sunday brunch buffet that we do like, its abit too expensive for what it is, but its a nice treat that everyone in this area seems to agree on. The brunch buffet is always busy, and has several options that we enjoy, including omelets and crepes. Sweet crepes, not savory, which is a shame, because I would love a nice savory crepe. So definitely I recommend, but don't say I didn't warn you about the American cheese and the price of the brunch buffet. (I think its 15.99 ) read more

Food was good, the chips and salsa had good flavor. Price is right too. We did have issues with our service around drink orders and asking additional items. We asked for queso on the side for one dish as the person ordering the dish didn't want the queso. Instead of bringing it to the table on the side we were charged for an additional queso. It's $8 for a side of queso and not something we would have bought as a side. Our waiter also had issues with a tonic and lime, first they tried to give us a ginger ale then a lime water, we sent it back and changed the order since it didn't seem anyone including the bartender knew what a tonic and lime was. It's cute inside but nothing new. P.S. stay away from the "ice cream" read more

We always enjoy 7 Leguas, especially sitting outside where there is usually a nice breeze. Salsa is warm and tasty. The salsa verde has a nice spice and chips are good. We've shared the appetizers as a meal, had fajitas and combination plates. All tasty and enough fajitas to take home. The staff is always friendly and available. One of the managers frequently stops by our table to chat and check on us. There are plenty of regulars there when we go, so maybe you would call us regulars too. Staff is never trying to hurry customers out. Thanks 7 Leguas! read more

Absolutely Horrific service! To start off with, there were about 7 waiters/waitresses gathered at the bar standing around talking. They looked at us as we walked in and nobody greeting us or budged from their position/conversation. I knew at this point it was going to be BAD.....oh and it was! Service was the absolute PITTS!!!! Food cold, chips thick and hard, rice/charro beans no flavor. Bad, bad, bad! The only thing I have heard this place has going for it, is their margaritas. They are suppose to be tasty and cheap. I guess if you are tipsy/drunk everything else does not matter......as for me, I do not drink and give this place a FAILING REVIEW!!!!
