This is my go-to place to grab a super hot Americano and maybe a breakfast sandwich on my way to work. It's also a great meet-up place for breakfast, lunch or coffee. Not noisy so you can have a conversation. Casual atmosphere and the friendliest staff:). I love having a locally owned business right in our neighborhood to frequent. Went on Saturday around 1230, had a chicken wrap and side salad. The chicken wrap was very tasty, had honey on the chicken, along with vegetables in the wrap. Very well worth the trip. Side salad was fresh only had tomatoes and lettuce though. The portions are very large, I ate most of my food, my wife took 1/2 of her food home in a box. Service was excellent. read more

Pretty nice little corner coffee shop! I was looking for a spot to crash land and get some work done so I thought I'd stroll in and check out the new digs. It's a pretty big place with lots of seating - booths and stand-alone chairs. It was, however, a bit noisy so bring your headphones if you need to focus. Major selling point - power outlets at every two-top table lining the outer walls. This may not be a big deal to some people, but my computer holds zero charge so I need to plug in constantly. The coffee is a pour-over coffee upwards of roughly $5 for a large. Take note, however, there is an option for a bottomless cup of their regular drip coffee. If you plan on staying for hours to get something done, plan ahead and purchase the bottomless cup. I ordered the veggie wrap and was simply delighted. I was pleasantly surprised that there was no lettuce and, instead, baby spinach as a filler. It was kinda weird that there were 6 or 7 employees running the place and it took a few minutes longer for my wrap to come out, but I wasn't in a hurry so it didn't bother me. Will definitely keep this spot in mind for the next time I need to get some work done. read more

I was really excited to try this place, but man I was really disappointed by the food. The coffee was pretty good but the food wasn't my favorite unfortunately. I got a tuna sandwich and it was freezing cold and just wasn't the best, so I ordered a breakfast sandwich because I was so hungry. It was also pretty average. read more

I just stumbled on this place when we needed a quick bite but didn't want to do the fast food route. I am so glad we stopped. Such a cute little restaurant. Mirrors that of a Bread Co, but a little more intimate. My husband had the BLTT (with Turkey) and I opted for the Pesto Turkey Melt. I felt it was very reasonable for the price. My husband's sandwich was very large and layered. My pesto sandwich was also filling. We ordered a side salad and it was a nice size. The mac n cheese was bland. Sorry. I saw on another reviewer they complained, but I wanted to give the benefit of the doubt, as well as feed my son. It lacked flavor and finesse. Needed to be creamier as it was dry (might of been end of day). But overall the food was really good. Next time I want to try their Kaldi's coffee, because the tea was really good! TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I went on Wed Dec 4, 2019 for dinner for a quick dinner with my son who is in pre-kindergarten. I ordered the Salmon BLT and my son had the Kids mac and cheese. I noticed the Kids Mac and Cheese was a bit off in taste and my son barely ate any of it. I was in a bit of a hurry to get my kid to choir practice so I wasn't able to confront the manager about the Kids Mac and Cheese tasting terrible. I believe it was old- kinda rubbery. I called up on Thursday Dec 5, 2019 and requested that management refund the mac and cheese because it tasted awful. They said that since I paid with a credit card, they don't do refunds over the phone but I can come in for a cash refund. Which is ridiculous- most places can do refunds over the phone with a credit card. So, I finally made it over to 6 North Cafe on Sunday 12/8/19 at noon and I and it took FOREVER for the manager to address the situation. While I waited, they came over and paid me $3 and I asked the manager to come back and I said, "I was expecting $4.20 as a refund, NOT $3." And he said in a RUDE MANNER, the Mac and Cheese is $2.70 NOT $4.20 so you only get $3". And I said "For goodwill, I am requesting $4.20 considering it's a COMPLETE hassle to physically come back and get a CASH REFUND vs. a credit card refund". And he said, "If you have a problem with it, you need to speak with the owner tomorrow". We are disputing $1.20 difference- absolutely unacceptable- considering I have frequented this place for the last year. This is why small businesses can't compete... the terrible customer service is what leaves a bad taste in my mouth as well as the bad Mac and Cheese. read more

This is a cute lunch spot (that also serves breakfasts and teas/coffees/smoothies) where the focus is on fresh ingredients. The tortilla soup that I ordered was piping hot which is HUGE, as it seems like there is an epidemic going around of lukewarm/underheated food. While I waited for it to cool, I sampled the garden salad that my dining companion ordered. For a side salad, the portion was generous. The balsamic vinaigrette was tasty and an elevated alternative to the usual oil and vinegar dressing. The coffee drinks looked inventive as well. For add ons, I recommend the Billy Goat Chips. One also can't go wrong with one of the chocolate-chip cookies (all of the baked goods and desserts are made in house). read more

Went to Yelp for a lunch idea yesterday and stumbled upon 6 North. It was exactly the type of establishment for which I was looking. A nice, healthyish lunch that was not a chain. Though my GPS steered me in the wrong direction, I finally arrived to find that they had a drive-through. I was ecstatic! I was deciding between the turkey & apples wrap and the homemade chicken salad sandwich. I went with the chicken salad and it was delicious. I love that the chicken isn't canned, but hand shredded. You can tell that it was made that day and it was delicious. My friend got the Turkey North Club, or something like that and she was also very pleased with the quality. We split a cup of the chicken with wild rice soup and that was also creamy and delicious. With a drink, everything was about $15! I can't wait to go back, sit inside and try something new! read more

My college chum and I went for lunch the last day of September. This place is a total workaurant. You order at the counter. They give you a large, laminated playing deck card. I got the queen of hearts. She got the nine of diamonds. This is totally random and does not reflect the order of the orders. It could just as well have been numbers or Monopoly properties. We both ordered the same thing: Custom Cobb Salad ($7.50) with turkey (from the Café Salad section). Other protein choices were ham or tuna. This came in a massive bowl with mixed greens, sliced hard-boiled eggs, tomatoes, avocado slices, black olives and bleu cheese crumbles with their homemade ranch dressing. This was a tremendous salad with such fresh, abundant ingredients; and they all shone and worked perfectly together. The dressing was on the side, you could use as much or as little as you desired. I needed another napkin, so I had to go back up to the now-forming line and interrupt JUST to get another napkin. When we were finished, I needed a to-go vessel for half of my salad. So again, I went to interrupt the order line to ask for a receptacle. You have to bus your own table, including separating, utensils from bowls from trash from recyclables. That's a lot of work. I do that at home, and do not expect to have to do that in a restaurant. Not to mention that if you're separating utensils from a half-eaten bowl of food, that's a pretty icky task to have to perform in a restaurant. I would suggest their business model is just a tad flawed, especially considering there were only three people working, including managing the drive-through. And they were interrupted two times by me for a napkin and a to-go vessel, which they easily could have had out in help-yourself areas. I don't know about this place. The salad was stupendous. I haven't been getting out recently due to having a baby, but I am lucky enough to have a lot of people who have been bringing me meals. A ploy to come meet my sweet baby! A friend of mine bought me lunch from this place, which I had never heard of. I really enjoyed their veggie sandwich! It came with fresh mozzarella, several vegetables ( including avocado, a must), balsamic vinaigrette, and dill mayo (usually it's a mustard mayo but I asked for the substitution). It was On a fresh sliced bread. I got the half sandwich with a half salad with homemade ranch dressing. Also very flavorful. My friend surprised me with a rice krispie treat, which was ok but not great. I don't live very close but I may make a trip soon to grab a meal since I liked it so much! read more

I'm always up for more options for healthy food in a coffee shop/cafe atmosphere and was excited when I saw that we've got a new locally owned option in a part of town that is typically filled with chain restaurants. I scheduled a business meeting here a couple of weeks ago. We grabbed some coffee and had our meeting, then I ordered a Dill Turkey sandwich to go and took it back to the office. I absolutely loved the sandwich. I don't know anyone else with dill on their sandwich. I liked it so much I would go out of my way for lunch here just to get this sandwich. There were a number of other items that looked good too. I'm not giving it 5 stars only because it could have had more of a cozy relaxing feel to it. The decor just felt like a generic lunch cafe. Nothing to make you want to grab your laptop and go hang out for a few hours the way I feel about Lone Star which isn't that far away. I really like this place. I thought I heard them say they make their own dressings--a big weakness if they're good. And the dressing on the Fiesta Chicken Salad was excellent, it tastes buttermilk-homemade. My son and his wife took me here on Mother's Day too. The name is impossibly difficult for me to remember. This coffee shop is tucked away from CVS, in a shopping strip along Clayton Road near Schoettler Road out in the county. Easy to miss, unless you're looking for the sign. Plenty of seating, and friendly staff. I've experienced the chilli and was underwhelmed. Little flavor, midway through, I'd had enough beans for my week. They use Kaldi's coffee, so +star there! I'll probably stick with coffee if I continue to frequent this cafe, so try a salad based on a few other reviews. read more

Went there for lunch today... A+.... Food was excellent and service was great. Friendly people there... Had the veggie sandwich and a side of pasta salad. All ingredients were so fresh--- the fresh mozz was the best part! The only thing I would change would be to add some more avocado. There were only two small slivers on the sandwich. Love the drive through.... I work in the area so it's a nice, quick stop on my lunch break. They also have Kaldi's coffee- huge plus in my book. Will be returning again soon! read more

When I first heard that a 6 North Cafe was going to open up near my mother's offices, I was excited. Unfortunately, the coffee menu takes up one telly screen compared to the 3-4 screens of sandwiches and other food. A great thing that was built was a drive-thru alcove that I may use, since I feel like the interior space could laid out a bit better; hey were able to use a new space that was build specifically for them and I feel that wasn't the best way to go, especially if the place catches on in the area for busy lunchtimes. I will be back though in the fall more often, as the mocha I enjoyed was delicious and the spot is close to my university. There's still time to improve... read more

We stopped by Six North for an easy dinner this evening. After looking over the menu, my wife tried the 6 North club, I got the buffalo chicken wrap and we got a honey chicken wrap for the girls. The service was very good and the gentleman at the drive-thru was very nice. The food was very tasty and the buffalo chicken wrap had some nice kick to it! I also enjoyed the bleu cheese crumbles in the wrap as well. The overall consensus was that everything was good. Oh, I forgot to mention the two monster cookies we got! My best friend lives very close to Six North, and we decided to check it out for once. I must say that I was a little confused with the interior at first sight. The interior didn't have that "cozy cafe" atmosphere I was expecting. The layout was a little odd and lacked a bit of feng shui energy. O.o The tables, the chairs, and the booth felt almost like as if i was sitting at fast food restaurant. Well I got over the weird interior very quickly. I like to note that they have plenty of tables which is important. This would be decent studying place for those parkway kids since St. Louis Bread Company down the street gets pretty crowded sometimes. More importantly the food and drink was either decently priced or on the pricier side. I ordered a large ice tea which was only 20 cent more than the regular. I mean why not? The large ice tea turned out to be ginormous! On the other hand I ordered a Buffalo Chicken Wrap which came out to be a disappointment. However, my friend's chili was delicious, and we ordered a thai chicken flat bread our first time here, which is my all-time favorite. Everything on the menu seems fairly healthy. They will prepare something on the menu Gluten Free if you ask. :) I think I would've reviewed 6 North lower if it wasn't for their friendly staff. They are awesome! read more

I love getting salads here! They're reasonably priced, yummy and are a convenient carry out. The salads are fresher and cheaper than most other places in the category (I'm looking at you, Bread Co). 6 North Cafe made for a nice, lighter dinner Sunday night. A coworker of mine had been here and said he enjoyed it. he told me where it was, but I hadn't noticed it there. It's not that it is hidden, but it blends into the new strip center behind the CVS. All the storefronts look similar, with similar signage over the doors. So for my birthday, i got a mailer with restaurant coupons - including one from 6 North Cafe for 50% off my bill, up to $10. Sounded like a good reason to me to try them! Place was nice enough, very clean, color scheme similar to St L Bread Co. Layout is pretty rectangular, though - efficient, but loses some atmosphere. There is a drive thru, though. Workers were pleasant. Nice variety in the menu. Family wound up ordering a BLT, 1/2 roast beef sandwich with pasta salad, and a 3 cheese pizza/flatbread. The order taker said the pizza would take about 7 minutes, and asked if we wanted all the food to come out with the pizza - showed some consideration for us, not a big thing, but nice. (We said to bring out the other food first, and let the pizza follow.) Food was brought to the table after just a few minutes, and the pizza actually followed almost immediately. Food was all really tasty. BLT had thick cut, flavorful bacon, decent tomato slices, very crispy lettuce, a chipotle mayo for some nice spicy variety, and thickish toasted bread (but not too thick). Only negative was that there were really too many lettuce leafs. Made it thicker, but to no benefit. Also, it was iceberg lettuce - which, while nice and green, could be improved by perhaps adding romaine or other. Roast beef was nice and dark, good flavor. Decent amount of thin sliced red onion. some lettuce and tomato, and another spiced mayo spread - not chipotle, but more than just plain mayo. Pizza/flatbread was decent - good, not more or less. It did have a LOT of cheese, which I really like. We were there at about 5:30 pm on a very hot Sunday, and there were only two guys getting iced coffees when we arrived. We were the only patrons inside during our whole stay after they left. Perhaps it was the time and the heat. There were two or three cars that came through the drive thru - so it's not like there was no other business. Don't know if they were coffee-only orders or also got food. I really struggled with 3 star vs. 4 star rating. Ultimately, I can't yet give it 4 stars. I likd it quite a bit, but just not quite there. There is a lot more to the place than what we ate, but I can only really comment on our food. It's a nice enough place. I liked the quality of our food quite a bit. Latte was decent but the place has all the charm of a fast food restaurant. It's not very conducive to lingering, which is exactly what I want when I visit a cafe. Also tried their biscuits and gravy. Odd offering for a cafe, but whatever. Two sliced and slightly toasted biscuits with a dollop of fairly bland gravy on each slice. I guess someone in the kitchen didn't want to have a messy plate to clean afterwards. Disappointing. If someone could combine the coffee of 6 North with the charm and atmo of Picasso's Coffee House (horrible capos by the way), they would have a winner.
