Do not-I repeat do not go to this establishment unless you enjoy being treated like you are a POS, like being over charged, and like to be short changed when you pay with cash. To be honest, if I could give this place NO STARS, I would. I come here every other day to get some food. The food is a little overpriced and kinda sucks. The donuts are ALWAYS dryer than a Popeyes biscuit. But one thing that pisses me off the most.. the staff. The staff are racist towards white people and just hella rude in general. I believe in the attitude if you cant say anything to build up a business regardless if you had a negative experience and cant build them up just don't support it.. .........,until today . I stayed calm and eventually she figured out it was a problem with the system with no apology whatsoever ..Ok whatever ,but today.....( NEXT LEVEL ) the cashier shouted at me " HEY ,EH ,EH ,EH " .when I went to leave with my items that she wrong up wrong .I want to say that regardless of how they acted I continued not react in the moment because I felt it was best not to stoop to that level . it was a Friday morning, and I really wanted some chicken wings, boneless specifically. I have had great experiences with other 7-Elevens, boneless chicken wings in the past. I'm running low on money right now, so 7-Eleven was my best option. I'll always enjoy the wings, whether that be spicy or barbecue. Let's just say these "boneless" wings arrived boney. But to my surprise, as I attempted to take a crunchy little bite, I felt slime touch my face and saw my daughter who is eating the wings. If you want some hot food from their hot food area, look no further!! I purchased a Breakfast Sausage Biscuit and it was expired!!! The hot food they have sitting under the warmer all day is OLD. You know, I've had it with this place. They've treated my friends and me with such disrespect. They charged me three extra dollars for a bottle of wine because they felt like it. I didn't want to go anywhere else for wine, so I paid for it. When I saw the total ($13.50 for a $10 bottle), I was like "how much??" and she said this exactly "10 plus 3" like that's supposed to make sense. Fuck this place. I will never go here again. I have a 7-11 app. making large drinks .79$ It is advertised all over the store. I went up to pay, put in my number. and the man said $2.09. I said no .79$ He rolled his eyes at me and his wife said the system was down. (which was a lie) I went in on Saturday and her son was able to offer me .79$ drinks. This is the 2nd time the owners did this to me. IF the system is down, why is it not mentioned anywhere and why did they have me type in my number. While I personally have never had an issue shopping here a co-worker of mine has had two unbelievably awful experiences in the past few weeks. As a result I will never shop there and will encourage others to think twice. The short of it is my co-worker is a wonderful and kind person who teaches children. I have never seen him be insulting or negative to another person. The guy who works at 7-11 obviously disagrees as he threatened to call the cops on him for returning a packet of gummi worms that he decided not to buy. Another time when a few of my co-workers went in together to get slurpies the clerk yelled at him (no one else) and told him to get out. The other friends tried to calm the clerk down and pay and go, but he refused to let our friend get a slurpie and ordered him to leave. My co-worker is a 6'4" african american male. It's a 7-11! Nothing special. But I do find myself here often. The workers are pretty much poopheads here. They have really strange rules in this place, like only 3 teenagers can come in at one time. Although I am not a teenager anymore that always drove me crazy when I was younger. But, 7-11 does offer slushies! And a redbox right in the front. So for those two reasons I will still be giving them business. read more

WARNING if you dont pay attention and the opportunity arises the staff will try to not give you proper change. i Knew this was A Possibility because it used to happen when my kids would go in after school and get slushees but I still went in and of course they put the wrong amount on my chime card when I went back they screwed me around for 2 days then the owner said "I'm sorry I can't see on the camera where the change went." This "convenient" store is really bad I should give zero stars. Often times I'd just get a bottle of water if I forgot to bring one to work. The people who work there can't even count change and I had to tell the guy working there I needed a quarter and he kept disagreeing with me. Wish I could give no stars. I've always been disappointed in the lack of customer service here as they treat you so poorly. But the past few times have really set me off especially during covid. The first time I was socially distanced from the guy paying and right as he finished paying and trying to put his money away the woman working was yelling at me to come to the register as he is still there and I'm respecting mine and his 6ft distance. They do not care for keeping customers safe. The second case has happened twice, once the tall younger male worker had no mask on at all, yes you have glass barrier but it is a mandate in California to wear you damn mask so wear it, especially when you enforce with signs for customers too! Second time was the woman not wearing her mask correctly, it was down below her chin and she was coughing while sitting directly behind the hot food section, then right after as I'm watching she gets up to help a customer and still does NOT put her mask on even when helping the customer. And touching the items in which she had coughed into her hands with. This made me so disturbed and so frustrated to the point I put away my items and left the store, I will not be returning to this disgusting 7-11 until the employees attempt at respecting customers safety and following the CDC guidelines. I'm very tempted to contact the city of Sebastopol on this. read more

My boyfriend and I had a similar experience that Emily O. had. We went to 7 eleven looking for kitchen gloves, but they didn't have them. Before we left we had picked up a packet of ed hardy energy strips because we thought it was a funny concept, but we put them back as we had no interest in purchasing them. We decided not to buy anything and walked towards the door the clerk started yelling at my boyfriend that he had stollen a condom and that he was going to call the cops. We told him we didn't take anything and to check our pockets, but he just kept yelling to give it back. My boyfriend walked back to the end of the isle and showed the clerk the energy strips he had put back. Then the clerk started yelling at us about why we hadn't put it back properly. He never apologized. I will never be going back to this store, they will just harass you for no reason. read more

I have had very bad experiences with this store regarding the clerk that has a very angry and bad attitude toward customers. My teen daughters have been yelled at to hurry up while shopping here by this one clerk. I have been treated poorly myself on several occasions.The last incident was when I was at the counter and asked a simple question about cash back. I agree there is definitely a short guy there that seems to run the place & he has been rude to other people in front of me & other patrons, and rude to me as well. When I first moved here my freezer stopped working so i needed a little ice for a SMALL ice chest...the nice guy at the counter said go ahead, then the little guy came out after me as I was leaving, yelling at me for taking all his ice (which I had not taken much at all) and yelled it wasn't free! He said .50 well all I had was .30 so I gave it to him & he was still angry at me & then treated me badly for the next few months every time I came in, even though I always bought something. I wish they would replace that rude dude, he makes everyone feel bad for even walking into his store. He should be happy we are there, as we are they ones funding his paycheck. =( read more

The owner of this store is probably one of the creepiest meanest people I have ever met in my life. I live in Sebastopol and they are so rude to everybody but especially the kids. The kids from the nearby middle school go here a lot after school and the store has a "three student at a time" policy where they make any teenager wait outside if there's already three teens inside, as well as leave your backpacks outside and they watch you like a creepy stalker or something when you're in the store, because they don't want you to steal, which in my opinion is incredibly rude to act like all kids are going to try to steal and to treat them so horribly considering they're giving you there business!!! The treatment they give their customers is disgraceful. I haven't bought anything from them in a long time and even though I love 7-11 slurpees, I don't plan on giving them any business again ANY time in the future. Please, don't support their business. I will never go to this location and buy anything there ever again until things change! Never mind the fact that every time my family and I are on the store we get scowled at by the male employee and when we purchase our items there is never eye contact or kindness shown. Today was the last straw I took my 7 year old daughter to get a slurpee after a visit to the park, she loves them and was so excited. When she put the slurpee on the counter it tipped over and spilled. She quickly said sorry and picked it up, he treated her terrible! His tone and words were sharp she was in tears. I walked out the store after he began to shoo us out saying get! I called corporate in Dallas while still in my car outside the store and made a formal complaint. I grew up in Sebastopol and have been going to this 711 since I was a child. This store is very close to our home and so it's convenient. We had been treated so poorly on a consistent basis that I made a call to the corporate office. The regional manager took our complaint seriously, called me back a couple of times and even traveled from Sacramento to meet with the owner and staff. Called me again to apologize for the horrible service, and shortly after I received a letter with a couple of coupons for free slushies and coffee. So a week or 2 later I go into the store with my 21 year old son and my younger son. Immediately we are given the evil eye from the bad attitude guy behind the counter. My sons get their slushies, we get some other snack food etc., my son hands him the coupons and I'm sure he still charged us for the slushies. My 21 year old asks for some smokes (I paid for everything else), and it's obvious we are all together, mr wonderful behind the the counter refuses to sell them to him. What?? He has I'd etc, but no says the mean little man behind the counter, you take money from kids and buy cigarettes, we no sell to you! What? I say what kids? Show me the kids! Ok,fine. I'll by the cigarettes. NO HE SAYS! What the heck? Mind you, I just spent like $30 on snacks etc for a little trip yo the coast. I say so you are accusing me of buying kids cigarettes? I don't have to sell you nothing! I'm calling the police. Fine. As he is speaking to the police in some foreign language, he again says no, I spoke with my supervisor, no cigarettes. So, I ask for him to write down his supervisors name and # on the back of my receipt! he crunches up my receipt and throws it in the trash.
