Went with two others for a mani-pedi the day before my sister's wedding and was pleasantly surprised by the ease at which it was to make a reservation as well as the very friendly nail technicians. They were very thorough and didn't a great job. I also liked that there were several options in terms of what type of treatment you wanted. To top it off, I accidentally left my Apple Watch at the nail salon and called a few days later (wedding brain) to see if I had left it there. Luckily, they had it and had kept it safe for me. Amazing spot for SnS. Tony and Rin are the best! I always come out of there with smooth, even, beautiful nails that last weeks. It is pricey, but well worth it for good nails. Go on a weekday, less of a wait, and there is great parking. Highly highly recommend! Only negative is no lotion, only oil for cuticles. Bring your own if you want it. I went in to have my Nails SNS done And when the lady was doing my nails she use the diamond cut Dremel instead of the emery board drama she went deep into the nailbed and when I asked her to stop she kept using the Dremel on my nails... The first time I came to this location it was with a group of friends pretty close to when they closed. There were only two guys working on our group and unfortunately they saved me for last. Before walking out the door I messed up my nails three different times! Just from being clumsy while joking with my friends (I'm a hand talker). Each time my guy fixed them without making me feel bad that I was keeping them there late. The next time I went I decided to get gel polish because, obviously I need kid gloves and, I didn't want a repeat of my first visit. Usually people compliment my super long nail beds and it's hard to find anyone who will file my nails as short as I like. (I blame my desire for short nails on going to guitar lessons when I was younger and always being told I need to cut my nails more when they were already painfully short.) While he questioned if I was sure about the short length he still did what I asked. I also like that he didn't put the gel all the way down to help with the appearance of shortness. So as far as my manicure experience I'd give this place a 5! However then I decided to get a pedicure. The older lady who did my feet was a little rude and did a subpar job. My nails were not all fully painted and she kept smudging the big toes. It looked worse than if I would have done them myself. My friend who is a regular was with me and she said she stopped getting pedicures at this location for that very reason. read more

I've "cheated" and tried other salons that may be more convenient, but they never measure up to the quality of 5 Star Nails. Looks pretty nice on the inside and very close to my house. Unfortunately I will not be returning to this nail shop. My boyfriend and I stopped by here to get pedicures on a Sunday after our first two choices were closed. First, they quickly talked him into the $50 "deluxe" pedicure (he never looks at prices ). Still unsure on what exactly the tequila and lime did for my pedicure other than make me crave a margarita. That's all fine though until my tech, came off as if she might be the owner? Or in charge? Insisted I get acrylic on my big toes as they were cracked. Okay fine. However she was clearly inexperienced with this because it took forever for her to get them shaped and filed down and to be honest I'm still not thrilled with the shape. But that wasn't the worst part as I looked down and found I was bleeding! After that I was watching her every stroke. She claimed it was because of a new file. Yeah okay. Two days later and I can still feel the cut. No infection so far so at least there's that. All in all, the massage /hot rocks portion was my favorite part and maybe I would like my gel French if my big toes were not so inconsistent and misshapen from the acrylic. My boyfriends pedi was just "ok" and he seemed to be a lil disappointed that his didn't come with the same massage aspect (kinda important for a man). This place is amazing. I tried this place for the first time to get a pedicure and I was in heaven. They have a great pedicure menu from your basic all the way to the royal treatment! I got a deluxe pedicure which included a sugar scrub, a mask and the best foot and leg massage! I was drooling by the end haha. Please check them out if you are in the area. i got an acrylic fill on september 5th. these are the worst nails i've ever had in my life. the shape and tip is completely uneven (like the tech has never even seen a straight line) and the application is lumpy. the nails are different lengths on each hand. the tech DRILLED the shape and instead of filed them. normally my fills will last me 3 weeks (acrylics require a fill every 2 weeks) and 2 of my nails have been broken by today, september 18th, a day shy of 2 weeks later. the acrylic must've been weak because i didn't even feel them break. the icing on the cake is when the technician rushed me out of the door while i was at the drying station waiting for my nails to dry literally minding my own business, so i left with messed up polish too. the only good thing about this place is it is clean. do not go if you need acrylic nails. read more

5 Stars is my neighborhood nail salon and everyone in there is great. There are 2 nail salons in the same plaza but this one is the best. The managers and nail techs are friendly and I've never had to wait to be seen as a walk in. Heated and cooled massage chairs are a really nice touch too. The prices are pretty average here. They ofer water but no wine which is what prevents me from giving them 5 stars :-) read more

I waited for someone to speak to me when I came in and then once in did tell them what I wanted, they put me in a chair and I waited for 25 minutes. The technician was clearly in a rush and did my pedicure in record time, never speaking to me and then just getting up when he was done. I didn't get my eye brow wax. My technician took her time with me, gave a great massage, and everything looks great! I was so relaxed by the end I thought I was in danger of falling asleep! Walking in there was a strong chemical odor which almost turned me away alone. I was helped immediately and decided on pink ombré powder nails and asked for mostly pink (which was not honored). I would post a picture... but most of my nails have popped off since then (it was about 2 weeks ago). The nail tech was very rough and filed down most of my actual nail to the meat, which I kept wincing at, asking her to stop... but I guess she couldn't help it. I was so ready to leave I didn't even want to ask her to file down the clumped up powder she left under my nail (I shouldn't have to ask but if you come here expect to babysit every step of the way). To top it off the ombré was not even blended well. Don't even get me started on their lack of cleanliness during the process. Overall: Absolutely not worth it. read more

My boyfriend and I went in for both of our very first pedicures this weekend. We left the place next door because we had to wait, but this place was empty and we were seen immediately. We were shown to massage chairs and he was asked what channel he wanted to watch on TV which made him relax and enjoy being there (he took some convincing to even go)! We were treated very well, which for a first-timer is important. The only reason I can't give 5 stars is because after we left I was looking at his feet and they still had skin peeling on them - almost like the lady gave up and didn't finish. Totally sucked. Took 2 friends with me. One was "finished" in 20 minutes. "Massage" invoked about 60 seconds of a slight rub. Foot scrub was - not even kidding- less than60 seconds for all of us. With a crappy tiny sponge that did ZERO. one of my friends polish looked like a 4 year old did it. AWFUL waste of money! read more
