It's the star of the show and the rest of the sandwich that comes on it is fine but forgettable. The strawberry and custard croissant was excellent. The line to order went quickly and food was brought to us at our outdoor table. Our party of 2 had no problem getting a seat, but on weekends parties larger than 3 may be better off with take out.

I enjoyed how fresh and cohesive the flavors were! There's also a variety of pastries offered. These are baked in their Columbia location and brought to Arundel Mills. I was intrigued by the variety of savory treats, some topped with cheese and beef, others with vegetables. I was also delighted to see macaroons, that looked pretty authentic. With all the solid options present, I landed in a pistachio donut! Now, I will say I had a bit higher expectations for the donut. The donut itself was delicious, but I would have appreciated more pistachio throughout the cream in the center or maybe even skipping out on the cream altogether. Overall I think it was certainly worth a try. The matcha, for sure, stole the show! I will be back to try another flavor of matcha and a savory pastry!

Onlyyyyy thing I would say is the seating, not much seating for the amount of people who go but nonetheless still great spot.

The Pistachio Latte looked good so we got one hot, one iced so we could share & try the two variations. We asked for almond milk in the lattes. Fitting: pistachios & almonds together. Both were really good. Can really taste the pistachio flavour after stirring the latte. We'll keep Qaffee House in mind whenever we're in the area. Side note: I found their logo quite clever artistically. It made sense after I looked at the name "Qaffee House" and back to logo. The cup is the Latin letter "q" and the symbol with the two dots is the Arabic equivalent to "q", the Qaf (ق). And this leads to Arabic word for coffee: "qahwa". Nicely done blend of languages.

There is plenty of seating inside, making it a great option for dessert with large groups. We had 7 adults and 2 kids with no issues finding seating during our visit. The staff were kind enough to make conversation with my toddler. I appreciated their patience as I encouraged him to order for himself at the counter. When we arrived we were seated quickly. A lot of items stood out to us on the menu so we went back and forth on what to order but it did take a little bit for someone to come take our order. Ultimately we landed on the peach cobbler French toast, cinnamon roll French toast, and a 1/2 and 1/2 lunch special with chicken & waffles and a cup of jambalaya. I was told the peach cobbler French toast was really good. The cinnamon roll French toast was prepared perfectly. Not soggy which was surprising given how much syrup and melted cream was on the plate. It was just VERY sweet. It also came with a side of eggs and brown sugar sage sausage patties. I loved the sausage patties and 2 was just enough. The chicken and waffles were good, the chipotle honey that came on the side complimented the chicken really well. The jambalaya had potential, but could have been seasoned a bit heavier. I also ordered the raspberry peach palmer and it was bombbb. I'd absolutely recommend another broken egg and will definitely stop in again if there's a location nearby.

Oddly enough, it was pretty quiet, but they do have the games on for anyone looking for a low-key spot to watch. We were seated within 5 minutes, which I appreciated. Our server, Patrick, was... okay. Not terrible, but definitely felt new to serving. We didn't get the rundown of the daily specials (yet overheard them being given to the booth behind us), and a few small service details slipped through--but I'm giving him grace based on his newness. One thing I noticed from Yelp reviews is that bread is usually served automatically. We had to request it, especially after seeing tables seated after us get theirs first. Not a dealbreaker, but noticeable. We ordered several appetizers, and honestly, they were filling enough to be a full meal: * Ribs - Flavorful, tender, and genuinely falling off the bone. The portion sizes were a bit inconsistent--some pieces were cut shorter than others--but the texture was on point. I'd definitely return for these. * Brussels Sprouts - Patrick didn't mention they were shareable, which would've been helpful. I did like the flavor, but in hindsight I'm glad we pivoted to... * Crab Dip - This one missed for me. The flavor leaned more tuna-ish than crab-forward. Not my preference, but you may feel differently. * Shrimp in Spicy Butter - Definitely spicy, but somehow still flavorless. More like spicy water than a seasoned butter sauce. The one bonus? They were served piping hot--exactly how I like my food. * French Fries - Hand-cut and tasty. A solid win. Unfortunately, everything except the shrimp came out lukewarm, which took away from dishes that could've been great. Temperature matters! On the drink side, though? Hits all around. The fresh-pressed beet juice was fantastic, and the sweet tea was also on point. We skipped dessert only because we were full, but I'm already planning to come back specifically to try it--along with the ribs and fries again. Overall, I'm hoping this was just an off day. Elliott's Kitchen has potential, and I'd like to see it shine on the next visit
