WARNING TO ALL PARENTS that have kids that go to Westborough Middle School. If your child goes to the Westborough Middle School, I implore you to make sure they are not ripped off by the staff working the registers. My son went to this 7/11 today to buy a (big) bag of Funyuns ($5.49) and a Slurpee ($1.99) his total $7.48. My son paid with a $20 bill. The guy behind the counter gave my son his change which consisted of a $5 dollar bill and around $4 dollars in quarters. What they were not aware of is that I was sitting in the car waiting for my son. I counted the change he was given. I noted he was short $3.50. I went into the store and asked the guy how much everything my son purchased cost and he told me his total was $7.48. I told him he had give my son back only nine dollars back. Mistakes happen. However, the clerk behind the counter had an odd smirk on his face and said "it was a mistake, I didn't have any singles." Which didn't make sense since he could have given him two $5s (when he opened the till I noted he had plenty of $5s) along with two dollars and change in quarters. When I tried to tell him this, he was combative and argumentative regarding not having singles, which lead me to feel that he was being dishonest. The clerk handed my son a $5 and a hand full of quarters with no receipt. The clerk banked on my son not knowing how much change he was getting or how much was due back to him. The clerk rushed off my son so that he could tend to the next customer not allowing him time to count the change. Nor did the clerk count the change back out to him, he just put it in his hand and waved him off. He also didn't bank on my sitting outside to help my son. Please tell your children to be careful. This is not the first incident we have had with this store, however, as I said mistakes happen. They just seem to happen more often when it is a child customer. read more

I've had several bad experiences with thi store. The kid that works there has very poor customer service and I have caught him on several occasions overpricing me. DO NOT GO TO THIS ONE !! It is the only place you can stop in at any time, get coffee and a fritter, lotto tickets, gum, or beer (ok not anytime, but you know what I mean) and hot dogs that you have no clue if they have been there an hour or a day and a hour....It's a great place kids! This one is always clean and stocked so I have no complaints. I would give this place -0 stars cause of the employees here. Most workers here have attitude problems and very mean: the Indian lady with long chin (medium built,I think her name is Neeta) and the very tall guy name Taran. The only employee that's sweet, nice, and polite here is the medium height young man (don't know his name). But both of the workers here Neeta and Taran always looks mad, rude, impolite, couldn't care about customer service and looks angry to be working there. Bad vibes and negative energy when your buying lotto tickets or Scratchers. I'm thinking these 7-Eleven store must be a franchised store. That's why these two act like they own the store and couldn't care less in being nice, polite and customer service friendly. read more

The trash outside was overflowing onto the ground. The inside had sticky floors and messy shelves. Whoa, this is the most janky chain establishment in South San Francisco. Milk for my kids $1.99 for a quart. Entering the dirtiest 7-Eleven ever, 2 stars. The reason this place received two stars was the comedy and laughter my wife and I experienced. My wife thought it was hilarious watching a bunch of people buying 40's, beer cases and alcohol on a Saturday night. Here I was buying milk for my kids, I'm so cool. The prices posted differ from prices when you get to the register. I was purchasing a bottle of wine with a sticker price of $13.99. The guy at the register rings it for $15.99. I told him it's wrong. He says the sticker price was old????? I left and didn't purchase the bottle of wine. It's not the price. It's the principle. This store doesn't honor their posted prices. Watch out. This is not my first experience. I won't be back. It's obvious they are pulling a fast one on patrons whom they hope won't notice they are being scammed. And one more thing, stop talking on the phone when you are working! read more

This spot is terrible. If you want to surf through a crowd of smelly and aggressive homeless people just to get inside then look no further your dream has arrived!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! Pretty standard 7-Eleven. Great for stopping at on your way over the hill to Pacifica. The memorable thing about this place is that this was once the only 7-11 I ever saw that carried bum wine. I ain't talkin' about Boone's--I'm referring to the rotgut that they discuss at http://www.bumwine.com Used to be that if you wanted fruit-flavored hooch that gave you a two-day hangover, you could come here. Grew up around this 7-Eleven since I was a kid. I've been here enough times to know the place is not somewhere worth giving your money to. Most other 7-Elevens feel comfortable enough to walk into, but definitely not this one. The location is close to a middle school so I feel they create a hostile environment to the younger customers. There is definitely a more mature way to handle kids who spend their money at your store. I once had a cashier walk down with me aisle by aisle just to see if my little brother and younger cousins would steal in an empty store. Are the cameras not enough? read more

I am not sure why this little 7-Eleven got some two and one-star reviews. The day I stopped by last week was my first visit. I found the store to be a standard convenience store, very much what one would expect from a 7-Eleven. I found the place clean, neat and everything in order. The shopkeeper at the checkout was courteous, polite and eager to chat and welcome customers. From what I gather there is more than one 7-Eleven store on Callan Blvd. Maybe the people who gave such poor reviews got this locale mixed up with the other one on Callan Blvd? read more

This is probably the worse place I've ever seen and wish there would be a higher source to get rid of this mockery of a convenience store. I walk in and everything is messy. Boxes everywhere, trash on the ground. It's as if the homeless set camp inside. The sour Indian man just stares at me because of my color and thinks I'm gonna steak which I would never. I go to the back and try to get a Dasani water. And I see a rat. A rat just runs up and runs away. I try to tell the worker there's a rat but he said no rat. This is ridiculous! I put the water down because only god knows where it's been. I hope this place is shutdown for everyone's sake. And the attitude of the poor workers is unbearable. Lottery Scam! 10-23-2018 BEWARE! Went to this location to purchase $10 Mega lottery ticket. Cashier printed the ticket and said I owed $30. Whoa! No way! I pointed to the lottery card I filled out and counted each play ... 2-4-6-8-10 ... $10. Cashier said I was paying for future plays. (They thought I was stupid.) I insisted I only wanted my one ticket - nothing to do with the future. After getting nowhere with the cashier, I asked to speak to the manager. Manager came out and said the same as the cashier. Then she said I filled it out wrong and I still had to pay the $30 because it was already printed. Well, there was no way I was going to do this and I even asked if they could print a correct version of my ticket. LOL Nope! Can't do that. I told her that I was not going to pay $30 and she looked behind me and shouted, "NEXT!" for the next customer. As I walked out of the store, I noticed that the manager slid my unpaid lottery ticket off the counter. I am ASSUMING they could be doing this to other customers and pocketing all those tickets that customers refuse to pay. read more

There's a poster displayed outside the window saying its buy one get one free but when they came back they said the guy told them they had to have the phone app so they paid for both. It was my first time buying nachos at this location and will be my last. I entered the store and picked up a lottery and some nachos. The pen had no ink, so I went up and asked for one. He was busy counting a pile of money on the side of the desk. No idea what he was doing, but saw him stashed a pile of money into his pocket afterwards (very suspicious!). Anyways, when I started to fill the chili in the nacho container, I filled 3/4 of chili. then onto the cheese but it ran out after a few pumps. I asked the worker if he could refill the cheese, he immediately gave me the stink eye and slowly walked over. He continued giving me the stare down, then opened the machine to adjust the cheese bag. He stared at my container filled with chili and I had no idea why. Afterwards, he slammed the machine door back in, which seemed like a lot of attitude problem to me. He then walked away so I continued to fill the cheese. He came back after 10 seconds and started yelling " you put too much chili!". I jumped in shock because of his sudden shouting. I was so confused because it was my first time getting nachos at this 7/11, and no where does it state how or how much I can put in the container. I assumed the container was used to be filled with dipping sauce which is what I usually do at other 7/11's. Surprise surprise!!!... Apparently, there is a invisible rule at this location stating you can only put nachos first in the container then put a tiny amount of chili and cheese. He continued to harass me about putting too much chili. I ignored him and added a bit of onions to my dip and he walked back to the cash register. Next thing I know, he started yelling AGAINNNN, saying " You cannot do that!" and shouted other things that I could not really understand due to his heavy Indian/ middle eastern accent. I continued to do my own thing and began to ignore his rude comments and walked out. He then began to yell, "next time you do this I charge $3 extra! Don't do it again!"... Trust me, I won't be going there anymore. I felt disrespected and being treated like a kid that just got caught eating a piece of candy from a store. It was very unnecessary to shout at a customer that had no idea there was an INVISIBLE rule that states how one must eat his/her nachos. I don't want to put the chips in because it will get soggy. I assumed that's common sense. A good worker would just tell the customer nicely that you cannot fill it that full. Even if he asked nicely to pay the extra charge, I would not have mind. To anyone that goes to this 7/11, watch out for this super rude, uneducated dark skin worker that wears a turban with thick beard! He seriously need some anger management! read more

I stopped in to get my step-son an apple for school as we had run out at home. There was a sign posted that clearly stated "Bananas, Apples, etc... 2/$1.00" Since I only needed one apple, the register rung it up at "$.59" which was perfectly acceptable. The attendant then hit a few buttons and I saw that the amount had changed briefly to "$1.08" and then finally to "$.99" I mentioned to her that the sign said a different price, and that I would take two then. She then told me that price was only for bananas! I decided to bring her the sign so she could read it for herself. She then told me "no, we need to take the sign down" and then proceeded to put the sign behind the counter. This is NOT an isolated incident, which is why I'm finally writing to complain today. I am fed up with this particular store's personnel. They are all very, very rude and there is often a dispute over the prices posted. These folks have no concept of customer service! I was with a friend one night, a heavyset woman, and the attendant actually had the nerve to ask her "what's your problem? Why are you so big?" It's unreal! More recently, my girlfriend was scolded by the attendant for not scratching off a certain part of a lottery ticket when she brought it back to redeem it. He had the nerve to tell her "I told you to scratch this part last time! I don't have time for this!" This type of service is becoming synonymous with the 7-eleven brand for me. I am planning to file a "bait and switch" complaint with the FTC right after I am done here. I am an outraged customer! read more
