However, in some instances, they have failed to have medication in stock despite the fact that the prescription was called in with notice that was far greater than the time required to obtain the medication. Also, one of the people I encountered while walking through the establishment did not wear a face mask, which makes me concerned for the health of those who will enter. There is still covid present, so people should remain vigilant and cautious at all times. I'm not sure if he's a staff or not, but they should still be wearing a facemask regardless.

Their pharmacy is understaffed and overworked. I feel badly for the people who work there. There is usually a line and people sometimes get rude with the pharmacist when it isn't really their fault. Corporate Walgreens should add more people. I will say the store is laid out well and is always neat and tidy. But, like the pharmacy, the other departments and checkout are understaffed leading to waits before you can leave. Personally, I like Walgreens for quick purchases. Unless I'm picking up a prescription, I find I go to other quick shops to get what I need and don't consider going to Walgreens.

I was NOT given any pseudoephedrine nor my transaction receipt. About 20 minutes later, Walgreens could not sell it to me because their system showed that I had already purchased pseudoephedrine at CVS. I checked NPLExAnswers.com myself, (using the reject receipt Walgreens had provided) and it shows a SUCCESSFUL CVS purchase at 12:02:17 PM and the Walgreens attempt BLOCKED at 12:23:25 PM. Even more concerning, when I contacted CVS Corporate, I was told I had supposedly purchased pseudoephedrine at this CVS around 10 AM--which is impossible because I had not even left my house at that time. The representative could not explain the discrepancy. I have filed formal complaints with CVS and IDFPR. I expect CVS to investigate how a regulated pseudoephedrine sale was recorded under my identification when I NEVER received or purchased the product and to correct the erroneous NPLEx record. This isn't simply poor customer service. An inaccurate regulated-product transaction was recorded under my identification, and that needs to be taken seriously. I also believe the Board should take a closer look at CVS's record-keeping and reporting systems for regulated products. When a system records a completed regulated-product sale that never actually occurred, that raises a legitimate compliance and patient-safety concern. At minimum, this incident warrants regulatory review, and if similar discrepancies exist, an audit may be appropriate.
