I never buy any hot foods from this place anymore, which is sad because I've been going to this 7-11 since I was a child. A few months ago, I asked the staff for a chicken roller to be heated because there were none on the hot rollers. Went home, ate it, extreme stomach pains and food poisoning. Felt like I was dying and almost went to the ER. Other than avoiding the hot foods, the staff is pretty nice and they have a nice selection of cold foods. Just.. don't get anything hot there. I miss an old employee at this establishment. I can't recall his name but he was Punjabi, very friendly, kind and always had a smile. Now. They hired a whole new staff of people who are always talking on the phone with their headphones on while working the register, they mock their customers in Hindi thinking that no one can tell what they're saying but everyone can. I've spoken with other customers and they agree. The only good thing is that they play great music in the store. Regardless. They all do their job effectively and productively. They're on top of it. Typical convenience store, nothing special about it. This store is a mere few blocks from my childhood home and I have fond memories of biking here as a kid for a Slurpee and a candy bar. Those were simple days where the biggest stress was choosing which flavor of Slurpee to order! Good times. This is one of the only convenience stores in the area and I've come here for dozens and dozens of purchases over the years. They carry a good selection of merchandise, and I enjoy their app where you can find some decent discounts. I've also appreciated that most of their staff had been employed at that very location for several years. I practically grew up with a handful of them! I have memories of one of the day clerks burning incense in the store and think of this location whenever I happen to smell patchouli oil! Always great, family-oriented service. Most of them have gone their separate ways and unfortunately it's not the same here anymore. I was in here the other day and the gentleman who assisted me (Middle Eastern male, 30s) was not friendly! I don't come here expecting exceptional service but the man was just rude! I wish I would have gotten his name. Oh well. Three stars it is. read more

Accuse me of stealing because I didn't know that they didn't have any cups out whatsoever for their beverages and they have to come out with gloves and do it for you so I am reporting them for being completely abusive against ADA law and they were so cruel to me as to demand to know if I had a bunch of other things in my purse and I emptied the whole thing out and then they were like oh you don't need to and I said well why do you asked me three or four times in a row like the police if you didn't think I had anything because you watch me walk around the whole fucking store not pick up a single thing and I asked you for a drink and this is what happened so this is what's called a Yelp disaster don't frequent the 7-Eleven except for gas otherwise it's absolutely not OK they've treated me poorly way more times than one and I'm finally done. My only expectation for a 7-11 is that they sell Twinkies and Advil. Everything else seems moot most of the time, so I typically walk into one, slap a smile on my face, and get out. But this location blew my mind. I ran over (literally) because I needed an iPod cord (yes, I am one of the few who still owns and cherishes my iPod from six...seven...man, eight? years ago) and hoped they could help. As I walked in, an employee was cleaning the glass on the door, and he smiled as he pulled open the door for me. I walked through each aisle looking for cords. Though I didn't see any, I did see that the place was impeccably spotless. Clean as can be from floor to ceiling. Even the food area looked 100% sanitary, and like you could eat off the countertops. I walked to the register and asked about cords, and the man cheerfully showed me a bin of miscellaneous knock-off Apple products, and even let me try the cord I thought would work in my iPod before I bought it. As he rung me up, he told me if I had any issues with it to come on back and return it/exchange it and he'd see if they could get me the right cord. And he smiled brightly. The window cleaning man smiled again as he held the door open on my way out and wished me a great day. I think the only thing that could have made this place better if it rained glitter and applause as you walked in and out and a cheerleader told you that you were doing a fantastic job at life. Out of all the 7-11's i've been too I had to say this location is my least favorite. The selection isn't the best, they employees aren't friendly and you can only get $10 cash back!?! Their gas is more than Chevron or Shell which both are right across the street! read more

I stopped by at 445am to get a cup of coffee. There was one pot of decaf. The guy working said he would start making coffee at 5:00am. I thought 7-eleven was 24 seven? I was disappointed that they could not have one pot of coffee for really early travelers or people who have to head to work early. read more
