I went in with 90 minutes for a pedicure and short white sns. They did great with the time and were nice however it is only two people that work at the shop so they aren't able to consistently able to accommodate their clients. I was excited to leave a review, make a tiktok and come out of my way to get regular service from them but I left disappointed with my manicure. My pedicure was almost perfect! But my nails were uneven (drastically), some of them poorly shaped, there was glue and powder around the rim of my fingers and a few days later my nails are growing back wildly. I wanted to say nothing at first or even hold back about how I really felt about my nails but I was so disappointed especially when it came time to pay. In luxury salons in popular areas I regularly pay 170 (not including tip) for long acrylic nails and gel pedicure. Here I paid 120 (excluding tip) for short-med sns and gel pedicure. Not worth it at all. I tried to reason with her about the quality of work vs what I was to pay but I'm not that type of person so I just paid, cut her tip in half and left. I really want to give them business in this economy but I wouldn't return and if you're particular about your nails. I WOULD NOT come here. You could go somewhere else and get better quality for a similar price. NOT GIVING IM SORRY * also she was carelessly rushing my appt and some of her regulars, she glued the nail to my skin so bad I was in so much pain I had to yell a little bit for her to do something about it. Honestly should've walked out then but I wanted to give the nice lady a chance. I've even filed them down to match more but it's still not giving :( read more

Now I have to do a treatment for many many months and it doesnt go away :/ is the only place I have been since i moved to Alpharetta otherwise i wouldn't even waste my time thinking it could be in another place. I work at a nearby business and have visited this place a few times over the last few years. I mainly get my brows down here by Lee or Le and she is wonderful. If and when I am in a pinch on time I will get a pedicure and my nails done here and Ive had 2 recent horrible experiences. The shop is okay and extremely basic- there is nothing different about this place than any other random nail shop you could choose from google maps. On Friday the 14th I went to get an overlay of my real nails but the technician suggested I get tips since some of my real nails were broken/soften. During the process he repeatedly scraped my skin/cuticle with the tools he used and my "ouch-ing" was never acknowledge by him nor did he apologize. I dont know about you all but for me those scrapes hurt like heck! Moving along I got a simple full set with gel polish and was charged $58 for the full set. I am not a cheap person and I will pay for great service but this shop Is literally basic and subpar so I was very concerned at the final total. I had another run in a few months back where they had over charged me and I told myself I wouldn't be back but due to time constraint I obliged this time. I was told that a full set was $33 plus additional $20 for gel polish which added up to $53. A fee of $5 was accessed to me because of the "length". There absolutely wasnt anything "long" about the nails that I got! They were right about where my natural nails were- See photo below. They are never really busy here and now I am under the impression they price goug any customer that actually comes there to make up for the slow business. $58 for a full set of regular basic acrylic tips with gel polish is ridiculous. Under no circumstances will I ever return here. Ive gotten better overall service at many other places for cheaper than what they charged to charge me. Finally the owner agreed to take off the $5 for length because he knew it was nothing but a money grab! They were not long whatsoever read more

I only came here for a pedicure, so I can't give too extensive of a review. However when I came in, I was immediately seated at a chair. What I loved about my experience was that I wasn't in the foot massager for 30 minutes simply because the person doing my feet wasn't actually available yet. The lady knew I was on my lunch break and had me in and out in 30 minutes. She did a good job so I wouldn't be opposed to going back. read more

I don't know why I keep running into so-so nail salons. This 2-star rating is purely based on my nail tech not the place itself. The place looks clean, has a good selection of gel nail colors and is spacious. Now, my nail tech lady on the other hand... that's a different story. I went in for a gel color change so it should've been easy peasy but not only did she file my skin off (nail was too short to file anymore), she starting filing them all in an oval shape without asking me what shape I wanted! The entire time she doesn't say two words to me. It was awkwardly silent and then she painted on my skin multiple times! I had to tell her and she would file the polish off and I kid you not - she chuckled. It was a horrible experience. The other client next to me had to keep telling her nail tech to stop filing her nails too bc it was already short. Wtf, are these employees blind? But I have to say that The two males in there, the one that did my sisters nails- he was awesome with her. The other male- think the manager, he was nice too. If you choose to go, ask for the guys. I live in the area. I usually go to Vnails. But because it was around 6:30 they were about to close/ probably not taking walk-in appointments so I gave this shop a try. I was the only person in there at first and there are only 2 people in the shop. I got a manicure and pedicure. They gave me good attention at first( it appears only 2 people work there). I now realized during my pedicure I did not get my feet scrubbed with a pumice stone or anything. My nails are atrocious. Mimi was rushing it seems(somebody came in while I was getting my nails done). One of my nails came out so crooked I had to come back 2 days later to get it fixed. Tbh I'm still not satisfied with quality for the price I paid. Attached are photos I showed her what I wanted and photos of what I got. If you're in the area just go to vnails. This was my first visit to Mimi's as I continue on my quest to find a good nail salon near my home. Well I think I just may have succeeded in my quest today. I made an appointment over the telephone and asked to have a pedi and fill at the same time. They were able to accommodate me within thirty minutes. When I arrived I was promptly greeted by Mimi, who led me to the vast array of nail colors. I was immediately seated in a comfortable massage chair and greeted by one of the sweetest women I have met -- Lily. Lily said she would be doing my pedicure. She brought me water and made certain my chair was comfortable for me. LT, my nail technician, arrived shortly thereafter, and after specifying my needs, began working diligently. The atmosphere is clean and inviting. The shop is nice and quiet with relaxing music in the background. What I really appreciated was the fact that I was not sitting in the middle of a conversation between two people whose language I do not speak. One of my pet peeves at nail salons is having my techs carry on a loud conversation in another language amongst themselves in my presence. It is rude and disrespectful. Alas, this was not the case today. LT did an EXCELLENT job on my nails. I could not be any happier. He is very knowledgeable, quick at his job, and friendly. Lily is as sweet as can be. The quality of service is disappointingly poor. This is my second visit and I didn't like how my nails were polished before but I decided to give it a second chance bc the location is convenient. Never again!!!! I paid $30 for not even a real manicure/gel nails. He did the bare minimum and had the nerve to tell me how to sign the receipt to add a tip!!!! I will never come back to this establishment. My nails look extremely sloppy. He was trying to move too fast which is why the polish looks bulky and does not even cover all of my nail!!!!! Came in after work for an SNS manicure. Was in and out in about 35 minutes. Mr. Eltsy did a great job on my nails. They are shaped perfectly, thin, and close to the cuticle. This is my new go to salon. 2nd visit. I was treated by Lin and again, 5 stars. I was very indecisive on the color. I chose two kept changing my mind between two neutral colors on the end. I used to come to this nail salon all the time to get SNS nails. I used to get them very long and they were never more than $50. Yesterday, I got my nails done there for the first time in a few months and got acrylics with gel. The lady who did them made them way too short like nubs on my fingers. I asked for medium length but square shaped. Not only were they too short, but they cost me $53 not including tip!! I am outrageously disappointed with the outcome of my nails, but I couldn't say anything because the lady doing my nails kept whispering to me that I had to tell the man at the counter that she did a good job. Man I call myself trying some place new and closer to where I live......yelp!!!! Bad Idea.....They did a poor job, Not only on my feet but a simple manicure with gel polish was jacked up...two of my nails bubbly and the gel peeling and I jus left a couple hours ago. The lady who did my feet cut one of my big toe nails too short..SMH...and they had the nerve to charge me for taking off the gel polish off my feet. Where I normally go they do not charge to remove the gel from my feet or my fingers....Then she charged me for something she rubbed on my legs that I did not ask for, crap that Most places use in the first place...Just a bad experience and poor job on my hands and feet. Mimi's is the best! They have a great selection of colors, and the salon is very clean. Kelly was my nail technician. She was kind, friendly, and very skilled. My biggest fear when getting my nails done is that my cuticles will be cut too short, leaving my skin sore and bleeding. That is not the case at Mimi's!
