She interrupted me, and I finished what I was saying. I asked her to come to the window. She did not. She could have gotten all the requested info from the drive-through window area. She got the info she asked for and then came to the window where she stated, "If you had asked me to come to the window, I would have." I did ask her. She just wanted to argue and give me a hard time all the while she HELD onto my debit card and prescription. Smh. I finally rolled up my window to stop her non-stop instigatative behavior. She got the point, and THEN she sent my card and prescription through the drive-thru window. I changed pharmacies. I admit I was not the model customer. It seemed she wanted to continue arguing because she held onto my card and prescription instead of simply sending it through the drive-through window. Within 2 days, I transfered my prescriptions elsewhere and filed a complaint. She is the heavy set brunette. Steer clear of her. You've been warned. The pharmacist on duty that day backed her up and was foul. If you can't handle a customer service job, leave. If customers don't like the service at Walgreens, don't shop there again. I won't.

What are the odds. Did you know the first point of sales credit card check out scanners were made by Verifone, a Hawaiian company back in 1981? I feel like that's been plenty of time for people to get used to them, but maybe I was just impatient. So I saw someone getting checked out at the photo counter (speaking of vestiges of 1981), she watched me walk up to the counter, finished the sales with the gentleman she was with (was he getting glossy prints from his Kodak Instamatic? Did you know that in 1981 Poloroid sued Kodak for copying their instant film idea? It took Poloroid 5 years in court to win that one), made eye contact...and left the counter! So, I had to return to the long line, which was now one person even longer. This wasn't the fault of the young lady working the counter, she was pretty efficient, patient and improbably cheerful. The store is clean, bright and typically stocked. Unlike CVS, they still sell cancer causing addictive drugs here, which I suppose is a positive if you still smoke but as an ex-smoker this really bothers me.

It was founded in 1965 in my home state of WI, specifically, Eau Claire (have fun pronouncing that all you non-Wisconsinites). A Long John is a yeast/raised doughnut that is typically iced and sometimes filled with custard, cream, or some other filling. The term is primarily utilized in the Midwest, Texas, and Canada. Other parts of the U.S. refer to Long Johns as Bar Doughnuts, Finger Doughnut, or Cream Stick (that one sounds kind of dirty). The variety I have from Kwik Trip has vanilla icing and a paltry amount of sprinkles. This was an average doughnut in every way. My biggest complaints are it clearly needs more sprinkles and personally, I feel the icing could also have been more copious to cover more of the surface area. Just okay. Boss brought these in as a Friday treat. My top doughnut shops: 1. Donut Bar (San Diego) 2. Pinkbox Doughnuts (Las Vegas) 3. Everglazed (Disney Springs) 4. Cranky Al's (MKE) 5. Krispy Kreme (various locations in different states) Doughboy_Food_Reviews

Glazer Doughnut with Chocolate Drizzle: Kwik Trip is a convenience store/gas station chain located…read moreprimarily in the upper Mid-West. It was founded in 1965 in my home state of WI, specifically, Eau Claire (have fun pronouncing that all you non-Wisconsinites). It wasn't until 2003 that Kwik Trip introduced their Glazer Doughnuts. I couldn't find a lot of info on Glazers, but they appear to simply be the Kwik Trip version of a glazed doughnut. The Glazer that I got my hands on is a yeast/raised doughnut, covered in a sweet glaze, and has a chocolate drizzle on top. There's a pale/whitish appearance to the doughnut since the layer of glaze is so thick. With an appearance like that it reminded me a bit of a zebra or oddly enough, the Warboys from Mad Max. My glazer was satisfyingly sweet, and the chocolate drizzle was a nice touch as it was not simply for aesthetics, but did add some milk chocolate flavor. Warming it in the microwave for a few seconds elevated it to near Krispy Kreme status (aka perfection). Even though it's an ersatz Krispy Kreme Original Glazed Doughnut (to be fair, all other glazed doughnuts in my experience are), Kwik Trip's version is still tasty enough to be Doughboy approved My top doughnut shops: 1. Donut Bar (San Diego) 2. Pinkbox Doughnuts (Las Vegas) 3. Everglazed (Disney Springs) 4. Cranky Al's (MKE) 5. Krispy Kreme (various locations in different states) doughboy_food_reviews

Does any gas station really deserve 5 stars?? Normally I would say no, but I'll make an exception…read morein this case. I've been gassing up at this Speedway since I started driving 25 years ago. Through three remodels, two Middle East wars, 2 Bush presidents, and about 10 different cars, this Speedway has always been here for me. I stop only occasionally here now as I only work in the area and do not live in Cudahy any more. Last week, I had an experience that really impressed me in a positive way. I stopped for gas, a paper, and juice first thing in the morning and then went about my day. In the evening, I got a call from my bank, telling me that I had dropped my ATM card at the gas station and that the manager (Trevor) was holding on to it for me. 12 hours later, and I hadn't even noticed. It was awesome that someone took it straight to the manager to hold on to, and that he was thoughtful enough to call the number on the back of the card and report it. That day was pay day for me, so someone probably could have filled the tanks of a few semi-trucks before I even knew it was missing. Thanks to Trevor for looking out for me, and thanks to the people of Cudahy for being honest!!

The staff is always friendly and that is one of the few pluses to this location. The store is cluttered. They've tried to cram literally every thing into a small space. The store feels claustrophobic, and I am not a claustrophobic person. You always have to dodge stand alone displays and other customers, and pity the person who has to enter the store when there's a line by the register. They really need to redesign the lay out of the store so the foot traffic flows better. Maybe designate one door as and entrance and the other as an exit? Having a line of people by the registers that an entering customer has to try to get by is off-putting. They can do better, but for now they're failing their customers.

If I spend anymore time at Speedway convenience stores, I'm going to have to get a trench coat and a tall, skinny, lewd-talking friend to lean up against the front of the store with me and get ourselves involved in various hijinks that are followed by nonsensical words such as "Snoogans". That being said, just another older, run of the mill Speedway. The workers are nice, but the parking and pumps are tight and the store itself is somewhat limited on options. Gas also tends to be higher priced here than at other Speedways in the area. More of a two and a half than a three.
