First, they have increased their prices an average of 15% across the board this year on top of an already inflated price. Second, you get the same amount of coffee no matter what size you order, larger size just gets more ice and water. That's it. Third, they reduced their reward system from 2 stars per $1 to 1.7 stars per $1, which devalues your reward by 15%. They already have the worst customer loyalty reward system in the business, now you essentially have to buy 24 coffee drinks instead of 20 to get one free. So you typically would have to spend around $120 to get one reward drink. Most other reward systems give you 6th drink free after purchasing 5. So as you can see Starbucks is actually ripping us all off. they rely on their customer service, their propaganda. and their coffee to distract us from realizing they are actually the worst deal in town.
