This gas guzzler really drinks the gas, but I suppose driving over 80 mph almost all the way didn't help, hey the speed limit was 80mph out there for a lot of the way. We're staying at the hotel next door, so this is a good place to fuel up and maybe get some snacks for the room to have before dinner. They're lots of pumps here and they all are modern and take credit cards no prob. Gas today was $4.55 a gal for regular, not too bad compared to prices in California! Tanked up, this should get us back to Sacramento no prob. Some reviews complained about slow pumps, this wasn't the case for me. Just set it and let it fill. I could clean the windshield that way as he rest of the crew went inside to raid all the snacks and drinks. As for using the restrooms, I think it might be better just to wait till we get to the hotel next door.

When we finally were able to get gas we learned why-these pumps were uber slow filling up our tank. Hubby actually did end up going in to grab a snack. I stayed behind in case the tank filled before hubby was back. It was a tie/ hubby and the tank. But he did get a yummy brekie sandwich when he was inside. Based on other posts/ we will need to check out the coffee next time. Can't tell you the last time we bought coffee at a station- but I'm gonna trust the yelp family. When I'm around, the Douglas County Recycle Center is very close, of which I'm a regular visitor dropping off mostly cardboard, paper, cans, bottles, etc. I do that because Douglas Disposal does not offer curbside recycling at home and I can't stand the idea of throwing all this stuff away. And since all this burns gas (it takes me about a half hour to get around here from Genoa), I'm happy I have this 7-11 close by. Me and my Upside App have also been here to take advantage of discounted gas. And yes I checked that the discounted price was a good deal in comparison with other gas stations in the area. The Upside App does work, although the ads touting that I could save as much as $200 on fill ups will probably take a long while for me.

I usually go to Walmart pharmacy but it was past 7 and i just got out of the doctors. I came here and I'm so glad I did! The 2 workers were super nice- they had my prescription ready literally in 5 mins after it was received. Also the pharmacist was super helpful and told me how to take it so that it absorbs better. To contrast, last time I got this medication at Walmart it was a horrible experience. The walmart pharmacy took over 20 minutes even though there was no one else there (I think the pharmacist did it on purpose). She also did NOT give me the absorption advice (even though it was my first time getting this medication). Even though Walmart is a few blocks closer to me, I think I will switch to Walgreens! These workers had a good attitude and were very efficient AND wore their face masks (unlike some other questionable places).

When they mess up your prescriptions (and they will), it's a (bare minimum) half an hour wait to talk to someone on the phone- and usually is over 45 minutes. The lines in the store to pick up prescriptions are down the aisles (multiple) and the drive through is just as bad. Plan on an hour for a pick up. I have a prescription that was sent 7 days ago that shows as in process STILL. I ran out 5 days ago. That is the norm for this pharmacy. AVOID this place at all costs. They are the absolute worst. I just transferred my prescriptions to another pharmacy 20 miles further away so I can actually call, ask questions, and get my prescriptions on time. I just want a functional pharmacy. Walgreens lost my business, period. They've had plenty of time to fix that store but do nothing but let their customers suffer.

I went in and asked what was wrong and they said the money probably got jammed and they took my name and number and said when they pull the money out they would know. (which was two days later.) So I had to pay more money and when inquiring about it they said I pressed the wrong pump number. I get it ok my mistake I just felt like they could have done more to help at the time. Instead of saying it probably got jammed why could they not have told me the person who paid on that machine is on pump whatever I pressed, so I could try to do something about it at the time. I love this gas station but feel resentful. They do not try to help the customer so I guess they lose $200 a week for $20.
