I am glad he did not have any allergies or religious concerns because that will F people up. Having a single 22 year old as the only person on late nights is cutting corners and a recipe for disaster. It's quite clear someone needs to give a damn about the products.

I hope this is the right one near the donut store! But this short dude ws so rude to me ! So real easy I bought a tall can from them of Dr Pepper and when . I got to my truck it was spraying all over my groceries , I could t believe it ! So it ruined all My shit and I was out a Soda! So I brought to the window and showed the short little dude and he said not His fault! Wow, are you serious! What's crazy is that some of the security guys who work Outside say they do t go inside because there so rude! Listen dude you picked the career path of a slurpee pusher not me, and secondly Santa Monica yes has homeless people that's not my fault ! But to treat everyone like shit is crazy! So I am taking this to Cooperate and going as high as I can do that this guy gets fired !! So funny I can see like three people ripping you off while ur store clerk does nothing ! Every morning, at around 3 AM, I come to the 7-Eleven to get an espresso. They have a huge assortment of coffee. This 7-Eleven used to be different, actually it was half the size it is now. The remodel is wonderful. The store is almost like a miniature target or Walmart as far as their inventory, but the service is absolutely horrendous in the middle of the night. I suffer from insomnia and often need to grab a coffee between 3 AM and 4 AM. Every night for the past week, this place has been closed between the hours of 3 AM and 4 AM. The thing that sucks is you can see the employee through the window literally sitting there for an hour. Maybe he's got an hour lunch break, or maybe he's just getting his life together for 60 minutes, either way, it's us the customers who suffer. I understand that there are a ton of homeless people laying around this place, but none of them are banging down the door to hang inside of this place. read more

Standard 7-11 with bonus points for being next to DK's Donuts. The parking lot can be a nightmare, but at least they have one. I'll try to park on the street because you're usually in and out of here relatively quickly. It doesn't get too busy during non-peak hours and the staff are relatively attentive individuals from my past experiences. Standard selection, ATM nearby, and decent access considering the street that it is on. read more

Dingy joint, in a dusty area. The store is dirty, and I feel like I've stepped into a bad neighborhood, yet this is Samo. Something about the place. Maybe it's the agressive homeless standing outside asking for money when I enter or leave the store... Maybe it's the loud people buying beer and being rowdy in the store... When I came in, the manager, Kat, was at the front taking orders while also making a drink. She looked at me and asked what I wanted, but because she had a drink in her hand and was writing on it, I genuinely didn't realize she was speaking to me. When she asked again, I politely said, "Are you speaking to me? I'm sorry." She responded very rudely, "Yes," and again asked for my order. I then asked what sugar-free syrups they offered because I was ordering for my father, who is diabetic. She abruptly responded, "Vanilla and caramel." I told her I wanted vanilla, but apparently she didn't hear me. Instead of simply asking me to repeat myself, she angrily said, "Which one do you want?" in an unnecessarily hostile tone. At that point, I asked to speak with the manager because I was so taken aback by the way I was being spoken to. She loudly responded, "I AM the manager." That honestly made the entire interaction even more concerning. A manager should be setting the standard for how customers are treated, not speaking to them with hostility and making them feel uncomfortable for simply placing an order and asking a question. I was polite throughout the entire interaction and there was absolutely no reason for the attitude I received. I have been coming to this location regularly and have never experienced this kind of treatment from the other employees. Unfortunately, if Kat is working at the front, I will not be returning. Customers should be aware that this is the type of interaction they may encounter from the person who is supposed to be managing the store.

He walked back to all the places I was and talked to every cashier every person that pushes a cart outside, Customer Service service people and lost and found people to no avail, and he was really amazing and kind! He saw I was forlorn and insisted that he walk me to my car where he was hoping it would be there... IT WAS WEDGED BETWEEN MY SEATS! Without his kindness and his calming words, I might not have ever found it, but it magically appeared and I hugged him three or four times and said do you love your mother and he said I absolutely do I said "because you're kindness shows that you know how to be wonderful to women and helpful!" So, bravo to WHOLE FOODS for having a terrific human working for them... I recommend shopping here and if you see MO, please say hello! He absolutely saved the day with a smile and his sweet demeanor...;))) PS I have never lost anything in my life. I know that's a big thing to say and today was no different. I am very blessed and I appreciate that.
