We were able to book and pick up a cargo van for the entire day for a flat rate (plus mileage), which I know isn't always standard at other UHaul locations. After we returned our van, I realized I had multiple charges on my account that said I had the van for 2 days longer than I actually did and amounted to a total of nearly $100+ than what it should've been. This is usually something that would drag my review down to 1 star, but the way it was handled was impressive - especially considering the terrible reviews this place already has. I filed a report with corporate UHaul before the holidays, not expecting to hear anything for awhile. The general manager, Cheryl, called back the next day and handled it all on the spot within minutes. Definitely do not ever expect this type of service from a place like UHaul. Will come back if I ever have moving needs again!!

I called again to refute the charge & they said tank removal would cost me $150; 50% more than a year of rent conveniently. I should send them a past due STORAGE fee. This is America and I will choose who provides my services. They did not acknowledge my first conversation, their story NOW was PW owner "retired"; red flag! Past due charges after I refuse any business with them and tell them to retrieve the tank! SP does not own that contract u had with PW. Shop around. Buy a 60 gallon tank or two and fill at a station. Have a handyman assist. SP's practices will have you paying 2 to 3 times or EVEN MORE than necessary. They downplayed all their negative reviews; red flag! THIS IS AMERICA & unfortunately capitalism can mean the big invisible corporation will force the 5 star local businesses out & jack prices up each time they gobble up another. Self Protection is what SP should stand for; BUYER BEWARE. Thank goodness for YELP! I was lucky to have read up on SP. The sound of my head popping out of nowhere land was LOUD. I have kept getting large bills for delivery of propane from Blue Star. When I saw the bill via email on 2/13/25 that Blue Star was going to be charging $266.18 automatically (we have auto pay), I emailed and told them to stop service until this could be explained to me. Instead, they charged this amount and then in March 13 I received yet another bill for $444.82!! How can this be? It seems to me they would care to go over all this with me as requested, rather than simply just continuing to charge me automatically again and again. I trusted Acme when they owned the company, but I do note trust Blur Star.

After the inconvenience and stress of having to change plans during a move, we finally obtained a truck from another location on Saturday. I also rented moving blankets that I ended up not using. Before returning the truck, I called and was told I could receive a refund for the unused blankets as long as it was handled while the store was open or after the truck was checked in. However, when I returned the truck, I was told that wasn't possible, that it wasn't company policy, and that the employee had no idea who would have told me that. The issue wasn't even the $20. What was unacceptable was the way I was treated. The employee told me that maybe I needed a different profession if I was arguing over $20. That comment was rude, unprofessional, and completely unnecessary. Moving is expensive and stressful, and every dollar matters. To make matters worse, we returned the truck with more gas than required, so we actually spent extra money there as well. The lack of communication, failure to honor what I was told over the phone, and disrespectful customer service left a very negative impression. I expected much better from U-Haul.
