Every time I've been to one of these, I get a really nice greeting, the guy today was from India, very polite to everyone that walked in. I talk to him for a second, since I've been to India, he was extremely nice. I think his name was Bahn or something similar. If I am not mistaken, you can also use your Smith's card here for discounts on gas. So if you don't have a Smith's card, get one as it is definitely my favorite place to shop for all of the low price groceries.

The store was mostly devoid of customers, except for the occasional ones walking in to pay for gas, so I was able to leisurely select and assemble my hot dogs. Unlike Maverik (my favorite gas station hot dogs), Golden Gate didn't have the condiment bar with the sauerkraut, so I just had to get packets of mayo, mustard, ketchup and onions with my Bahama Mama hot dogs. Bahama Mamas were my favorite brand of hot dogs aside from Nathan's but this variety of Bahama Mamas were my from Golden Gate tasted a little different; it tasted a bit like a beef stix. I also noted the hot dogs buns were a little stale too. All of it was still edible (my standards aren't exactly that high when it comes to gas station hot dogs) plus the cashier was super nice; she bagged my hot dogs separately from my cans of Coke Zero. That was truly very thoughtful of her and I appreciate the extra care she took for my purchases; so, overall, I had a positive interaction at Golden Gate gas station.

If you're an upstanding citizen, surely you'll understand why that's necessary :) That said, the employees here have always been kind, and your standard convenience store selection is decent, too!
