A good 7-Eleven and conveniently located near I-15. I stopped here before heading down the 15 to pick up a 12 oz cup of 100% Columbian coffee, some powdered mini doughnuts, the 7-Eleven brand, and lotto quick pick. The Columbian brew was piping hot, smooth, and with that great robust flavor a good Columbian coffee offers, and not bad for $1 and some change. Their brand named powdered mini doughnut are as good, and some might even argue, even better than the brands you find at the larger super markets. Anyways, they were some good eating for the road and with my coffee. This 7-Eleven has a Red Box for your movie nights or gaming needs, propane tank exchange, and Citibank co-op ATM. Oh yes, don't forget that super 7-Eleven coffee island. The lady at the counter was alright. She did not show much of a sense of a humor but was friendly enough.

Be careful thinking this 7-Eleven is open 24 seven because it's not they pick their own hours lately. 1/28/21 2am

Inside is cute and love the seating areas. They have pick up/mobile order, makes for convenient ordering! Ive brought friends here in the past and have always gotten positive feedback afterwards. Recently though, it feels like it's lost a little of its charm. The menu needs updating because with all the crossed out items on the board, it looks a little low end and like they're out of things. But they also always seem to be out of multiple items when I come these days. There's no food options any more most of the time, but the display cases remain. And seating... it feels like they got rid of 1-2 tables and the tables that were outside. There never seems to be enough seating so it's both cramped while also empty looking now. They have these side benches to sit on, but no one ever uses them because they're not super comfortable or good to chat with anyone with. Also, the bathroom. It's usually open, but twice now Ive been in there where there's zero toilet paper or the paper towel dispenser is out, but someone has just put a roll on top to tear at your own will. I loved this place so I hate saying more negative than good. The drinks remain amazing, but for a spot that is so popular, it's losing some of its own charm.

I think my family and I might have found our go to coffee shop. My vacationing daughter requested…read morethat I treat her to a morning cup of joe, which made me do a double take because she should be treating her old man, but as many parents can attest, our kiddos will always be our babies, so of course I acquiesced. My baby girl has visited Compa Coffee Roasters (CCR) one time previously, she enjoyed it, and requested that we stop by. This was my first visit to this coffee spot and after just the very first sip of my iced Salted Maple Latte extra sweet, CCR will be seeing this Filipino giant again. Compa Coffee Roasters is located in Rancho Bernardo specifically off the 15 freeway and the Rancho Bernardo Road exit. If you're driving north, make a right after you exit and head east. If you're driving south, make a left after you exit and head east. The coffee joint can be found in The Mercado outdoor shopping center with its anchor store being Barons Market. Besides Barons, Kangnam KBBQ, Pho Cao Dao, Xuan Tailoring & Alterations, Pizza Hut, Fed Ex, and one of our fave boba drink places, Presotea all reside here. There is plenty of parking, but when we visited, it was busy, so you might have to park far. CCR was jam packed when we entered, so obviously I'm a little late to the party of knowing what an awesome coffee spot this is. It's got a really cool vibe with wooden sun art on their walls, flora throughout the space, and the focal point being the diligent baristas doing their thing. There are wooden tables, bench seating, bar top with no bar seating, and plenty of outdoor seating. From the gentleman at the register and the baristas, the staff were friendly and had a positive disposition. Their merchandise was really cool especially their logo tshirts that looked like an old school San Diego Padres logo. I remember when Compa Coffee Roasters had just opened in Rancho Bernardo and I had been meaning to visit, but never got around to checking it out. Blessed that it was my coffee aficionado baby girl who enticed me to go and she was spot on CCR being a good coffee spot. CCR opens at 7am and closes at 6pm. Besides coffee, the java joint serves sandwiches, afternoon eats, variety of food, bagels, toasts, beer, and wine. When I talked to friendly gentleman behind the register, I asked what he recommended for someone who enjoys sweet coffee. He provided several recommendations including their Salted Maple Latte, which is what my daughter had planned to order. I kindly asked for an iced Salted Maple Latte, requesting it to be sweeter, and looked forward to trying my first CCR coffee drink. It was delicious from the first sip to the last, so much so that I savored that drink for quite awhile, which is abnormal for me. That's how tasty it was. It was the perfect sweetness for me, my taste buds could distinguish the coffee, and it was really flavorful. If you're into sweet coffee drinks, I highly recommend CCR's iced Salted Maple Latte extra sweet. You're welcome!!! I'm thankful to God for being able to spend quality time with my baby girl treating her to some cup of Joes from Compa Coffee Roasters. I'm also blessed that our new go to coffee spot is just around the corner from our home.

Both coffees were really good, which is the main point of coming to a coffee shop. Really smooth espresso, no burnt flavor, and good body + profile. The staff are really nice, despite the place sometimes getting super busy and hectic. There's always a bright, inviting vibe and atmosphere in the store. Tons of people use this place for remote work, too, so the Wi-Fi is probably pretty good. They also have a large food menu.

Ok this place is legit delicious…read more The entrance is easy to locate in the plaza and you can order from the computer or a real human person, I know right. A real human, what? It's a cozy spot. The people who work there just seem happy and work well together. They're friendly and patient with me as I navigated their menu items. I could not decide what I wanted so I accidentally ordered 3 drinks: Roasted Oolong Milk Tea Osmanthus Oolong Milk Tea 3Q Milk Tea The roasted oolong was for my sister so I don't know how it was but she wanted another one so that should tell you all you need to know. lol I love floral teas and Osmanthus oolong is my new favorite and it delivered. I opted for the agar aka crystal pearls and that was the right choice for the floral tea. I also accidentally drank the 3Q tea after and while not my favorite, I appreciated all the toppings and the tea was still good. The boba is super unique! It's got a nice, chewy kinda texture. I have never had boba like this before and I wish I had blacked out and gotten double boba.

I grew up in this area, so it's kind of interesting seeing how this exact spot keeps changing. I…read moreremember it being a Rita's Italian Ice at one point, then a bubble waffle shop, and now it's BoBaPoP Tea Bar. Honestly, boba fits the area way better now, especially since more tea spots have been popping up around here. I stopped in for a quick drink and there was a steady flow of people coming in and out, which is always a good sign. Inside is clean and modern, very simple but put together. You can order at a kiosk or go up to the cashier, which makes it easy depending on what you prefer. The menu has a solid variety. All your usual milk teas, fruit teas, slushies, and blended drinks, plus a good amount of toppings. They were also advertising a matcha ice spinner which caught my attention, so I'll probably come back to try that and see how their matcha quality is. I went with a mango fruit tea at 75% sweetness and added boba. I sat outside while waiting, they have limited indoor seating but a couple tables outside which is nice. The drink came out in about five minutes, so pretty quick. First thing I noticed was there were actual mango pieces in the drink, not just syrup. That was a nice surprise and added a good texture. They were soft enough to go through the straw too, so it didn't feel annoying to drink. Flavor wise, I do wish I went lower on the sweetness. Even at 75% it was still a bit too sweet for me, but that's more personal preference. The part that didn't really hit was the boba. It was a little mushy and didn't have that chewy texture I usually look for. It also had this slightly artificial honey taste that kind of overpowered the drink a bit. Not terrible, just not my favorite. It's a solid and convenient spot for the area. Good variety, quick service, and a nice setup. I'd come back, but probably switch up the toppings next time.

You order and pay up at the counter, they hand you a number stand, then hunt for a place to sit. There were groups of people hanging out and "brunching", while others were alone working in laptops. Honestly, I wouldn't be able to concentrate in there with all the noise. Anyhoo, I ordered the benedict, which came with a side of potatoes. Looked very appetizing! Unfortunately, I found everything to be on the salty side, especially the potatoes. My friend ordered their breakfast "burrito" filled with veggies and a protein of sorts (please look up the menu to find out what is inside). The burrito was more like a wrap, so not your typical burrito, but it was tasty! It came with a spicy sauce on the side and fruit. It didn't really need the sauce because the burrito was pretty flavorful; but if you wanted a extremely slight kick, add the sauce. I also took home a rolled Nutella pastry. It was very rich, flaky, and drizzling with Nutella. I ate it (only half) when I got home and I remembered the guy asking if I wanted it warmed up. I should have done that. Overall, it is a great place to meet up with friends and chat up a storm. Trust me, no one will hear your conversations. Would I come back? Sure. Although it is pretty far, I would probably try one of their drinks and something else on the menu, and maybe ask for no salt on the potatoes.
