I asked how long it would take and they said 30-45 mins l, but they couldn't promise that time. I said I'd have to reschedule, and asked about all those 4:00-6:00 appointments on their scheduling site. They informed they don't take anything after 4:00 pm. Seriously? Even an oil change? That shouldn't take more than 15 minutes!

Wasn't good news but he gave me 2 options. First was the minimum that needed to be done. Second was an additional item that really should be done. All said and done, more than I wanted to spend but I still feel he was very fair in his pricing. Been driving the van for a few days now and am very happy with the results. Plus, I have the peace of mind knowing I won't be chewing up my tires every few thousand miles. Just as a side note. I did research Cortez Car Care and discovered something amazing. They have been members of the BBB for 23 yrs this year and have not had one single complaint lodged against them in all that time. In any auto related field, especially repair/maintenance, that is a record to be very proud of. They are professional, keep you informed every step of the way, do great work, for a fair price, stand behind their work, and most of all are honest. I have spoken with the owner more than once, as it is family owned, and he is usually there. But one time that I spoke with him that stood out to me that they were different. My stepson's power steering stopped working. I called and I was about to have it towed in as it was parked at a restaurant. The owner got on the phone with me and asked me what year and model the car was. I told him, he asked me if the car had driven through any heavy puddles. I told him it had been raining, so I assumed so. He told me that model is notorious for the sensors getting wet and causing issues with the rack and pinion steering. He said, let it sit for a couple hours and dry out a bit. It should resolve the problem, and it did. He didn't have to tell me that. He could've let me have it towed in and just let it sit and dry and tell me he fixed it and taken me for a ride, but he didn't. That's honesty. I highly recommend this place to all my friends and family, and to anyone else who reads this review.

I'll be bringing all my vehicles here for needed services. I watched them do an oil change on another customer's vehicle and they are very knowledgeable at what they do! They had him in and out in a very timely manner too! I just moved back to this area two years ago and I used to bring my diesel here for oil changes 17 years ago. There was an older man here that ran the place and he was just a really nice guy that ran a very efficient operation. I was talking to one of the techs and asked about him. He said he was one of those that worked under him and after he retired he took over and has kept it going!!! I was really glad to hear that because it just seems he picked up right where the other had dropped off. It's still a very efficient business!!!

This time around it took 45min to say your tires are to worn to patch(not a problem, i understand) car was in bay for at least half of that time. I told desk girl it shoudlnt take 45 min to measure tread depth and it hurt her feelings. She quit talking when said give me my keys, real tire pro. As i was leaving and tech was removing wrong wheel and had wrong work ticket attached to my vehicle, he thought I was getting 4 new tires. They couldn't give me tires at this point.
