The tea had stevia in it (wtf??) which I personally think is the most disgusting and disappointing sweetener out there. Super weird for it to be a part of the tea bag, IMO. Ambiance? I would LOVE to spend more time there. I love local artists and the vibe there is really great. Soothing, relaxing, chill... but... I go to a coffee shop for the coffee and/or tea and if that's not great and if the barista is annoyed... I'm not going to stick around for the ambiance. (Also, with a name like Avionics, I was expecting a little more decor along that line. So if you're interested in aviation and airplanes, don't come here thinking you've found a fellow aficionado.)

It hit all the checkmarks for us. Even after a day old it was still reallly good. Server was also super helpful in getting us suggestion for another specialty drink. We avoided the sweeter ones so landed on the London smog latte with steamed oat milk, 2 shots of expresso, earl gray and cane syrup. The earl gray flavor was just perfect with the coffee and oat aroma. One of the best flavors coffee we've had. After the tea got steeped for a while it got a bit too strong but I still liked it at a lot. I love that it's aromatic without being overpowered by sweetness.

Thai Tea Caramel Canelé {5/5}: The best canelé I've ever had (okay, I admit, I've only had maybe 6 in my life). Great caramel and good Thai tea flavor. The texture was AMAZING with a nice slight crisp and chewy outside and almost custard-like inside. It was a great play on sweet and salty flavors with delicious flakey layers Jade Cloud {3/5}: Peach oolong tea with matcha cold foam. Just a personal preference thing, but the flavor combination of peach, oolong, and matcha was not my favorite. I can see how someone who likes this flavor profile would find this drink refreshing!
