I really want to like this place but sadly, I generally get a Regina George vibe. I doubt it's…read moreintentional which is why it's worth a conversation. I come here only on Sunday mornings and often, when there is usually no line. For two years I have been doing this , I have received ZERO eye contact, no warmth, no engagement from this shift's crew--until today. That's why it mattered when one Asian barista this morning (who wasn't the one to take my order) warmly looked at me, smiled, and said something kind. It came right after her coworker placed my drink down, mumbled my name, and they turned their back on me when I thanked them -- but weren't doing anything else! Same energy when they took my order minutes earlier even when I was the only person in line. Like I owe them a favor for being at their counter! I've watched them and their colleagues treat me this way consistently. Mind you, I either only order a latte, a matcha, or a pastry. The worst part is that this treatment feels selective. I''ve seen this same crew be friendly, laugh, and engage with other customers--but from what I've seen for 2 years is that it seems only a certain type of walk-in gets this reception. It suck's to be flatly received and then notice the person behind me get a smile and a conversation, even if it's obvious that they're not a regular here ... at least not on Sundays. :) Again, thank you to that barista who broke the pattern for me today because I finally felt seen. I added a 3rd star out of gratitude. :) If you've found this crew non-selectively friendly, I'd genuinely like to know what day you come--because my Sunday morning experience has been consistently selective. I choose to be optimistic. And to management, let's talk about this.

Sometimes I look for a good green tea and the only green tea they have has fruit in it. Matcha isn't good. It's on par with Dunkin Donuts or Starbucks Matcha. I had the Matcha strawberry drink and it was too sweet. Good luck finding a seat that isn't occupied by high school students using this place as a study session.

I got a large iced jelly donut latte and a large iced sticky rice latte. The large jelly donut comes with 4 shots and the sticky rice 3 shots but the barista had an extra shot so added it to the sticky. The barista offered to do less than the standard shot amount so less caffeine is an option. 2 16oz iced lattes each with 4 shots totaled $16 and change - A STEAL. Both lattes were delicious. I really loved the jelly donut. Tastes exactly like a jelly donut! The sticky rice has a nice coconuty caramel flavor despite having no caramel. The barista was so nice friendly. I live about 20 minutes away but I think I'll be making the drive to try more of the menu. This place turns into a brewery at night which I also want to try! Such a unique and fun business concept.

So it does not say the morning roast on it. It is actually a pub. That was the one piece. I wish I knew cause I walked around aimlessly looking for it. They were super friendly and explained everything to me when I walked in and the coffee was delicious. I ordered a shaken espresso with Pandan syrup. It's essentially a more natural lighter version of vanilla if you're unfamiliar with what pandan is. It was absolutely excellent and I actually really loved it and it's a place that I would come by frequently to order from. They also had a lot of really high-quality tea that I wish I was able to take advantage of it usually takes me a while to finish my drink and I finished this one in like a second.

Finally got to experience this place after hearing of it for more than 2+ years! I've heard at…read moretimes this Coffee spot can be pretty packed, so I feel like I came on a really good day. First off: Service. I told the employee that this was my first time there, and they were more-than-happy to help me make a decision for my order. Patient and walked me through. Second: The Food. Let's get into it. 1) Cassava Latte ($7.50) - I was so pleasantly suprised at this drink; described as "(i)nspired by the Filipino dessert cake, made with condensed milk and coconut." The first sip, and I was intrigued! It was perfectly sweet, and the perfect mix of that coconut-dessert taste that cassava typically delivers! It tasted genuine, if that's possible. 2) Sinigang Croquette ($5.00) - This was interesting. Described as "Pork and Gabi (taro) shaped into a patty, rolled in Japanese bread crumbs, and deep fried. Served with our in-house sawsawan (dipping sauce)", it hit all the right notes. To be honest? $5.00 for 1 felt a bit steep. I'd pay $7.50 for two, though! 3) Boy Bawang Shio Pan ($7.50) - This was the most curious of all my purchases. Described as an "(i)n-house salt bread rolled in garlic and corn crumbs, filled with roasted garlic butter, topped with corn cheese whip. Inspired by the popular Filipino snack: Boy Bawang. THIS ITEM I SING ITS PRAISES. I am an absolute lover of the Boy Bawang Garlic Flavor Corn Snack --- much more pungent than anything Corn Nuts could ever offer. This Shio Pan absolutely delivered with its roasted garlic flavor! And as soon as you take a few bites ---- you get hit with that roasted garlic butter --- and let me tell you, they are not shy about their filling! Absolute master class --- but it's only for a limited run. You should definitely try! Third: Ambiance - The Cafe is quaint --- and has a seating area that could maybe fit between 18-24 people? It's just along the side of the business, but I managed to get a table for myself. Ayala, you did not disappoint! Can't wait to try your Sisig Flatbread for the next round!

I had the sisig flatbread and the pork croquette. The sisig flatbread had very unique and complex flavors. I thought it was very creative. The croquette was fresh and tasty, but it was truly the sauce that came with it that was the star of the show. It bold and vinegary and tasted great with the sisig flat bread as well. I tried a bit of my friend's pandan waffle and it was quite tasty! I could really taste the pandan. Now the bad. The ube latte was mediocre. I asked for mine with matcha, but I really couldn't even taste the matcha. I think next time I might try their other drinks to see if there is a difference. However, I was really expecting better. Overall: I'd say the food is better than the drinks, which is a bit of a disappointment because I was hoping for both to be out of this world. The service was good and the staff was very kind. I also enjoyed the vibe of the restaurant as well.
