I wanted breakfast, they had good choices, but I chose a chicken salad sandwich with lettuce, tomatoes and bacon. It came with two pickles and some chips. First time coming here. The inside of the place was definitely nice, offering napkins, salt,…read morepepper, and different types of sugar at a small table near where you order. Menu was big- definitely a lot of coffees and lattes to browse through. I ordered the large Cereal Milk latte and the Big Commute Burrito. I wasn't a fan of sausage, so asked if I could replace it with bacon for no additional charge, and the server allowed it (also got no KCK ketchup). Always nice when they allow you to customize your orders or throw in substitutions for no additional charge! The big commute burrito came with scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, ham, cheddar blend, hash browns, and KCK ketchup normally on a wheat wrap. It definitely filled me up - not a bad deal at $13. Was a well-packed burrito that tasted great. I also liked that it came in a wheat wrap, which tasted great and potentially offers some added nutritional benefits over a typical white-flour tortilla. The cereal milk latte, which was described as having espresso, cereal milk, and brown sugar...I thought it could've been better tbh. Didn't get much of a cereal milk experience from it (but I appreciate their attempt). $7.35 for a 20oz drink is a bit expensive as well imo. Might try the Bananas Foster Iced Coffee if I were to go here again.

In pursuit of coffee karma, do not pass up the encyclopedia of locally produced foodstuffs and take aways. Chocolate cordial brownie bites were a similarly tasty mashup of cocoa that renounce the typical overly-sugared pound of pre-made brownie found in most cafes for a smooth and modest portioned flavor. As other Yelpers have stated, regular open mic nights provide another way to experience the eclectic, slightly schizophrenic cafe/music/store/breakfast space incarnate in its ocean of tables, fluorescent lighting, and folding chairs perhaps just waiting for a bit more patronage to find their more comfortable fixed couch and ambient lighting offspring. As owners stay, "come in, have a seat, and enjoy a delicious cup of coffee." Hard to critique such a personal and welcoming commitment to coffee and connection.

The biggest thing with Pressed is that the food is very consistent. I've been here quite a few times and it's rare to have a bad meal. To eat, I got the avocado toast. To me, this lacked any real flavor. I always feel like avocado toast is better mashed. It came with a side of a hot relish type spread, that was the highlight of the dish. The bread was bland and lacked any real flavor. I would give it a 2.5/5 My wife got the avocado toast with a sunny side up egg on top. She thought it was good. The egg added some depth of flavor. We both shared a cinnamon roll that was smothered in a cream cheese frosting. This was very good! My wife got a brown sugar ice coffee that was good but not great. The fresh pressed juice was very good. Definitely try out one of those. All in all, this place is solid. I think their menu is too large and as a direct result, no one single food item pops. I'd like to see an emphasis on more flavors in their foods. This has potential to be a notch or two better than it currently is. 7/10. Four stars because 3/5 is too low!

It's confusing why this place has such low ratings. I get that the items in the market can be…read morepricey, but they are primarily imported from Italy and a good quality (like Locatelli cheese & taralli crackers). They also have interesting items like filled gnocchi. I've been a couple of times now and had a very good brunch with my family. My breakfast pizza (without prosciutto to make it vegetarian) was excellent! It has cheese, spinach, hollaindaise sauce and a runny egg, with a nice chewy crust. I ate the whole thing which was very filling and I easily could have taken half home (it's pretty messy so more of a fork and knife deal). I've also had a vegetarian kale salad with chickpeas candied walnuts cranberries & cheese. I also got a side of roasted sweet potatoes. One person's eggs Benedict was a little overcooked, but others liked the frittata, the HUGE chicken parm (with a whole ball of burrata on top), and sandwiches on focaccia (my husband couldn't even finish half of the Salumeria). I also noted the bread that comes w/the hummus & ciabatta loaves looked great. The chocolate espresso cake and the apple crumb bar from the bakery were pretty good. We got the sfogliatella to go, which wasn't crunchy on the outside sadly (maybe it wasn't fresh?), but had a nice citrus ricotta filling and wasn't too sweet.the nitro cold brew was too strong for me, but the iced Americano was good. The Semolina raisin bread that they use for French toast wasn't for me. The classes offered sound interesting (like pasta alla Norma) and are reasonably priced. There is cute inside & outside seating with live music on Saturday for brunch (it can get a bit loud). They don't currently take reservations. The shops nearby are nice too!

Watch for cars driving around the building before crossing! The two staff members we encountered were pleasant with a smile on their face and cheerful. I ordered a hot, house blend coffee with milk, so easy and quick. They also offer a dark roast if that's your preference. The coffee was a bit bitter, but not too much (as compared to another recent take away coffee I had) so that's a win with a nice amount of milk. The drive-thru lane took a couple of minutes. Nothing crazy. As the order and pick-up windows are only a car length apart, the order is made just before you receive it, so if someone has a large order, the line would move a little bit slower. It wasn't a busy time of the day and we were only the 4th car in line so it was a pretty quick visit. If we find ourselves in need of caffeine while in the area, I would try this Aroma Joe's again.
