I get pedicures here often. I normally give this Spa a 5 star rating and leave generous tips but today's visit wasn't that great. It seems the prices may be going up and the quality of the treatments going down. I hope that isn't the case. I have been seeing Dyana since I was 13 years old. I'm 26 now, and I will be seeing her for the rest of my life. She is the most incredible nail artist I have ever encountered. To say Dyana is a master of her craft is an understatement. Despite my refusal to ever give my nails a break from being polished, my nails remain healthy, strong, and long. I can go for at least a month in between seeing her, and not a single one of my nails will have chipped or broken. They always remain in perfect condition - perfectly shaped, long, and just generally flawless. She transformed my eyebrows from being nearly non-existent to being full and beautifully shaped. The two compliments I receive most often when in public are: "your nails are so cute!" and "you have amazing eyebrows!", both of which are entirely her doing. When I went to college in Tennessee, I would travel back to Georgia once a month just to see Dyana. And it was worth the three hour drive. Every single time. Now I live ITP, and I still drive to see Dyana any time I need my nails or brows done and I always will. Not only is she an incredible nail technician, but she is also an incredible human and a joy to get to spend an hour with. She is kind and patient (and boy oh boy has she needed to be patient with me during my reckless teenage years when I was breaking my nails and plucking my eyebrows into oblivion) and so much fun to get to chat with. Every time I go into the salon, I walk in feeling disheveled and overwhelmed by the stress of work and life, and I walk out feeling calm and beautiful. TLDR: Book an appointment with Dyana. There's no better way to compare the service you got versus what others get/got simply by sitting next to them and starting at the same time...which is why I'm baffled about the experience my wife I and had here. We booked appointments for pedicures and arrived 10 minutes early. We arrived moments before what seemed to be a walk-in that also wanted a pedicure. After immediately seating her, we could tell something was wrong by the way the owner/manager acted when he came behind the counter to help his suddenly confused staff that were checking us in. From what we could tell, they were now short one pedicurist, which is why they told us to sit and wait for a minute. A few minute later--and after grabbing one of the manicurist that apparently was at the end of her shift--we were brought to our pedicure stations. My wife and I asked for the same pedicure service (paraffin wax). It's worth nothing that almost as soon as we sat, another person was seated nearby for a pedicure. My pedicure (with the manicurist) was done in less than 20 minutes. As soon as she finished, she grabbed her purse and bolted for the door. Meanwhile, my wife's pedicure took nearly another half hour to finish (give or take a few minutes for the quick-dry nail polish to set). Likewise, that other customer was still get work done on her. When we were at the counter to check out and pay, the owner/manager asked how we liked our pedicures. My wife said that although her's was good (thus the two stars instead of just one), she said she didn't understand why mine was so short. I then mentioned that I wasn't entire delighted with the work that got done either (I wasn't asked how I wanted my nails, I wanted them much shorter and buffed). The manager's response was nothing more than "Hmm, I'll need to say something to [the manicurist]." There was no apology, no offer to make it right by offering a comp or a discount...nothing! Reviews of nearby competitors indicate there are several other comparable options available, and perhaps at lower prices. This is certainly no way get a first-time customer to even consider returning or make recommendations for this place. Naturally, I do not. read more

Went back to Mega Nails after being gone since before covid. I am so happy I did! Lana did my pink and white acrylic set. She took off the old nasty acrylic that was there and gave me beautiful hands again. She was very gentle and meticulous about making sure they were exactly what I wanted. Lana is now my nail lady!! Mega Disappointed!! I chose to try out this nail salon yesterday for the first time because it had a lot of good reviews and it was a relatively short drive from me. I was hoping to find a new place to receive a pedicure and a SNS manicure, but sadly I just found a place that doesn't value their customers. To sum up my review, the following is a list of pros and cons of my first (and last) experience at Mega Nails on Holcomb Bridge: Pros- I was a walk-in & they were able to fit me in on Labor Day (props for availability on a holiday), it appeared to be clean, & they have a wide selection of colors, Emily did correct my pedicure w/a new polish today when I returned to Mega Nails. (2 stars for these pros, 1 of which is bc Emily fixed my toes). Cons- As a walk-in, my pedicure was rushed & careless (definitely showed in the end result, poor polish job w/bubbles & holes) if there wasn't time to give me a pedi & mani then it should've been said, I spent 2.5 hrs there & my SNS manicure was terrible, both in service & appearance, (No type of hand/arm massage, 6 fingers bleeding by the end, messy w/no clean off of hands/arms, misshaped, square nails when I asked for rounded & large noticeable gaps no natural look whatsoever, and even worse than all of that is the male owner lacked interest in correcting this situation. Emily tried her best to fix my nails, but my fingers were too scraped/sore from yesterday that she couldn't do much, & although they looked better than before they're still not good. The other owner cut me off trying to explain my concerns, his attempt at a resolution was to offer me a 20% discount off of my next service, he chose not to refund, discount or even offer that 20% off for THIS poor experience...that's some pretty poor customer appreciation and overall just not good business! I returned to them today to at least give the chance to do the right thing, I guess they would've if they really appreciated customers. See pics & decide if it's worth 4.5 hrs at the salon & $71! There definitely will not be a next time for me! * In response to the owner reply- I'm not going to go back-and-forth about it, I get that you'll try to save face, but what you said is not accurate- I had my pedicure first and had my colors picked out before the pedicure and never changed the color. I said the pedicure was rushed and careless, the manicure was just sloppy and careless- more time was taken but not because of attention to detail or standard of service. I stated in the pros that my pedicure was corrected with new color. There was an attempt to improve my fingernails as much as could be, but being better doesn't mean they're good. I understand if you have a no refund policy, however offering a future discount and not a discount on this dissatisfactory experience (even after I asked) shows customer satisfaction is not the priority. I don't believe you're deliberately driving me away, but your business principles have. read more

I have been coming here for about a year. About the salon; Its a luxury salon with lots of lights, chandeliers, clean restrooms, nice floors, comfortable chairs. About Sanitation; It comes first. I am absolutely paranoiac with my services and always keep my eyes open for cross contamination possibilities. Here at Mega Nails they take sanitation very serious. About staff; I have always been so pleased with everyone my two favorite nail technicians is Emily and Leon. They take their time and are very professional. What a joke. Super disappointed. Went in for a gel mani/pedi, but how the pedicure and manicure were going I was not about to pay an extra $15 each for a poor service. I told the lady (Ha) doing my pedicure that I had ingrowns and she said something and then didn't take them out. I asked about the free callous treatment they had advertised outside for early bird and she said "oh I'll ask" then never asked. All in all she did an ok job, but I'm prone to ingrowns so finding someone to take them out is super important to me. Massage is important as well, it was just ok. The girl doing my manicure, (Dee or Destiny) didn't have me soak my nails like every other time I've gotten a manicure before. Then clipped them, filed them and then waited for me to be done with my pedicure to do my "gel" manicure. I then told the owner I didn't want gel, just wanted regular mani/pedi. Mind you, the manicurist hadn't wet them, oiled the cuticle, NOTHING and that's why I changed my mind from gel to regular. Then Dee came back to my chair to do the manicure, meanwhile calling to set up a doctors appointment for herself as she's putting clear polish on my nails. SUPER unprofessional. Started painting and spilt polish on my finger, which is fine, it happens, but then went to go get a napkin and acetone to clean it off, along with cleaning off other polish on my skin... with a napkin. Usually it's done with a brush and acetone, thought that was super weird because it didn't come off around my nails anyway? As I'm sitting waiting for my nails to dry the owner comes over and asks how everything is and I said to be honest, not great. The owner tried to make an excuse saying they thought I was getting a gel manicure that's why my nails look bad, but why would that matter at all? You still soak your nails, get oil on cuticle and get a massage with regular and gel. And I received none of that. The massage especially, is the most disappointing part because that's what makes going to get a mani/pedi enjoyable. I waited to see if she'd do it after she got done painting my nails, but just got her stuff and went on to the next customer. I'm glad the owner did the right thing and didn't charge me for the poor manicure job, but my pedicure was still $28 for the bare minimum. I wouldn't waste your time coming here. Unfortunately, I waited until after my vacation to see the progress of how the nails would hold up. We will start with the cons: 1) I got my nails done Nov 5th. It is Nov 27th and two of my nails have completely broken off. 2) My nails were filed too thin. I can tell they didn't use the SNS products I am accustomed to at other locations before my nail barely grew and they only got weaker, not stronger. I was on the fence about doing SNS to begin with and was reassured by the manager that it was a healthy option. It is only healthy if the person doing your nails doesn't buff your actual nail to death. No fault of the owner but the technician. 3)It didn't look natural. Too much powder product (feel like it was a gel powder and not actually sns materials). Again, I been getting my nails done enough to know what is and isn't SNS and how my nails would behave with the material. 4)Too long of a service. Being there it took them 2.5 hours to do hands and feet. It just felt long to me compared to other place who do it in 1.5 hours. Now for Pros: 1) All clean materials were used. The basin was covered in plastic, they use new nail supplies and the place is kept clean 2) The pedicure was great. I will vouch to go to them for pedicures at this time. 3) They ask you questions. They want to know what it is you want and how you want it. 4) They allow for walk ins which was convenient to me. 5) The staff was nice for the most part. All in all would I try it again? Maybe.... not this go ahead for sns but other services like eyebrows and pedicures yes. read more

I will never come here again. I came Tuesday Nov. 16 to get a fill-in & my nail broke Thursday Nov. 18. I came back today, Sunday (Nov. 21) to get it fixed & the ladies were very hesitant to serve me. They kept asking me "Where did you get your nails done?" "Who did it?" , "Are you sure it was this Tuesday?", so finally, I suggested that they pull up my last visit by my phone number. They ignored that suggestion & continued with their questions. When the lady started to fix my nail, she calls her coworker over to critique my nails & proceeds to leave me here waiting for my nail to dry, just to start on someone who came in after me. They stood over me talking & pointing for about 3 minutes, which made me feel uncomfortable. Now, I gave this place another chance after rushing on my nails the VERY first time I came. Got a gel manicure with Lynn on Saturday. I would like to start off with how long it took. It took 1.5 hours to remove the sns and to apply a gel manicure. She soaked my fingers in a plastic bag with chemical solution for about an hour, gradually removing the sns layers off and placing my entire hand back into the liquid filled bag. She scraped a chunk of skin off my left pinky with the nail file which still hurts badly two days later. My skin has been peeling non-stop which I assume is from the damage to my skin due to the chemicals. I have never experienced this before and do not recommend this salon. They WILL damage your skin!! read more

I love this nail salon! It is very large, beautifully designed, awesome massage chairs and extremely clean. Another thing that I love is you can pay extra ($1 per minute) for a massage and they do a fabulous job. A 5 minute massage is included with your pedicure, but I splurged and paid for an extra 20 minutes and did not regret it! They also offer water, soda or wine. read more
