I came here looking for some Chile lime flavor potato chip lays. He told me there was none left. I then looked around and found one. This is a sign they do not keep track of their inventory. I almost bought a inferior product instead. Me as the customer should not have a better idea of the inventory than the staff. My friend ordered some chicken taquitos and he bit into beef. I am glad he did not have any allergies or religious concerns because that will F people up. Having a single 22 year old as the only person on late nights is cutting corners and a recipe for disaster. It's quite clear someone needs to give a damn about the products. read more

They don't clean their fountain drinks at every 7-Eleven in Los Angeles. The fountains literally taste disgusting.

Well was hoping they would have smartened up. Nope. Still not taking care of Samo locals, police, first responders, and unhoused. Closed at 1:30 on a Saturday night. How do they even have a franchise. ?!?! read more

I never get excited about yelping 711's, but I enjoy all the ones in the Santa Monica and West L.A areas. This one is near the beach, in which it makes it convenient to go to. 7-Eleven on Wilshire Bl in Santa Monica. Generally, I do not frequent these type of convenient stores for fear of possibly 'being at the wrong place at the wrong time' robbery situation victim. These convenient store tend to get robbed regularly and I almost always avoid them, except today. This was the nearest and most convenient market around. I was thirsty and needed alkaline H20 so I stopped inside this 7 eleven. Purchased 2 liters of alkaline H20, 2 liters of Fiji H20, a bag raw almonds and 2 bananas. The female cashier was super nice, friendly and helpful. She offered me a discount on the items I purchased and she seemed genuinely nice. I thanked her and asked where her lovely accent was from...she replied 'Burma,' next to Thailand. I immediately said, 'oooh I Love Burmese Rubies!' She was shocked I knew, I smiled, winked and thanked her again :) And right outside this 7 eleven is a guy selling fresh flowers. The flowers, particularly the stargazer lilies looked so fresh and intoxicatingly fragrant, wanted to buy a bunch but didn't have enough cash on hand. I spoke to the floral guy Ramon in Spanish and complimented him on the lovely flowers. Within 5 seconds he put together a bouquet and gifted them to me...such a thoughtful gesture. I gave him the limited cash I had and thanked him profusely. Despite my fear of convenient stores, there are some genuine kind hearted people that are just super nice with heartfelt intentions and do Acts of Kindness. I felt blessed and grateful to come across these angels xoxo! read more

This 7 eleven is selling surgical masks for $2.99 each , when I know that a box of 20 retails for $5.99 at Drug store. Hospitals are running short on these masks. Instead of donating them to local Hospital in town they are preying on residents of Santa Monica. Many elderly. Depending on how many boxes they have is the 55.00 bucks they make extra really going to make a difference in their life. Shame on these people. I will never patronize that 7 Eleven again. read more

Clerk at store was extremely rude to me buying a lotto ticket. I'm not familiar buying them. He immediately printed quick picks and didn't ask if I wanted my own numbers. I told him I ok, but I wanted to pick numbers. A nice man inside said, you should have ask her, and started yelling stay out of it. I said he was just at being polite. Then he starts screaming, "She's wrong! She's wrong!" ( I had already told him I would buy those) Then he turned his rage on me. I said," In the past I would have been ask." I ask for the owner, and he said he was the owner, and called me an old lady. I told him he should not be in a position of customer service and he smiled and said, " Fuck you, old lady" again. I replied the same to him. The older clerck behind the counter tried to defuse the situation, and was polite. This clerk should be fired. I have worked in a position of customer service for forty years, and told the clerck in the beginning of this transaction that I would go ahead and buy them, even though it wasn't what I wanted. Wish I could give zero stars. I came here before work and grabbed some steak and cheese taquitos. As soon as I bit into the first one I could tell it was bad and when I looked at the taquito I saw mold on the inside. 7-11 really needs to invest in some security. All the locations have issues but this one is particularly troubling. Every time I go, there are multiple panhandlers hollering at me, addicts nodding off in front of the door, and tonight there was a scam going on where some girl was crying and claiming they stole her last 3 dollars. They were having a yelling match as I was trying to check out. As she was distracting them and holding up the long line of customers, someone else shoplifted while wearing a Halloween mask. I waited outside in my car and saw them go around the corner together. A minute before that drama happened, a different homeless woman came in begging for a cup of free coffee and refusing to leave without it. There is constant drama here, and crime is common. Every single time, something happens that makes me feel like society is falling apart. It is really heartbreaking but these Santa Monica 7-11s need security and I don't know why they don't have it. The stores have become places that attract these mini skid row communities outside. read more

The flower stand just OUTSIDE is outstanding - pricewise. I stopped by on a Thursday evening to pick up a friend a bunch of flowers, some tiger lilies, & it was just $9.00- what a break. Not sure if he does that just for women? Another woman was just as grateful as me. The key word here is to negotiate. Once upon a time, I brought my big vase in & one of the florists made a simple tropical arrangement. Select your flowers, notify the florist, he writes up a bill, then directs you to pay inside. Stand in the quick moving line to pay & presto, out in a jiffy. Just be forewarned, they close up @ 8 p.m. Sometimes the florist will cut you some slack if he is closing up. He said I was the last customer of the night. I could tell he just wanted to get out of there. Maybe that's why I got a deal? Sometimes the flowers have already opened. In that case, he might cut the price down. If you buy a regular priced bunch that has not bloomed yet, he might even offer to throw in an already bloomed bunch for FREE! The best selection I'm told is on Monday. I went late Saturday afternoon, I was still able to get 16 stems of half-open pink gladiolas for $9.00, unheard of in Santa Monica. I like a bargain, don't you? Especially if it has to be thrown out in a week! read more

Had some food doordashed from here. Order was incorrect. Food was inedible. I think the staff is nice given what they have had to put up with. They now have security which was really needed long ago, but now they have it, it DOES make a difference. I love some of the value wines as they seem to have stepped up their quality. In fact, I notice that their Trojan Horse Pinot Grigio is always out of stock!! They don't keep up with restocking the wines. Not sure why but I'll go to the other 7-11 just to get what I want. read more

Bad customer service. The employee walks away texting on his phone before the transaction could complete and when I yell out "What the f", he tells me to calm down. But dude, you're not completing the transaction!!! Then, on multiple occasions, the doors have been locked during BUSINESS HOURS!!! Causing many customers to go to other establishments, thus making this one lose out on money. This specific store has no concept of customer service. And low key, I feel they're racist. I have seen their demeanor change when I would walk up to the counter compared to the person of another ethnicity who was right before me. They will no longer get my business or the business of any of my friends. Should get 0 stars! read more

Don't ever go here ever. Homeless have taken over. You can'r get coffee or drinks or service. Never supporting here again. Instead of dealing with the homeless they have now started catering to the homeless and are actually serving them and making them a priority over their actual paying customers you can no longer get your own drink or a coffee no creamer I see the 7-Eleven dying a slow death 7-Eleven coffee is the only reason for going and now you can't even get it. I'm gonna be fair with this review. The overall store is nice. A little dirty but that's cause a lot of people come here and they aren't clean or courteous. I'm giving 4 stars mainly cause they don't got iced coffee which is the only way I drink my coffee. I felt like a crackhead making my own iced coffee with the hot coffee and ice with creamers!! But aside from that they got everything else. Please clean up after yourselves tho people cause they get busy in the morning and to leave a big mess after a rush like that is disrespectful as hell read more

I completely agree about the Flowers here. Everyone I tell about them thinks I am freaking crazy. I used to get them from the dutch guy at the Farmers market but not anymore. Me: Dude, I have a guy at the 7-11 by my house that hooks up some awesome bouqets of flowers at an insane price. You HAVE to go here. CoWorker: 7-11 huh? Yeah, I'll be sure to check that out buddy (sarcastic tone). -1 star for the transients that will inevitably accost me at least twice while I wait for the flowers to be arranged. Every 7-11 should come with a security guard. read more

Horrible 7/11. The coffee machines are always dirty and empty. And they try to pass off old stake food as "fresh". Also bad customer service. Last time I was here there was a heavy srt guy who was too busy eating a ice cream rather than answering a simple question. Which was "Excuse me, is there anymore coffee?". While the ice cream was dripping down his shirt he nodded his head which I assume was the answer to my question. read more

Impossible to park. All the spaces taken up by uber and lyft drivers that apparently have no work. They just sit in the lot and leave no parking spots for customers. Management needs to get these people to move so they can make money in their store. No place to park, I just go down to the chevron station. Don't get me started on the homeless situation. SMPD should make this their sub-station since they are always here read more

I do not know why, but I love 7-Eleven coffee. And they have upgraded too. Know they not only have decaf, but they also have 2-3 kinds of flavored coffee as well at this location. I often come here when I am on a coffee run for a bunch of folks, and 7-Eleven makes it cheap and easy. They have the trays ready, four kinds of sweetener, several kinds of dairy and nondairy creamer, all in to-go containers - I fill-up the cups then fill up my pockets with the coffee add-ins and it is a quick in and out. read more

This 7-Eleven, like all others, seems to have it all. I think the only thing it's missing is a clothing section, although I did see you could get to rags, hairsprays, and brushes inside so maybe he does have it all. The one special thing I noticed was right outside the doors they actually sell flowers. Now it's not a Conroy's or TheBouqs.com but seriously you can purchase your loved one or anyone special some flowers for about $10 at 7/11- that's mine blowing, crazy, and frankly it's awesome. When I walked inside there was a line of about eight people. This seems to be typical of any place in Santa Monica between 12-2 p.m. Because that's lunchtime and everyone is either eating and/or running errands. I want a Slurpee and my friend wanted Marlboro cigarettes- and they had both! The manager saw the line and came out to help get people out quicker. With him doing that we were in and out of there within 3 minutes. That was extremely quick and efficient and we both got exactly what we wanted. It's crazy for me to give this place 5 stars, here's my reasons why. The Hawaii 7-11 sucks. I'm sick of eating mediocre rice food in Hawaii. Breakfast Bowl? Spam Musubi? Sushi? Roast Beef Sandwich? Out of Hot Dogs? Out of Taquitos? Bland Doritos? Bland Frito Lays Chips? Spicy Tuna Roll? Arizona Green Tea? Expensive Water? Seriously almost nothing has change for 5 years for 7-11 in Hawaii. We were staying at Sheraton Santa Monica Delfina hotel and we wanted to buy bottled water. So we walked to a nearby 7-11 and found more than just water. A case of 24 20oz bottle water was only $4!!! 7-11 has their own brand of chips with so many different flavors. Arizona Lite Green Tea Lemonade is the BEST! This 7-11 has a special for 2 hot dogs or 2 taquitos or mix match all for $2.22. There's also Cheetos Fire Hot Puffs! Damn it, I can't think of any others but I could probably live on 7-11 food for a month before I start to get sick of it. Oh and under the box of the hot dog box is a bonus code for all you Mafia Wars players. Hawaii 7-11 is never going to change, just like Hawaii. read more

I come here for cheap food when I forget my lunch at work. Student here :p the workers are super nice although their English isn't very good. The other reviews are right, the flowers are great. But the hobos are not. There was one who kept his eyes on me as I walked past him and into the store... Creepy. Update: it's the week of free stuff after 7-11 and I just got a free Twix ice cream bar from 7-11. I like this place a lot! read more

This 7-11 has the best floral bouquet arrangements I have found in LA, especially considering that the most you'll pay is $35 for a monster set of flowers that are designed to bloom for a week or 2, not just look insane for a day and then turn brown. I asked for a $15 bouquet last week to settle my girlfriends mood and it totally worked, and it continues to bloom and look fresh 5 days later. It's giant. Of course there is a 7-11 here too and they are what you expect from 7-11(motor oil, soda, beer, hostess products, lottery) although there are a ton of homeless that hang out here, probably due to the high traffic from the flowers. It's also where cabbies hang out, if you need a lift. Long story short, go here for the flowers, and since they are probably not for you, grab yourself a treat while you're at it. read more

I called in to the 800 number to complain about a worker by the name "Than". This was so rude! He acts like he owns the place! He is very disrespectful! I know he's young and probably doesn't know any better, but I hope they get rid of him or teach him how to show customer service! read more

One of the most lively 7-Elevens that I have been to! Its crazy in there! All these homeless people like run the place, and its honestly a little nuts! ATM SCAM - BEWARE - I went to use the ATM inside this 7-eleven to take out $40 in cash. The machine said the fees would be $2.95. So I paid $7.95 in fees for a $40 withdrawal. This is not disclosed on the machine. read more

This location is close to my work so it's convenient. The cashier's are always quick and on their game. My only complaint is all the homeless people outside the doors and in the parking lot. Pretty busy always, lots of homeless. The coffee is never ready and the staff is always just standing around. It's pretty unorganized and I have seen a lot of flies. This 7Eleven is huge and was really close to my apartment....and yes they have pretty flowers, but I'd rather just pay a higher price elsewhere then deal with being harrassed by all the winos in the parking lot. I lived in LA for 2 1/2 years and in Santa Monica for over a year so yes, I know that homelessness plagues the city. I don't even have a problem with the homeless, but these bums were more brazen than most. I usually tried to hit the one on 16th and Santa Monica where I could get in and out in peace! read more

The business is run as a typical convience store...really nothing to say about this. The personnel do their job in an average , quiet way......nothing to say here. But the homeless situation right outside the door is what gives this business a bad name. Most every time I go to this store I am harassed by over aggressive pan handlers who camp out all day in front of the store. This is where the owner of the business should be held accountable. Maybe he should show his Yelp reviews to Santa Monica City Hall or the police. It is such a shame that a good business is literally trashed by ill people who seem to be allowed to hang out in front. The flower guys in front are awesome. read more
