This is a dirty, unpleasant Sevs. The cashiers all seem like methheads. There's a couple of them who have some pretty wild public conversations with each other and good luck getting their attention. The 7-Eleven about a mile up the road at 9 Mile and Pinecrest is considerably less dystopian. The workers there are just run of the mill potheads who might be forgetful but don't have me feeling like I have to go home and take a shower just because I got handed some change from them. read more

There are some good people here, but the prices change daily. Refill on a large soda? $1.26 yesterday. $2.53 for the same thing today. Usually it is $1.79. Depends on who serves you. I know it is just a dollar but the price doubles overnight? Nah, you can keep your inconsistency and unreliability. Ice here is a $1.00 a cup. Up the road on Campbell it is .50 for ice and a large refill any size is $1.26. At least I know I'm not gonna be gouged by someone scrapping for change. read more

This is a really great location - they have all the healthier fridge options as well as the higher end desserts, and all of the roller snackies - hot dogs, buffalo chicken rolls, taquitos, etc. They also have a huge coffee station and slurpees. Lots of options, and an ATM for convenience. The cashier went out of her way to be friendly, and I really appreciated that. They were super busy, and she still took the time to greet and chat with customers while moving the line quickly. 2 thumbs up. read more

The same as most businesses in the general area. Dirty. Edit - years later, still nasty. They regularly keep expired food and drink on the shelf. The slurpees regularly taste like multiple flavors, which tells you they don't bother cleaning them out. No doubt the machines are full of mold. Just take a closer look at things when you are inside, you will see the grime. read more

Since this business has been sold.. depending on the time of morning, customer service is terrible. Customer has to wait as the store clerk is done stocking their items. They approach the register with bad ENERGY... I've never been met with a hello or good morning. I'm just coming to do business. This store is filthy, very unsanitary. And! The man at the checkout counter was NOT wearing a mask. A fellow customer asked why he wasn't wearing a mask and he stated that "it's a conspiracy!" Avoid this store at all costs. I hope that the owners of this store will see this and get this place cleaned up. Good luck. I won't be back. read more

This 7-11 in Ferndale Michigan is an unhealthy place. The management does not enforce the requirement that customers wear masks, nor, in the observation of this reviewer, does it require employees to practice hygiene to prevent COVID spread. When I visited this 7-11 to get some items last night, the second night in a row, the majority of customers were not wearing masks, employees did not request customers to wear masks, , employee did not wear masks or gloves. did not wash hands between transactions and when I asked about the failure to enforce these health requirements the woman employee asked me why I came back and suggested not to do business there. Very handy little 7-eleven. Michelle was working and was a gem. Store was organized and clean when we were in.

Went there every other month for the past year I guess. Very safe because there is usually a Ferndale cop car in the lot. Usual 7-11 goods and prices. Go there for safe quick shopping and a quick snack. : ) read more

As far as 7-Elevens go, I'd give this place four stars! I stopped by for a free slurpee on their busiest day of the year. The staff here had the place running like a well-oiled machine! One staff members assisted those who were there for the Slurpee promotion. Another team member manned the food station. One team member cashed people out. The food being offered at promotional prices was hot and ready at request. I have never tried their pizza slices and was pleasantly surprised that it was pretty okay for stock pizza. Some of the iced beverages were trying to keep up with the volume of people, so they weren't as frozen as they probably should have been. I was in and out in much less than 10 minutes, even with a line of approximately 20 people ahead of me. If they are that efficient during such a hectic day can only Imagine their efficiency on a daily basis. read more

They have no sign that lotto has to be cash even when buying other things. So you have to use ATM with high service fee. Store is dirty, check out slow; an awful store really. The only benefit is location in Ferndale, but better independent own stores around. Won't go back. read more

The coffee bar is just as nasty as the staff. Stuff spilled everywhere. The African American woman there is very sarcastic. I stopped going there. The convenience isn't worth it. read more

This used to be a great store with friendly staff. Now the night staff is often downright hostile. One lady won't say anything at all to customers unless it's to scold them for something trivial. She'll just aggressively toss your stuff into a bag and push it across the counter to you. Another person there let a line of customers sit for 10 minutes without acknowledging their presence -- she was merely 10 feet away, stocking a shelf but facing the register. It's getting to the point where I don't want to deal with the hostility and may just start going elsewhere. Shame. read more

Great facility. The service here is just superb. The cashiers are always friendly. The coffee is always great. They have so many flavors of slurpees. They enjoy getting to know there customers by first name bases. This is my go to convenient spot every time I need something. Best coffee set up around. So many different flavor creamers and add one chocolate marshmallows the whole 9 yards. I don't even drink much coffee but when I want a sweet hot drink this is the 7 11 I hit up they coffee area is always fully stocked. read more

i've been an almost-everyday customer here for years. i'm a proud card-carrying member of the slurpee rewards program they have in the summer. i know i can come here at any time and get a cup of coffee, a donut, the latest snacks, the coolest new drink or any of their dinner options (a la carte baby!) from the grill. i've even gotten life advice and music recommendations from the dedicated employees. stopping in between 2 am and 5 am means you're usually in for interesting people watching. what a fine establishment read more
