Young's has been incredibly unprofessional and unethical in issuing my restaurant it's long past due credits and has put us through a tremendous run around to get accommodate their back ass accounting system that is both nameless and faceless...I even hand delivered the unpicked up kegs to try and expedite things and thankfully have paper work acknowledging the return from over a month ago that apparently has not been noted in their "system" yet. What a crock of shit. Of course they will be quick to get you back in their fold and have your credits buy more wine or booze but anything short of that, they will screw you like the customer they dread having. They should be embarrassed how they have treated a long term customer. I will tell everyone I know who uses them to watch their back and change vendors.

I love local wines, but this Italian girl also loves exploring and trying these imported Italian wines and provisions too. Variety...the spice of life! The owners are extremely knowledgeable about all the wines they carry. Need a recommendation? Just ask! I've been in a few times so far to purchase Italian wines and treats including Antonio Mattei Biscotti di Prato (the best biscotti ever!), torrone (a nougat confection), pasta, and tomato sauce. They also carry Italian sardines, olive oils, cookbooks, wine decanters, and more. Large, excellent selection of high quality wine from every region in Italy. Piedmont, Sicily, Tuscany etc. etc. they are all covered and in EVERY price range. I have bought numerous bottles based off the recommendations of the owners, all have been exceptional. Add in a large selection of French Champagne and Italian sparkling wine and you have a truly unique assortment of Italian wine and French Champagne. If that was the extent of Ciao Bruto it would be great but the provisions part of the store is awesome! Specialty Italian ancient grain pasta in all shapes and sizes. Believe me, you can taste the difference compared to chain store pasta. Also a large assortment of tinned fish-shellfish, honey, spices, vinegars and oils, pickled veggies, various pestos and sauces, flour, chocolates and others confections, pasta making machines, Italian cookbooks and a whole lot more. All this imported from Italy! You can't quite completely "grocery shop" there but you can get specialty food, wine and provisions you simply can't get anywhere else. Ciao Bruto is the creation from the people next door at Idlewild Wines, also makers of great Italian Piedmont varieties such as Dolcetto, Barbara, Nebbiolo, Arneis etc. all grown in nearby Mendocino County. Service at Ciao Bruto is friendly and very helpful. Not sure about Italian wine, French Champagne or specialty food from Italy, no problem, just ask for help from Courtney whose expertise is French Champagne or Thomas whose knowledge is all about Italian wine and food. This time we delved into a different beer that we haven't had from them before and we really enjoyed it just like the first time. This time the beer was an IPA by the name of Pallet Forager. We aren't always blown away by IPA'S but the ones we have had lately have been great which includes this one. Flavor highlights in this beer are hoppiness, fruitiness, juicyness, some sweetness and a bit of mango flavor. This IPA proved to be very refreshing and enjoyable. So glad that we returned for another beer experience with Moonlight Brewing!

They are very dog friendly, and even have little treats available for your pups. I brought my dog, and we met lots of other doggy friends and felt very welcomed. I was looking for something lighter, so I ordered their fruit punch seltzer, which was refreshing. I've also had several their beers in the past and enjoyed them too. I heard they release a new beer every 1-2 weeks, which keeps the tap list fresh. They have chips and candy available for snacks, and they have a variety of revolving food trucks that they host. I've seen everything from Mexican and pizza to sandwiches.
