We went in and petted him and he didn't seem to mind - very nice, calm and friendly in an unobtrusive way. He had a very chill vibe like he owns the place - he probably does :) Our first time ever in this store, we walked down the aisles looking around for something to buy as we didn't want to just pet the cat and leave, that would not be nice! They definitely have a lot of stuff - groceries, snacks, drinks etc. We bought a bottle of sweet lime concentrate for $5. There is street parking available at the meters. The frontage is under renovation and covered from the front view. The store appeared clean and orderly upon entry. There is an ATM near the doorway and a uniformed peace officer working at the entrance. The store seemed of decent size for a city type location. There were a variety of national products available for purchase. There were several workers I noticed in the store. It seems that there was an issue with management and work assignments. At the time of my visit, a store worker was having issues with the management. He voiced his displeasure at being put on hold before collecting his requested items. He started yelling in the store with customers watching because he was being ignored by management instead of being helped and moved on his way out of the store. This show lasted for over 20 minutes as I waited for my service to be completed. I wanted a few items that were in the store but noted that all of the desired items were damaged. I asked if the store would discount them if I purchased them anyway. No discount, was the answer from management. Hmmm, then why is the store selling damaged goods in the first place? I was on foot walking and I needed the items. I had to settle for the full price of the damaged items. I noted that there was a FedEx desk up for use at the store cashier areas. I also noted an ATM machine as well. Photo Center: 4: I was impressed with the quality of the photos I was able to get at this location. I was not impressed with the fact that when ordering online to pickup the same day in the store, no pictures were ready because the worker didn't check to see if something had come in for same day service. I arrived a few hours later to the store and still had to wait in the check out line only to be told the photos aren't ready yet because we didn't print them. The worker I was being helped by the first time, was competent and capable in completing the job. The following two days, I found that the male workers were not as capable. The process was explained to me and I was able to order the needed products while waiting in store on the first occasion.

Sometimes I find myself showing up here two or three times a day. First, there is the morning coffee fix. Campus Convenience shines here. New England blend Raspberry Chocolate coffee is the best! I sometimes get their blueberry coffee or dark roast. I appreciate the variety of hot beverages- lots of types of coffee, tea, and expressoy cappuchinoy scary drinks. I am not sure if any of you have spent any amount of time at a Dunkin Donuts located in a public hospital emergency room, but it is not a pretty sight. Think screaming babies, nose bleeds, and nurses purchasing 32 cups of coffee at a time. I am glad Campus Convenience allows me to avoid this mess, and my blood pressure is as well. Next, I might go here for an afternoon lunch or snack. I have never tried their made to go sandwiches or pizza but am always very happy at the salad bar. They also have pre made sandwiches and sushi which typically freak me out, but they aren't so bad here. For snacks, CC has a good variety of natural snacks (Think a whole wall of granola bars and nuts), yogurt, fruit, and hummus/veggie platters and so I can feed my body well. On several occasions I have bought carrots and celery only to find a fuzzy white substance ala Steven King's the mist covering them-so thumbs down to that. Please pay attention to sell by labels. If I need ANYTHING in an emergency (band aids, lint rollers, deodorant, ping pong balls) it is available behind the counter at Campus Convenience. Little known fact. The major downfall of CC is their hours. BU med campus night classes usually run 6-9, with a 7:30 break. By now I need a sugar fix and think the CC counter will be the perfect place to get that but CC closes at 7. It would be really wise to stay open that extra half an hour- I am sure there are a lot of hungry students out there. Also, completely random, I think they need to sell magazines. There is no good place to buy magazines in this area and that is silly. It is a hospital; people are bored!

Clean enough, decent enough. If you need a cold soda on Albany Street it's not a bad place to stop. However, if you're looking for a quick bite, I'd recommend the Hidden Kitchen a little further down the street.
