Look this is a wawa. There are plenty around. The standard fare from hot foods to convenience store goodies and lots of coffees. Every now and then you stumble upon some unique flavored chips that you haven't seen before. This location also has gas. What makes this review-worthy: The staff. There are a few gems here that are extra polite and always have a smile no matter the time or the weather. This goes for both the inside staff and outside staff. Wawa Stores seem to be sprouting up all over the place and that's just fine by me. It just means that no matter where I am or where I'm going there's always a place nearby to grab some convenient deliciousness. Case in point this solid spot here in Springfield where the never-ending flow of freshly brewed Coffee is always at the ready as well as some super tasty made-to-order food options to go along with it.   Service here is friendly and efficient whenever I'm grabbing my stuff no matter what time of day or how busy they always seem to have great attitudes. I'm finding that one recurring theme with this chain seems to be that no matter which location I'm at, they all are pretty consistent with their service, value, and overall convenience while their competitors differ from store to store and sometimes fall flat. Ordered Wawa delivery to the hospital. The order came in a timely manner. I ordered the philly cheesesteak and it was meh. The bread came soggy so I suspect it was sitting for a bit before being delivered. The flavor of the meat was rather bland and I couldn't really taste any onions although I could see them. We stopped at this location after leaving the Short Hills mall. It was the night before Valentine's Day, in the store was buzzing with so many customers. It took a little longer for sandwiches to be made, it seemed everybody in Jersey was hungry. Coffee was next, how can you visit Wawa without coffee? We noticed most of the coffee carafes, due to the cold weather, everyone wanted some. So the nice manager lady came and brewed the flavours we wanted. Meanwhile, my special order sando was being crafted pleasantly, even poppping over the the coffee area to check with me to make sure that it was correct. Great customer service. The store was fully stocked with snacks, drinks and other goods as well. I even snagged a new mask, I'm just saying, I love the soft, cotton masks from Wawa. I am sure will stop by this location again if we're in the area. read more

Wawa is my favorite convenience store. I was so happy when I found out this location opened up, as it's only 5 minutes from my job. My favorite thing about wawa, is their coffees. They have a great selection and lots of different flavors. I really enjoy that you can make your own coffee the way you want it, adding any amount of milk or creamer. The breakfast sandwiches to go are pretty good as well. They definitely help with the morning food craving. Wawa also makes delicious sub sandwiches; can't go wrong ordering any of their selections. This location has plenty of parking and lots of gas station pumps. My favorite spot to stop in the morning before work! read more

Coffee decent. Way out of proportion for the area, it looks like a Turnpike rest stop. Can be a bitch to enter and exit. I mostly go for the free air. Gas prices aren't great either. read more

So I decided to try this out as an excited Philadelphian.. I'm going to keep my rating at a 2 until they teach their staff how to make a decent cheesesteak. I've been to Wawas across the northeast have never received a more pitiful portion meat in my hoagie.. Below is a complaint I send to WAWA Corporate as I received poor service from one of their hourly managers at this Springfield, NJ location. It is of great concern one of your hourly manager's response to me during a coffee run yesterday. I frequently buy WAWA coffee via doordash, and as I was passing by, wanted to order in person. I had two iced coffees (large) and a bag of peanut super-size m&ms as part of my check-out order. It was my understanding via a promo shown on the screen that all ice coffees were $2. The cashier mentioned she was not aware of the promotion and called her shift supervisor. That part is fine, although cashiers should be knowledgeable on promotions held at the store. Further training may be needed for this employee. Her shift supervisor said to me "We have never run a promotion like that". That was very offensive to me as it shows poor customer service and she had not yet investigated the issue. I pointed to the screen where the ad appeared, and she finds the promotion of $2 any ice coffee. She says to me - Oh that is handcrafted. Corporate does not count these as part of the promo. I made these iced coffees by hand and you could argue they were "handcrafted". She would not offer the alternative pricing of $2 despite the coffees themselves only being worth $3.50. She lost a sale that day because she was condescending and not customer focused. I am very disappointed in the training of your managers. It is my understanding per your website that doing things right, delighting customers, and doing the right thing are part of your core values. I did not see this in my transaction. read more

This particular wawa used to be my favorite, they had the best sandwiches. Well, not anymore, if you can help it, avoid Odia making your sandwich. Today was the second time she made my sandwich and both times she got them wrong and then had an attitude when I told her they were wrong. Both sandwiches were disgusting and sloppy thrown together. Place Wawa is right next to my job so I go here a lot, I havent seen the young man that used to make the sandwiches but he did a great job, BRING HIM BACK AND GET RID OF ODIA!!!! read more

I bought a cup of coffee and a breakfast sandwich, sausage,egg and cheese on a bagel, this morning about 6:30 am. I made the mistake of buying it from the rack near the cash register. I thought it would of been made today. My guess it was leftover from yesterday. The bagel was hard / stale, tough to chew through. the egg was very over cooked, a shade of brown ! Wawa store 900. My life is now complete. When I was in Wayne, PA in 200, I first discovered this mecca of everything convenient. In my four decades on earth I had only known 7-Eleven, Cumberland Farms, and Sunoco--premade sandwiches, overpriced gas and stale Slim Jims. But then I moved directly accross from one. It became my home, my life, my kitchen, my Tastycake headquarters. I loved it so much I went to work for one, making breakfast sandwiches during the morning rush. After moving to Virginia I spent more time at Wawa than I did at home. Sodas, Herrs chips, Tastycake, meatball hoagies, Wawa strawberry lemonade, cheap gas. It was also a place that gave me a sense of late night New York while being stuck in hohum boring Virginia. After moving back to Summit I had to go to Maplewood for the closest Wawa. Often I'd get a late nite Uber there and it cost more for the roundtrip ride than I paid for my swag bag full of Tastycakes and soft pretzels. But now, finally, the dream is a reality. I remember seeing the sign. "Coming soon Wawa". But no date was set. Then. This morning. It was like God texted me. "Wawa has its grand opening today" I was so excited. The text was not from God but from my sister. I jumped out of bed and litetally walked down the hill in my pajamas. The store is about two miles from my home but the walk is easy and the unwavering excitement to go into the store helped me pass the time. I was also able to get the exercise I needed before consuming a 6 inch Italian hoagie. When I saw the big red inflated ballons screaming Store "900" I was moved to tears. This was the 900th Wawa opened. The floors were spotless. Sanitizer pumps were at each entrance. Small sanitizer bottles were placed all over the store. The counters were gleaming. Employees and managers were all cleaning. Sandwich makers were diligently working and preparing meals. Everyone had on their PPD and were practicing social distancing. They were super efficient. Every station at the store was clean and organized--coffee, sandwich making, cashiers, gas agents, and delivery station. All were perfect. The Herrs chips and Tastycake areas were stocked full. The fee free PNC atms had security shields between each machine. Very nice touch. I know this store will be booming this summer. It's a nice pit stop before heading onto interstate 78 and GSP for all points south, the beach and Six Flags. Ice for under $3.00, PNC atms, Tastycake, Herrs Chips, Wawa Ice Cream, Wawa Orange Juice, coffee, candy, lottery and meatball hoagies. This is just perfection in every sense of the word. If there was one store this world needs this would be it. Congratulations Wawa on store #900. You have a fan for life. I love you. Always. read more

Just the Cuban coffee alone gets a 5 star rating! We had some breakfast burritos and loved them all

Blueberry coffee was amazing! Veggie hummus pita is delicious. Staff was helpful and everyone was happy. Nice store, very clean.
