Took entirely too long for the hostess to run the water in the pedicure tub

Shemeka B.

Visited 3/31/18 Chances are I will not return to this nail shop. Considering I live almost 1hr away, I only stopped here while getting my vehicle serviced at the Dealership. I entered the Shop and the smell of chemicals and products was not as overwhelming as most shops which is a plus. There were only 4 Employees working and 1 male Hostess. They needed extra help today! Considering this is the begging of Spring and Ladies are ready to start I waited almost 15 for the Male Hostess to even run the water in the pedicure chair and an additional 20 to began my services. Once she began my Pedicure she sped through it... which was not fair to me because I waited patiently.

My favorite nail shop! The tech are awesome. They really take their time to make sure you're happy with their work. They relax me so much with the pedicure massage, I almost always take a nap

Always 5 stars every single time! Kevin and Lena are amazing!! My nails always look gorgeous and last the entire time until fill in, (even if I'm bad and wait too long), their pedicures are to die for I love the one with the hot stone massage! And she does relaxing facials in the back with eyebrow waxing. I feel so soothed and comforted here ! What more could you ask for?

I absolutely loved my experience at this nail salon! First thing I noticed was the cleanliness of the salon, the friendly staff, and how quickly I was seated for my mani pedi. When I was done, my SNS nails were gorgeous! I can absolutely say I will be a repeat customer! I highly recommend this salon. Great pricing too!

Went on Sunday about noon. I was the only client until 1:30. Had two girls working on my hands and feet. Great massage!! Also got eyebrows done $8. They only have 2 types pedicures, regular or deluxe. The deluxe is $30 so I treated myself also. Clean location with the plastic liners in every tub for each client. Very sanitary. Gel manicure $25. $5 tip= $68. Nice place

SNS on real nails!! Perfect! Not too think not thin.

They are amazing! They provided next-level customer service to us when I went with my friend and her 6-year-old daughter while visiting Atlanta. They made the little girl's first gel experience really fun and were extra kind to her. I can't wait to return next time I'm in town! read more

Did a really nice job. I'm not an expert but I am planning to return. Customer service was great. Friendly and. Nonintrusive. Nails looked good maybe a little uneven. I love the instant dry gel nails. Availability and atmosphere were excellent. The housekeeping was pretty good. On my second visit they didn't apply as much nail polish. Two of my nails broke. The technician also clipped my cuticles too low. Resulting in some bleeding. I was not so happy with this visit. Just so you know. read more

Right now they are running a special of 20% off total services. I went in with a friend for a full set and a pedicure and for my brows. The fact that i was able to get my feet and nails done at the same time was a big plus for me! This might just be me, but if I am going to have to wait for a significant amount of time, I would like to know that going in. I went over lunch on a Thursday. I was greeted and seated right away. She put acetone on my nails to soak and left me there to START another person's pedicure. 45 minutes later, still soaking in acetone, I walked out. She was also making and taking personal phone calls on speaker phone while tending to me and the other people in the shop. Will not return. read more

Great place! First time client-I wanted to try because of all the wonderful reviews. I was pleasantly surprised to walk in with no appt. at 4:00pm and be instantly seated for my service. Sally did my pedicure. She was very professional and friendly and she listened to my needs. The salon is clean and relaxing. ( I enjoyed the complimentary water). Oh, how I hate to post this! Since my last review they must have changed hands at least five times, but positive. Went in today & another change, for the worst! Charged me 45.00 for a French pedi and an American mani which they clearly don't have a clue how to do. My nails were painted pink! When I complained & told new owner, he said they r using better product, I told him u should put sign in front saying, new owner, better product & higher prices, he laughed & told me to have a nice day. Never again! My husband told me I should go back, (that's a man for u),but I will never, ever, grace their doors again! read more

Very disappointed in this nail salon! Went there for the first time after reading positive reviews and arrived on a late Saturday afternoon around 5:30. It was clean and quiet with five people in the pedicure chairs, four employees working on them, and no one waiting. The lady asked me to pick out a color and prepared a place for me to sit. She said to wait a little bit and someone would help me. Well, I waited and waited and waited. She came back after 30 minutes and said not much longer but after almost an hour, I put my sandals on and left. I understand when you are short staffed but it is common customer service to let someone know it will be at least an hour wait. When I got up and left, she said it won't be much longer. No apologies, attempt to make up the time, or discount on my next visit. I hope regulars are treated differently because I won't be back. There are too many good nail salons around that value my time and business. read more

Great prices and a nice atmosphere, but the service itself wasn't great. I stopped in for a deluxe pedicure and gel manicure. Polish is sloppy (on my cuticles, not all the way back on my nail...it looks like I've already had this manicure for a few days and they've grown out). The technician also filled a couple of my nails too hard and I have open sores around my nail beds. Treating with Neosporin and Band-Aids and hoping that they're equipment is relatively clean. I won't be back here. read more

This place really is poor. Got a messy, shoddy gel manicure. The cuticle is all jagged and is chipping 1 week in. The worst part was the sadistic pedicurist who burned my feet by slopping a burning hot towel down on the top of them. The manicurist kept telling me how awesome this salon is because he plays 80's music from his iPod. They all kept telling me to come back. I will never go back there. I am amazed how many good reviews this place had as my experience was so awful! read more

Venus Nail Salon (which used to be Dori's Nail Salon) is tucked in the same shopping plaza as Longhorn Steakhouse. They're the only salon I've found on Mansell Road which is right around the corner from home so it's convenient. But it's not just the quick drive that makes Venus worth the visit for me, it's the fact that every time I am there, I get attentive service. I haven't had a single employee there waste a session without a smile and an offer of anything I might want to add to the relaxation and enjoyment of my massages, manicures and pedicures. They do wonderfully precise work because they care about the final look of their service, and that means I get weeks of compliments on my beautiful nails. And I mean LOTS of compliments. So there's nowhere else I'd go. Because genuine smiles, care over details and weeks of compliments is something you don't pass up. read more

I've been coming to this nail salon since I relocated to North Atlanta two years ago. Everyone is nice and patient. The environment is peaceful and very relaxing. I'm guilty of falling asleep to the calming music. The new manager, Vincent, is my manicurist. I get a gel overlay on my real nails and the polish lasts forever! The pedicures are awesome too. I prefer the deluxe with the massage and warm rocks. I like the fact that I never have to wait more than a few minutes, if that. I usually call ahead and they'll let me know the best time to come or they'll tell me to come on in. It's the only nail salon that I will visit in Atlanta. read more

Great nail salon. The owner and workers here are very friendly. If you need to find a nice, relaxing place to get your nails done, this is it! It is very nice and clean here. The atmosphere is very smooth. They have plenty of colors to choose from and they have a wide variety of gel colors. I also wanted to add that the designs here are great. I loved this place but went there today and it was boarded up and closed. No sign on the door. Did they suddenly go out of business?

I came midday, so there was no wait at all. I was greeted immediately and with a friendly smile. Yuna and I had a great conversation, and my nails look perfect! She wasn't rough when removing the old dip color, and she didn't rub my nail beds raw. Just all around clean, professional, and high quality work. Tons of services available, so I plan to return for a pedi with the extra massage. For the color change in dip, the price was very reasonable. Only took a star off as I was not offered a beverage when I checked in, but I heard another lady come in after me who was. A little water would've been nice.

I have been seeing Dyana since I was 13 years old. I'm 26 now, and I will be seeing her for the…read morerest of my life. She is the most incredible nail artist I have ever encountered. To say Dyana is a master of her craft is an understatement. Despite my refusal to ever give my nails a break from being polished, my nails remain healthy, strong, and long. I can go for at least a month in between seeing her, and not a single one of my nails will have chipped or broken. They always remain in perfect condition - perfectly shaped, long, and just generally flawless. She transformed my eyebrows from being nearly non-existent to being full and beautifully shaped. The two compliments I receive most often when in public are: "your nails are so cute!" and "you have amazing eyebrows!", both of which are entirely her doing. When I went to college in Tennessee, I would travel back to Georgia once a month just to see Dyana. And it was worth the three hour drive. Every single time. Now I live ITP, and I still drive to see Dyana any time I need my nails or brows done and I always will. Not only is she an incredible nail technician, but she is also an incredible human and a joy to get to spend an hour with. She is kind and patient (and boy oh boy has she needed to be patient with me during my reckless teenage years when I was breaking my nails and plucking my eyebrows into oblivion) and so much fun to get to chat with. Every time I go into the salon, I walk in feeling disheveled and overwhelmed by the stress of work and life, and I walk out feeling calm and beautiful. TLDR: Book an appointment with Dyana. You won't regret it. She's amazing.

The massage and pedicure were amazing, and I was very happy with the quality of the work. I chose short, coffin-shaped French tip nails, and I loved how they turned out. Before starting, I was informed that the extra nail on my big toe would be an additional $10, which I understood and agreed to. However, when it came time to pay, my bill was about $50 higher than expected. I was then told there was an extra $10 charge for the coffin shape, even though I had been told beforehand there was no additional charge for that. I was also charged $10 for length, despite my nails being short, and another $10 for the French tip, even though the package I selected already included French tips. When I questioned the charges, it seemed there was some confusion among the staff. Instead of correcting what appeared to be an error, the charges were explained in a way that still didn't fully account for the total. I left feeling unclear about where the additional costs came from. Unfortunately, that experience lost me as a customer. It was disappointing because I had just moved to the area and was hoping this would become my regular nail salon. Paying $120 for basic short French tip nails, with so many unexpected extra charges, did not feel transparent or professional. Out of respect for their business, I didn't make a scene in the store and still left a tip. However, I do hope they improve their pricing transparency so future customers know exactly what to expect.

En Vogue Nails & Day Spa - North Point Mall, Atlanta…read more En Vogue Nails & Day Spa is the newest addition to Amy's series of successful, well-managed nail salons around the Atlanta area. I had the pleasure of bringing my family here on their grand opening day for pedicure and manicure services -- and they truly impressed us. The space itself is beautiful and thoughtfully designed. From the bright white interior with marble-style flooring, to the modern chandeliers, recessed lighting, and soft grey walls accented with darker 3D wave panels -- the whole salon feels fresh, modern, and relaxing. The pedicure chairs are top-of-the-line with massage features and all the latest functionality to ensure both comfort and cleanliness, giving it a true spa feel. Service-wise, Amy's years of experience running other locations really shows. Even though this is a new salon, the professionalism, attention to detail, and high standards match the reputation of her sister locations. My family and I were genuinely thrilled with the results and the overall experience. Conveniently located in North Point Mall, with entrances accessible from both inside the mall and the outside parking lot, it's easy to stop in whether you're shopping or just looking for some quality self-care. In conclusion: Congratulations to Amy and her team for another successful expansion. It's exciting to see her continue to bring excellent service and beautiful salons to the Atlanta community. Highly recommended!

And I was offered complimentary refreshments several times - to which I graciously accepted! The only other thing I can say is WOW! I can't WAIT to visit again! Also, my nails speak for themselves!

Dora is not only incredibly talented, but also deeply attentive to her clients' needs. She took her time explaining the halal manicure process, using water-permeable polish and ensuring everything was wudhu-friendly without compromising on beauty or quality. The Russian manicure was detailed, clean, and my nails have never looked this flawless! On top of that, Dora shaped my eyebrows with such precision and care--they look natural, lifted, and beautifully defined. Her eye for symmetry is amazing.
