As a late comer to this beloved cult brand I must say I get all the hype. For years I've heard all…read moreabout the company through a couple of my friends both whom lived and worked in the greater Boston area (not a the same time) They would say they don't miss the frigid winters but they missed the people, the food and they loved how you can buy New England Coffee here in the "suth" Interestingly, a few weeks ago I was visiting with a new neighbor that had just moved into the area in order to be closer to her grandchildren...also via Boston...was going to Publix where they had the NEC on BOGO (Buy one, get one free) she was saying her husband a retired Boston police officer will not drink anything else. To be honest I thought Bostonians were loyal Dunkin drinkers given that there is one on every block...but I guess I'm wrong... I've been drinking the Breakfast blend for a couple of weeks now and I like the nutty citrus flavor. It's not too acidic to drink on an empty stomach and it's pretty much fool proof...meaning you don't have to be award winning chef to be able to make this stuff right...some coffee brands you have to be super precise with the measurements otherwise it taste like pipe tobacco that's been soaked in moldy water for a week in the sun... Most days I don't make my own coffee at home only because I'm such a lousy coffee maker...seriously worse that the Circle K coffee down the street from you...but now that I have found NEC I'm happy to say my coffee maker has been seeing a lot more of me...after this bag, I think I'll try some of their other flavors...according to their website, they have least a dozen more...some of them includes (some items maybe seasonal) you can see all the flavors and varieties that they offer https://www.newenglandcoffee.com/shop/ 1. Okay -- it's time for me to review the S*nk. It's been a long time coming…read more I am both terrified and in love with the baristas at the S*nk. They don't like me and I'm a people pleaser which is a toxic combo but I think that's what you pay for at the S*nk. You also pay for the sometimes good but often kind of bad music that they play into the S*nk seating area which is lit with a red light? Kind of makes you feel like a rotisserie chicken which I guess is kinda cool. I like their drink names, so fun. Cinny Vanilly is so fun to say but a little foolish when you have to say it out loud. The best drink is probably the Hot Karl (but cold!). The Lucy in the Chai was just okay (the chai part is not great) and the Soylent Green was also just okay. I honestly think I subtracted one star because I know if I applied to be a barista here I would not get the job.
