I was recently back in town and made sure to stop in for a mocha and a relaxing break, just like old times. The service is great too Their mocha is still the best, and the cozy atmosphere is as welcoming as ever. I used to love pairing my coffee with a slice of cheesecake, so I was a little disappointed to find that they no longer serve it. Even so, the excellent coffee and comfortable setting keep me coming back whenever I'm in town. Lakeshore Coffee House remains a special place for me, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great cup of coffee and a cozy place to unwind. Five stars!

The gentleman who answered was friendly and invited me to stop in, which I did. I parked up front on LSB (Lakeshore Blvd) and entered a cozy, quaint, comfortable environment. While fancy wouldn't be a word to describe the aesthetic, it gives more in the sense of what matters; you'll be taken care of. I read the reviews and was ready to be fully blown out the park, but my experince was just okay. The young lady behind the counter had a sort of ho-hum attitude, and she "misheard" when I said I wanted my egg and cheese on a bagel. To be fair she offered to remake it and/or a discount, but I was on a schedule. My chai latte with almost milk was mainly milk, or the chai wasn't very strong. The sandwich was okay. I appreciate the nostalgic charm like the pay phone on the wall, the book nook, and the puzzles you can add to. They have tarot readings on certain nights and the bathroom was clean. I'm not on this side of town a lot, but it was a decent experience.

Of course I see a 4.8 rating and said, we're off to CouchLand (it sounds like I'm ready to take a nap, lol). My grandson and I pull up; its easy to spot as it sits to itself on Euclid. I took a moment to view the menu before entering and made my selections...or so I thought. My grandson woke up right on time, as if he knew he was getting a buttery croissant (which it was flaky, rich and tasty). We enter a quaint, rustic, nostalgic atmosphere. The baristas remind me of the movie theater workers from decades past with their bowties. They were informative, attentive, and friendly. I ordered the Apple Cider Chai, with a splash of almond milk (as suggested by the barista instead of a full on latte). I was also happy they had chicken sausage as an alternative to pork. Everything was prepared fresh and quick. I am full and both my grandson and I are satisfied. I would definitely stop back in when on this side of town.

It felt like I crept up on it after traveling down a windy country road for a little bit. The coffee shop is located on what reminded me of the Main Street in a small town center. There's a restaurant and the Gates Mills branch of the Cuyahoga County Public Library. It's adorable. The cuteness continued as I stepped inside the coffee shop. Addie's was bright with big windows that drew in the best sunlight. The space is small and felt super quaint. There are a few plants hanging from the ceilings and the walls are filled with adorable art from local artists. I was warmly greeted by what I believe is a husband and wife duo who own the spot. They have a nice list of fun specialty coffee drinks and a pasty corner. I came at the end of the day, so there were only a few muffins left. I got a thin mint cafe au lait and a snicker doodle muffin. Both were excellent! The coffee was perfectly balanced and the chocolate inside seemed like good quality. My muffin was absolutely delicious and the owner offered to warm it up for me a little bit. It had cream cheese inside which ended up being warm and gooey. I sat and did a little bit of work for about 45 minutes before they quit. A few people came in for a cup of coffee and it seemed like such a lovely neighborhood spot. These are the moments that make me really grateful to be a Yelper. It's so easy to go to the same spots you frequent or chains you're familiar with, but when you actively make a choice to go that 5 extra minutes maybe out of your way, you may find yourself stumbled upon the most amazing businesses that fuel and support your community.
