This is my second time here, but this time was unpleasent. The only thing great about this place was the speedy service. I went there for a SMOG, there were no conspicious signs stating the price. I thought it's about $60 or less, wasn't expecting to pay $80 for a 10 minute SMOG check at all when all the other places I went to in the past were all around $50 for a SMOG Test only center. The guy just got the keys from me and wasn't even told how much it'll cost until later on when my car was already servicing. I forgot to bring my coupon, but I found it on their computer and told them that it's on the screen. They said it must be printed out, and I asked if I could use their printer then. I mean, what's the difference? The coupon is still there and I mention it already, it's just a paper and I went to them because I saw it when searching for it around my neighbor. A piece of paper is not that much and it's the principal of it and they should have honor that. So much for good customer service. They don't seem friendly and not willing to help. Oh well, that's it for me at least, maybe I just encounter a bad day this time. What a rip off. Will never go back to this place again. read more

They do a pretty good job: nothing especially fantastic about them. Their regular price is really expensive, so only go there with one of their coupons listed in the other reviews. In my case, I had an older Saturn with cooling problems. They left it idling and then it started boiling over and smoking. So, they weren't that careful. On the positive side of not being that careful, they were fast. They got cars coming in there often and usually have 3 or 4 going at once. I think they must smog for some local shops. You could get a smog test for $30 somewhere, but looking is a pain. Pretty easy to find one for $50 including the cert (just ask if they will match the price). If they will do it for $50 with the cert, I think this is a great place to go. read more

Really impressed with this place. I have had at least 15 smog checks done over the last 25 years and I have learned to lower the bar on expectations - long wait, indifferent service, etc. This place blew me away. First they offer $20 off if you mention Yelp, so I thought I would give it a try. They have a waiting room with magazines, free WiFi + a couple of computers. This place was amazing. We all get the DMV letter and dread having to find a place to get a smog test quickly and cheaply. I was delightfully surprised when it took less than 10 min today when Steve provided stellar service. He was courteous, polite, and competent. It is obvious that he cares about his job and was working extra hard for his customers. With not many people waiting, and it being the end of the day, he still rushed around to carefully inspect my car when most other places would have taken their time. Plus, he honored the Yelp deal without any question. It is truly rare to find people put so much care and energy into their service. Okay, the folks there are quite pleasant and I got a quick in and out service done. For a standard car you pay dearly, $70. Wow. You are quite likely to get a $20 break if you can say "I have been here before" or if you print the coupon from their site. This is my first review and it comes from consulting Yelp. I needed a Smog certification badly, but didn't want to wait or hassle with the help. After finding this place, I called them, although no appointments are necessary. They were friendly on the phone. When I got there first thing on last Saturday, I found I was customer number 2. I agree with the previous critiques. Courteous, fast service received. I mentioned about the referral from Yelp and they knocked off $20 from the bill. The cost might be about average with others, some might have it less and while others more, but. do yourself a favor and just go here. It started my weekend off nicely. read more

used them several times in the past and used to love them; used to be a great place owned by a nice couple. have been sold to new owners and the new staff isn't at all 'the same'. our trusty old rig failed here (for the first time ever!) and the new staff apparently wasn't able to explain things when they fail; actually suggested several things that "might" be causes, including the failure of some components our rig doesn't even *have*. time to start looking elsewhere! read more

This place is sooooooo great! Efficient, friendly and straight forward, just the way I think all business should be run. With mechanical expertise it is so easy to feel like you might be getting worked over. It seems like there are a lot of places out there that take our lack of knowledge about cars and turn it into their profit. That's why I avoid places that have all these weird deals, that only apply on certain days or if you look them in the eye with enough confidence. This place is professional and friendly and definitely not hiding anything from you. I felt safe and cared for. You should absolutely try this place out.
