    Big Bite

11/30/25 11:20pm I walk in with a dry, brown/burnt Big Bite I just had delivered from GH. Cashier "Chiue" (asian guy) starts to question me on how long I've had the hot dog, how many days?! Goes to show how the hot dog they just handed to my delivery driver looked! He started mumbling away as he tells me it wasn't him and calls another guy from the back. He tells him, he doesn't know but I'm complaining about it. He asks me what the problem is? Really?! I tell him I just had it delivered and if he would eat it if he received it looking like that. He then says he wasn't there, it wasn't him. All along I can hear the other guy "Chiue" at the register while helping a customer saying,, "if you don't like the food don't come buy here, go somewhere else. I walk over and explain to him it's not about the food but the quality of the food that was sent to me in the "Condition " that it was unacceptable. The other guy asks if I want my $2 back and hands me the money, while still the asian guy is chewing me away. I have to say that it seemed that they were more bothered than the customer, me. I'm the one who was hungry, paid delivery fees, only to have this thing delivered to me, AND, I had to come to the store to show them. It's really unfair but more importantly, I was disrespected by an employee that was upset I said someone there had just handed this to my delivery person. I've live here in Hollydale for over 20yrs, and live 300ft away and have been coming here that long. It's not what it used to be when the owner and son ran the store. I won't be ordering from this store anymore. I've ordered in the past fountain drinks, iced coffee and every time I got them, they were filled to the very top of ice. Not halfway or less but to the top. I think this stores employees are getting a laugh out of what they are doing to the delivery orders. Be warned! 12100 Garfield Ave, SG

On of the dangers of a 96 Plus is so many items catch your eye. They have an aisle with all types of toys, gadgets some under a buck others around the 5 dollar mark. They have an aisle with household items. The next aisl over is home, hardware and special gadgets which has tools, lights, safety items, tape, and more. They have a spot with school and office supplies next to that. Towards the back plenty of items for the kitchen, laundry room and to clean. The sides feature many wonderful gadgets, keychains, bandanas, plants and snacks. The area around the cashier has so many lotto tickets, so many snacks and still more gizmos and tools to catch your eye like those back scratchers. The guy there was very freindly and had personality, plus he did not follow me around like some people do. This place is not as big and fabulous as the dollar tree or the 99 cent store but they have great bargains on so many items. You can usually find parking and the major intersection and fwy proximity make it very convenient. I left with a small globe for $1.99 which I purchased for my nephew. I will be back next time I am in the area. In this economy, I can really appreciate this store.

I looked and couldn't find it, so I said can you please ask someone. So she came over and said I don't see it. Then she asked someone for help. This other very curt rude lady came over and reluctantly asked what I wanted. She looked and pointed right there as she walked away angry, like I really was bothering her. She should get a different job where she isn't around people. You don't treat customers like that. Walgreens needs to train their people better customer service and maybe even act like they enjoy their job. Maybe even try to smile. This was Sunday morning 11/9, at 9:15 AM. There was Maybe 2 other people in the store. It's not like they were busy. That is the last time I will go to Walgreens.

I'm really frustrated with Walgreens at the moment that I can't even think calmly to write this…read morereview. Walgreens needs to do a better job on how they refill prescriptions. I don't get why they have to call the doctor's office to confirm a refill which that doctor approved of months ago by sending that prescription with multiple refills. I see my doctor almost once every month, unless I have insurance problems or can't get a day off of work which is rare. I would understand if they were filling an opioid drug that someone can use to get high with, yes call make sure the doctor wrote the prescription or still wants the patient taking the meds. They have fallen behind a whole month before because they would try getting my doctor to confirm a refill, but since my doctor sent the monthly prescription, they won't approve a refill, which in return tells Walgreens not to fill anything. Then when I finally find out what the issue is, it takes me a couple of days to get in touch with my doctor's office since they aren't in everyday. Even my doctor's office doesn't understand why they need to call them to get an approval for a refill. The good things about Walgreens is the pharmacy is open everyday. Plus they send text messages when prescriptions are being filled or if something is wrong with the prescription. It looks like they're always busy, always moving. I know it's not the workers who are the problem, it's Walgreens all together and their rules and or policies. They also have a drive thru to pick up the meds, but I've only done that when there's no line, but even then I try to go inside.

This is strictly for pharmacy, specifically "pharmacy tech" Ashley…read more I rarely write Yelp reviews, but my experience at the Walgreens pharmacy drive-thru was so disappointing that I felt compelled to share it. I approached the interaction with a friendly attitude and treated the pharmacy technician with respect from the start. As someone with a college degree and several years of customer service experience, I understand that not every day is easy and that customer-facing jobs can be challenging. However, there is never an excuse for treating customers with the level of disrespect that I experienced. From the beginning, I was met with an unnecessarily rude, dismissive, and unprofessional attitude. Instead of offering basic courtesy and assistance, the technician was confrontational, careless, and showed no concern for how she was speaking to a customer. What was most shocking was her complete lack of remorse. When I expressed my concern, she casually displayed her badge information as if she was completely unbothered by the possibility of a complaint. That level of indifference makes me question whether this is a recurring issue. If this is how customers are routinely treated, it reflects very poorly on Walgreens and its commitment to customer care. Customer service matters, especially in a healthcare setting where patients may already be dealing with stressful or sensitive situations. Based on this interaction, it is clear that this employee would benefit from additional customer service training and coaching on professional communication. No customer should be made to feel unwelcome or disrespected when seeking assistance with their prescriptions. As a result of this experience, I will be transferring my family's prescriptions elsewhere. I am extremely disappointed and sincerely hope management addresses this issue before more customers have a similar experience.

They kindly told me which aisle the other options were, but they also asked me to bring back the product they ran out for samples for. I expressed I was personally in a rush because my party was at check out, also on a schedule. I couldn't find it, so I told them and they asked for me to stay put to man the station while they went to grab it. I see a few problems with this approach. Firstly, it puts a lot of pressure on me, a customer, to bring back the right product. WinCo is big and I couldn't find the product. Secondly, they should have had an employee be back up to look after the station, and not a customer that was wanting to leave. This is also a lesson learned for myself because I personally should have said "no" to the asks to begin with. In terms of groceries, I was impressed by the variety. However, I wouldn't say it's the best priced as most items are by the pound. Some items are obvious good deals, like 25lb of carrots for $11 and $0.33 per ear of sweet corn. The interior is simple with no theatrics. A huge variety of products on display. However, if you're looking for a specific product, that's difficult as evident from my experience. Lastly, they have a Pokémon Center vending machine. I purchased a few available packs but my last pack was never dropped down. WinCo doesn't manage the machine as its third party, so I had to call the number on the machine for a refund. It was inconvenient to say the least. Overall, I think this is a great grocery store for the community. However, boundaries must be set with employees' expectations of customers.
