So disappointed that this is in no way even close to tasting like a Japanese egg salad sando. Just a bland sandwhich.

Came here for the highly anticipated Japanese egg salad sando (highly disappointed, but will talk about that later.) The store itself isn't bad and is actually one of the nicer looking 7-Elevens I've been to recently. It's a basic convience store. Quick in and out too grab a snack, drink or minor basic items while on the go. The store itself was clean and well organized. I came on a random Tuesday for "lunch" and the cashier working was friendly enough. The layout of the store is pretty efficient to where you can just make one big loop to be able to grab evening you need. Now for the Japanese egg salad sando; there is much hype the some US stores will start getting some of the Japanese 7-Eleven items, including their egg salad sando. I went to 7-Eleven specifically to try this item and was 100% super disappointed. The new milk bread the sandwich is made on is an improvement compared to the traditional sliced white bread, but it was pretty dry, not that soft and barely had any sweetness that milk bread is known for. The egg salad filling is not the correct recipe. You can tell there is no sugar in it, and you can taste the vinegar is the American style mayo (no Kewpie mayo!) The filling is basically an overly bland American style egg salad with barely any seasoning. I would not call this a Japanese style sando at all... just a bland American egg salad sandwich on a sad excuse of milk bread. I'm not going to knock stars off for the sad sandwhich, but if you are looking to try their Japanese counterpart items, it's a huge pass.

A friend and I were across the street when we decided to go to 7-Eleven. We walked in on Friday, July 13th around 9:30pm. We had no intention of getting any food, but while standing in line, we decided to get some mini tacos. Ended up getting four for $1. Pretty good deal. I didn't have any, but they did seem to do the job and fulfill that snacky craving. We were drinking across the street, so we it helped to sop up the alcohol. Checking out was fairly easy and fast. We didn't really wait in line that long. Convenient if you're in the area. And it was well lit and pretty clean.

Closed... No sign explaining why... 24/7 my ass.

Open 24/7? I came to the store to pick up something in the Amazon locker. 3 am and no person here, or access to the store. I'd be more understanding if there was something hanging on the door explaining some kind of emergency but there's nothing but the lock. Gross incompetence.

Update and alert.... If you shop here based on my experience you are probably being charged more than the listed price. Ask them for a printed receipt and make certain they did not charge you more than the price listed on the counter. It seemed to me every time I shopped here the cost was off but it is hard to tell they way they run the place. When you go to the checkout they just ring it up and never give you a receipt. Last night I got some of my usual items down the street on sale and because of this only got one item at 7-Eleven. I was supposed to be charged $5.49 for hot food but they rang up $6.60 which is more then 10% over what was due. Why? The prices in their computer do not match the prices on the counter. This is true for hot food, items on sale and just about anything else which is supposedly on special. If you think you are getting the sale price you probably are not and probably are being charged the full price regardless of the price on the counter. I called the gal last night on this and she said that is what it rang up - This is illegal, they must sell an item for what it is marked on the counter by law. The prior time I was in I was charged about $3 too much on a couple of items. San Francisco is expensive enough without getting charged 10% more than you think each time you go in there. Be careful if they say there are out of an item and buy another item to go with it. I once wanted to buy diet coke and they only had one bottle so the guy at the counter said why don't you get Pepsi to go with it. The reason is they will charge you full Price on both of them. I had asked if I could have the last bottle for the sale price since they did not have two of them and they said no. Most places will say yes it is not my fault they were out of stock. The biggest problem here is poor attitude, poor customer service and greed. I think this place is a family owned franchise as the employees look like they might be related. Overall their customer service attitude is let's stick it to our customers.

Honestly the absolute best coffee or hot chocolate in the universe. Maybe because it reminds me of Dunkin Donuts. Everything here is fresh and tasty too. One day ill muster up the courage to buy the gigantic rice krispie treat.

Thought I'd give these guys a shout. Friendly service, and honest. A while ago I lost my cash and debit card. Without conviction, retraced my steps back to the 7 Eleven, there was card and money waiting for me, put aside. More recently (more carelessness), I mislaid a box of soda bought elsewhere, again waiting for me behind the counter. read more

This review isn't about the store - although I could probably write a thesis about the difference in quality between the Japanese and American versions of 7 Eleven. In fact, it was the story I read a month ago that this particular 7 Eleven is selling Japanese 'konbini' egg salad sandos. Well, you could've knocked me over with a paper towel. Not that I'm an expert but I'm quite familiar with the konbini sandos available in Japan, whether it's Family Mart, Lawson's, and yes, 7 Eleven. They're simply the perfect sandwich because they're simple, satisfying, and uniquely delicious. I bought the $5.29 Simply Egg Salad Sandwich which touts the use of "fluffy milk bread" (photo: https://yelp.to/mI4kqEwrXN). My verdict? Meh. The problem was the milk bread which tasted nothing like its Japanese counterpart. It was thick and chewy, the antithesis of the melty, slightly sweet version you'd find in Tokyo. They used reduced fat mayo and Dijon mustard but to little avail. They couldn't even bother to trim the crust. Man, was I disappointed. I'm going to say, if you're near Union Square and want a quick, good quality hot dog, skip the carts and go here. 1/4 pound beef hotdogs are $2.99, and the place is clean (and inspected!) Good service too. read more

Thank goodness for this 7-Eleven! It is such a life saver in downtown San Francisco! They have the basics you need 24/7 in 2024! There is not a lot open 24/7 anymore in downtown San Francisco! My husband often comes here after working from Mission District, and it's near where we live. But recently the security guy liked to find my husband trouble without reason, he thought my husband was homeless, and another day he said he wanted to beat my husband because he's Asian. This may be the worst 7-Eleven in San Francisco. Cranky man behind the counter, store isn't very clean and truthfully they have almost no fresh food. Four times I've been in and they didn't have the breakfast sandwich they sell out of donuts really and early I don't think they bring enough in to stock the way they should. Yes there's a pandemic going on and everything's a mess for everyone right now and sometimes difficult but this store needs to get their act together. read more

Quick service but also the guys working here are running around extremely busy and a lot of their customer service comes off rude, snappy and dismissive. I'm sure it's not a walk in the park working at 7 11 but often when I'm getting this attitude it is also unwarranted from anything I am doing. They are def not your friendly neighborhood corner store although currently I only go over here because every other store overcharges on items. Some guys at this store get really annoyed about using the rewards to pay less, even when the place isn't busy they are rushing around and in a hurry to rush customers out and annoyed with questions. I'd say 2 out of the 5 guys I see work here don't do that every time they see me. Oh well now I know what to expect from them. Also the security guys are always on me watching for me to take something but I come to this store almost every day and buy things every time so I do spend a lot of money here and don't deserve that. Treating me like I'm homeless when I pay high rent to live near Union square and have a full time job. I noticed other people in the reviews said similar things and I'm not surprised. read more

The person who is lying about what the security guard said is just trying to scare people away. they are making it up. This is one of the best 1611's I've ever been to. it's big, has ton of stuff. its a 711 in San Francisco so the outside can have people in front of it. don't be a scared lil b and just b nice to people and they will surely return the favor. read more

I was short changed by an expert cashier this Saturday night. or was 7-Eleven cheated over nine cents? No arguing. i just walked away over the Eleven Cents (ironic). I made a Cash payment for a candy bar $2.39. Two bucks and two quarters taken from a coin purse. Cashier thanked me I asked for my change. Was told I paid $2.30 - a quarter and a nickel. I say it was two quarters. Cashier opens the cash draw and takes a nickel from till and shows me I paid with a nickel. Did the employee steal from me or did he steal from the store? read more

The young lady working the front counter was very aggressive. I asked for a chicken buffalo roller and she couldn't hear me through my mask, the loud music, and the glass protector. I then raised my voice so she can hear clearer and she looked very annoyed. I'd only really come back if I have to. read more

Brand new 7-Eleven just opened! Nearest one is three blocks away. Super clean inside, and it has all of the modern conveniences one needs in a busy city like SF. Bought a slurpee and a pack of gun today. The staff is friendly too. Yay for another one! read more

It's a 7-11 so, it just a basic store with all your items, but i would take this 7-11 over the Walgreens right next door. This place is good to get your late night snacks or slurpee. The staff is friendly, and helpful so, it's a nice store to shop in. The store is small, but everything is cleanly laid out. read more

Hi I live in the East Bay so I'm really good customer with 711 store because they are only open 24 hours and I know there deal since when I was a kid . I'm going to start with No parking, they have two bathrooms and no one of them available they are out of service? !!! And guess what someone just came just got in when I was told by worker it's out of service?!!! So I said that's fine I was looking to the grill it was so miserable and old food there,, I did ask the employee what kind of promotion they have for the grill and he was not even listening and I just left,, I love 7-Eleven and believe or not I will not change my mind about 7-Eleven stores but for sure this one I will never come again,,, read more

Customer service is beyond bad. Watch out for Fahd. He has an attitude and chooses his customer, not the next in line. Also watch out for expired merchandise including mixed cut fruits. I respect waiting in line for the next service, but this store ignorged me five times while I was in line. Reported the problem to the manager and it was fixed until today. read more

Pretty decent for a 7-Eleven come here if you don't wanna pay the inflated prices from nearby stores in the area. Store was well organized and staff was friendly only thing is I didn't serve beer or any alcohol for that matter being that I'm from Los Angeles maybe this is a San Francisco thing. read more

I was there I tried to use the bathroom they have three and they said no one is available??!! So I said that's okay I tried to get a comfy and it was old I asked for a new one and the cashier was not happy, I left the store ask why I charged more wait for the manager to come to fix it next day!!!! the cashier was watching videos or something and speaking in the phone at the same time,, so I just realized he don't want to do anything and he went to just enjoy his work time watching and talking it over the phone,, read more

I normally go for the really nice iced coffee and a donut on my break from work BUT after seeing the donuts filled with flies- like the fruit flies it turned me off! And I bought a hotdog and added my tomatoes onions and to my surprise it had a bug smashed on the tomato! Totally ruined my dinner! The floors were ever so dirty and just didn't have a good feel at all! Employees are pleasant but this location needs help and I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't pass the sanitary test. You'd be better off purchasing water gum and a lotto ticket NOT food! I probably won't return. read more

I believe I stumbled into this place on Friday night. Immediately I was warmly greeted, finding a turkey and brie sandwich awaiting me in a nearby cooler for a rather modest fee. Upon paying, I was thanked by the gentleman for my business. The sandwich tasted delicious and fresh, and later in the evening, I'd wondered if it was all just a magnificently convenient dream. read more

Our office is about 50 feet away from this new 7-Eleven. I stop in a few times a week for a snack. The staff is very friendly. The place is clean. They have a great selection, including healthy items, such as fruit and sandwiches. Although, I tend to go for the donuts and coffee. read more

I was sold an expired 7-eleven watermelon flavored drink at this location. There is no expiration date printed on the bottle, but from taste alone it was clearly rotten. I called asking to have the random number printed on the bottle translated to understand how rotten the drink was. No one there could answer my question and told me to call back when a specific employee was working. This is completely unacceptable. read more

Left right away because a worker was extremely rude when we tried to stop for some hot dogs and use the bathroom. As we walked to the bathroom, he started yelling at us for no apparent reason. Maybe he was having a bad night (it was 12:30am), but the kind of service we got was inexcusable and we won't be back. read more

By the time I reached the checkout lane, my good arm was tired. The checkout clerk abruptly told me to remove the items from my basket and place them on the belt. Her tone was not polite, and the request wasn't explained. I genuinely didn't understand why she needed me to do that, so I didn't respond at first. She repeated the demand, again without politeness. I told her I could not do that. Instead of acknowledging that I might have a reason, she insisted she wouldn't check me out unless I complied. At that point, I told her she could ask nicely, find another clerk, or have a manager assist, because basic courtesy goes a long way, especially when asking a customer to do something physically difficult. Rather than showing understanding or professionalism, the clerk escalated the situation. She admonished me, accused me of trying to injure employees, and continued speaking to me in a snarky, disrespectful tone, all without knowing anything about my medical situation. A customer saying "no" should be the end of the discussion, especially when the request is physically burdensome and the employee has no context for the customer's limitations. The manager arrived, explained the store policy, and I explained my injury and the issue with the clerk's tone. The manager immediately understood, removed the items from the basket, and checked me out. The entire process took seconds. Whole Foods is not a discount store. Customers pay higher prices for better-quality products and better service. Being treated rudely, snarkily, and dismissively, especially by a young clerk who seemed more interested in asserting authority than helping a customer is unacceptable. If the clerk is unable or unwilling to assist customers who cannot unload a basket themselves, she should request a reasonable accommodation from management rather than placing the burden on customers. Respect goes both ways, but in a service environment, the customer should not be treated as an inconvenience. The manager handled the situation professionally. The clerk did not. A simple "please" could have changed the entire interaction. Instead, I left feeling disrespected and publicly embarrassed over something that should never have become a confrontation. Whole Foods can and should do better.

One rings the doorbell to enter the cozy shop; typically one party is allowed at a time. Complimentary hand sanitizer is available at the entrance as well as napkins if one does not want to touch the door. One of the few places we feel safe shopping during this pandemic. Forgotten grocery store needs (wine, beer, drinks, ice cream, fruit, candy, chips, canned goods, cleaning supplies etc) without the exorbitant price: We live nearby and find ourselves in need of a household items ever so often. Rather than walking all the way down to Target or Trader Joe's, J&M provides our forgotten needs. From limes and wine to chips to sour cream, the cozy store has pretty much all one can desire for an evening in and satisfy our palates. The prices are not high as one would expect from a convenience store and totally reasonable. Friendly service. The service here is friendly. I stood there and asked where the rest of my items were and he said I already took them, which I did not.
