Today, two of us were walking through chatting, and a Meadows property manager/worker yelled at us from across the parking lot, maybe 40 yards away, asking who we were. Thinking he had mental issues or a salesman, we kept walking. He then approached and harassed us, screaming about how we were trespassing, continuing verbal abuse and harassment and followed us until we left the property. We talked quietly, did not approach anyone, hang door tags, play music, or toss trash. We didn't go into the center apartment area. We're both computer professionals. This employee could have gotten on his golf cart and quietly told us sorry we cannot walk thru his parking lot and to kindly exit the premises. Instead, he chose to yell threateningly across a parking lot and come after us with verbal abuse. A good way to judge apartment management is how they treat visitors. Because as residents, you're going to get more of that - or worse. Stay away from this complex.

Meadows is very safe and it's also in a good location - it is right off of Central expressway and it's close to 237 and 101. Apartment was spacious as well. I also thought the gym was great and bigger than a lot of other apartment gyms so amenities as good here. There is a community pool as well. The management company was very responsive with service requests. We had an issue where the central AC was spewing out dead bugs so the maintenance team quickly came in and gave us a new AC. Meadows also hosts some events every couple months (coffee station, Easter egg hunt, food trucks, etc.) which made the apartment complex feel more like a community. One of the drawbacks about this complex is the lack of natural light in the some of the apartments. Because of all the tall redwood trees and the direction of our apartment, we didn't get much light. For the most part, we had our lamps turned on all the time. And because of the trees, leaves would fall into our balcony so we had to frequently clean that up. We decided to leave once the lease was up as we found a place with more natural light closer to our offices and meadows was going to increase the rent by $250 a month. If it wasn't for the light situation, probably would have continued to stay here. Overall I enjoyed living here, and if you are ok with less natural light or you are able to get an apartment facing the right direction, then I recommend!

The place is nice and cozy with your own balcony/patio. My name is on the lease and dealt with the staff. They are one of the most responsive ladies I've had the pleasure of dealing with. They were prompt in responding to any questions. They were very helpful, kind and professional. Shout out to Amica and Joc. They run Renaissance apartment with compassion, kindness and professionalism. Parking is not a problem at all. You have an assigned covered parking and lots of guest parking. They have lots of EV charging station as well. The move out process was seamless. We got our security deposit back less cleaning service as I am not about to spend my days cleaning it lol. On top of that, the garage doors frequently malfunction, sometimes allowing ; all laundry machine sensors had to be replaced after only six months; refrigerators frequently break, causing food loss with no compensation; and police cars show up outside fairly often for unknown reasons. The kitchen appliances are all Samsung - much higher quality than those found in apartments for the same price point. AC/heater works very quickly to cool/heat. Sound is isolated well. I do not hear my next door neighbors at all, so this place is perfect if you are looking for peace and quiet while working from home. I would also like to point out how great the leasing staff is here - one of the biggest reasons why we are choosing to lease here. Kevin gave us a very friendly and well informed tour of all the options within our price range. We met most of the staff during the process and found them all to be both professional and personable.

Terrible experience living here…read more Poor maintenance and upkeep. Things break and take weeks to fix. Basic things like hot water heaters frequently go down in the middle of peak winters. Walls are thin and noise is a big issue. Dirty carpets remain uncleaned for months. I've been a prometheus loyalist and have had some very good experiences but this particular property has been the worst.

We have stayed in several apartments in and around Sunnyvale and by far Ironworks stands out as the best. Their service is top notch and I want to particularly give a shout out to Ashley. She is spectacular and takes great care of the residents. My email chats with her on concerns were addressed to the point with clear details and great empathy - something I missed in all my prior stays. I strongly recommend Ironworks if you are looking in the area and willing to spend a little extra - It is totally worth it!
