I used to come to this 7-Eleven regularly because the previous staff was genuinely friendly, welcoming, and made me WANT to support this location. Unfortunately, since the franchise/management change, my experience has completely changed.
One of my biggest issues is that this location no longer accepts EBT. I've repeatedly asked whether EBT is coming back, and I can never get a clear or consistent answer. At this point, I would much rather be told honestly that it isn't coming back than continue getting vague answers.
Customer service has also gone downhill. The staff rarely smiles, speaks, or makes you feel welcome. When I ask a question, I often feel like I'm simply being stared at instead of actually helped. That is a huge difference from the employees who used to work here and were one of the main reasons I continued coming back. But do note, the ambiance just isn't the same.
I've still been coming because I have the Daily Drink Club/free drink membership, but even that has become frustrating when large cups or even red straws frequently aren't stocked.
So at this point I genuinely have to ask: why am I continuing to spend my money here?
My membership expires October 8, 2026. Unless things change--especially the customer service, basic stocking issues, and getting a straightforward answer about EBT--I don't plan on renewing it or continuing to visit this location.
I'm not writing this because I want the store to fail. It's actually the opposite. I used to really enjoy coming here, and I'd love to have a reason to support this location again. But customers should feel welcomed, basic supplies should be stocked, and questions about something as important as EBT deserve a clear and honest answer. read more
