In this local store they have the Bob Marley Tea's which are very hard to find in gas stations or other liquors. I don't drink alcohol however I think it's the Beer Cave is pretty cool. I was told that one of my prescriptions wouldn't be available until Monday. I specifically asked what I was supposed to do about being in pain from Friday all the way until Monday, and the pharmacist essentially told me I needed to go to the second window and speak with another pharmacist so they could transfer it somewhere else. I went to the second window, only to be told that they actually had the medication there. So why wasn't I simply told that in the first place? Then I was told to wait another 15 minutes for the second prescription. When you are standing there in significant pain, having to go from one window to another and then wait around because the information wasn't communicated properly is incredibly frustrating. What made the experience even worse was that the first pharmacist barely explained my medication to me. I left without a proper explanation of what the prescription was for, how it was supposed to help, or what important precautions I should know. I had to find out the basic information myself afterward. When someone comes into a pharmacy with severe pain, communication and patient counseling should not be an afterthought. I shouldn't have to go home and research my own prescriptions because the pharmacist couldn't take a moment to explain them. The whole experience felt disorganized, unnecessarily difficult, and completely lacking in compassion.
