I preordered all the cream puff flavors this time because the selection is usually pretty picked over by the time I get there in the afternoon. My favorite is the taro salted egg yolk. It reminds me of a Chinese salted egg yolk pastry in cream puff form, and that sweet and salty combination is ridiculously good. The matcha and black sesame hojicha are also favorites. What makes these special is how different each flavor tastes. The fillings have their own combinations and layers of flavor, so trying several never feels repetitive. They're also light and creamy without that heavy, greasy feeling lingering in your mouth. Don't overlook the kimchi pastry with the slightly runny egg yolk. The combination sounded a little unusual, but it ended up being one of my favorite things here. Savory, a little sweet, tangy, and just so good. Definitely preorder if you want a full selection. While we waited we decided to explore, peek into their tea rooms, admit their tea sets displayed all throughout their boutique. When we thought we reached the end, there was more! We came in to redeem our milk teas and came out appreciating the artistry that goes into brewing and serving. The tea house is on the 2nd floor of Camellia Square. The parking lot can get full as it's shared with other businesses in the plaza. There is a garage as well. Our milk teas were perfect. I love oolong tea in general.
