Terrible. I'm so sore now and I feel like I'm bruised from the massage. Never going back!

I have had great results every time I have come here. I just had a chair massage and feel so much better. I've had full body and foot massages here, as well, and every massage therapist has been very respectful of my modesty and very professional. ZERO star rating!!!! Why do you have to give them one star? This place is horrible. First off I don't like being messaged by a man, so I requested a woman. The guy became angry and replied "no woman just man." So my wife asks how long for a woman. Obviously frustrated the guy says 40 minutes. Which was confusing due to the fact there were women walking around. Still we went back in 40 minutes and was told a woman was available. We went to a open room with the beds 2 feet apart were I was told by a man to lie down. I got on the massage bed and he proceed to try to massage me. I was about to walk out when my wife said wait we asked for a woman? He became angry threw his hands up in the air told me something in Chinese I'm guessing was "fuck you" and walked away. The other guys massaging right next to me looked at me in disgust and shook their head while they started talking about me in Chinese. I know they were taking about me cause they were staring strait at me while they were talking. A women came out and started to massage me by this time sorry to say there was no "RELAXATION AT THIS STATION" she dug her elbow into my back and spine horrible pain! while talking in Chinese the whole massage obviously talking about me. What else would be important enough to talk about while your working? I stayed because my wife tried to set up this massage. Plus, during my massage due to the tables being so close the guy massaging next to me kept rubbing his legs up on my arm. I couldn't wait to leave this place. Will never go back. I've been going here for 10 years off and on. It's a hit or miss on a good massage. Currently, I like going to Anna. she a bit rough if you have knots and back pain. I've heard other clients say, " she's too rough and the massage wasn't relaxing." She's my person! Lastly, if you use to go there and haven't been in a year or two. I've been frequenting this establishment, and particular location, for years. Wendy is by far my wife's and my favorite. However, within the last year, the quality of massage has significantly depreciated while the prices remain the same. If the massage is going to be as terrible as my wife's and mine were today, then I'd be surprised if this place is still in business in the next couple years. First of all, she selected a level 2 and I selected a level 3. We've both been accustomed to massages for over a decade and today was inexcusable with regard to the complete disregard for a client's comfort. The masseuses didn't pay any attention to our physical responses (no I didn't say "too hard" because they haven't given me the impression based on multiple interactions that they speak English outside of transactional English), and it really is disappointing when you're staring at a bottle of lotion through the face cut-out in the table that would clearly make the rubbing of my neck not feel like a grave was being dug, yet it isn't used...not once! Second, there's no reason why we should be treated like an inconvenience because we don't have cash for a tip even though we're happy to tip with our card (this is the 21st century). And on that note, don't tell me to bring cash and act ungrateful for the tip. Instead, figure out your point of sale processing so that you can accommodate the people that spend money in your establishment. I worked in the service industry for years and I understand wanting to avoid paying taxes where you can, but the tax system only works when everyone pays in. Overall, the massage today that both my wife and I received from two different people was absolutely and inexcusably awful; I wouldn't wish our experience on anyone and this place has now lost customers for life. Do yourself a favor and spend the extra money to get a massage from someone that actually cares about your experience and doesn't treat you like just a number. Now we have 40 minutes of our life, plus the time I spent to write this review that we'll never get back lol. *Update: Now my back is out and I have to leave work to go get it fixed with accupuncture. I had the worst experience at this place. Some guy with a long ponytail was the person I got stuck with. NOT only did he burp super loud 2 times during my massage, another staff member was sitting close by snoring. Ponytail dude also sat on the side of the table durning my massage, I have had several massages and never had someone sit for on the table with me!! Then at the end when paying insisted I pay him a tip in cash. I wanted to put all of it on a card and he said, " I saw money in your wallet'" Conveniently, he could say that but every other question he didn't understand. There are some employees at this location that do a great job, and are professionals and kind. Unfortunately, the ones who are prejudice, will make fun of you while you are right there and are too busy snickering like school boys with their friends to pay attention, out weigh the good. This place generally has bad reviews so I was hesitant to come back after not having been here for years. In the past I've felt they were too rough and other reviews suggested that. Today I had a good experience. I choose level 1, 20 min chair massage. I felt the massage was a level 1 intensity so that was good, because I bruise easily. I really have no complaints other than I'd like to see them sanitize the chairs. They might do it but I didn't see them do it. Overall I left feeling much better than when I arrived. read more

* this is a lengthy review but please read until the end, the end of my experience makes me want to get this place shut down* My mother and father in law frequently go to this massage place so I thought I would give it a try this evening because it was the closest to my home. I regret my decision because my experience was TERRIBLE. I walk in and am not greeted or directed to sign into the clipboard (I don't expect must out of my customer service experience but a simply "hello" wouldn't hurt) I am then approached by a man who said "okay" and I assume wanted me to follow him. Once at the massage table, he doesn't give me any direction on what he wants me to do. I ask him where I should put my keys, wallet and eyeglasses, so he gives me a bucket and then says "lay". So i lay down expecting to be relaxed and feel blissful but no, as he starts "massaging" (more like torturing) he begins having a conversation with the man next to him. He proceeds to talk for a good portion of my massage which frustrates me when I am paying for relaxation. The massage portion was bare-able in some places and painful in others; though I selected a 1 for pressure. After my massage, he says "done" and I tell him thank you. I am waiting for him to get my bucket of items with my glasses, keys and wallet but he does not. So I get on my hands and knees and get the bucket from under the massage table. So rude!! Then he walks me over to the counter to pay. He immediately points to a sign that says "cash tips only". I give him my Visa card to pay for my $31 massage and he shakes his head no. I am confused so I ask do you not take Visa card? And he laughs at me and keeps pointing to the cash tip sign. I say I don't have any cash. Then another man comes up to me and hands me a calculator and types in $31 and says "how much tip you gunna give" I should have said "no tip, my experience was terrible" but to be kind I said "$2" and typed it into the calculator. The man who massages me looks upset and yells something in a another language. When my receipt prints out he kind of throws it my direction and says "sign" and I sign. When my copy of the receipt prints he throws that and my card at me. Like literally threw it at me. I'm so beyond upset that they treat people like that. I was in disbelief, I will not only not be returning but will be spreading the word to others to stay away from this establishment. read more

I have been to this place a couple times and I am just fed up. I keep thinking next time it'll be better but I need to stop kidding myself. The lady was aggressive with moving my body. She left for about 5 minutes in between the massage. She couldn't stop yawning and talking to other workers. The worst part was she stopped the massage 6 minutes before my time! Massage is good and I go regularly because it's close and convenient... However here are my seriosi complaints: 1. Last time I went, I signed a $5 tip on my credit card but saw it come up on my credit card bill as a $10 tip! They tipped themselves extra $5. When I went back and asked/ showed them the discrepancy they told me no one spoke enough English to help me and to call a number on a card. Unacceptable!! 2. The towels/ blankets you lay on are my washed between clients! Concerning! I'm honestly not sure the towels for the face are either. I saw this today and not sure I can go back, 3. Massage chairs are cheap and broken. They rock and away with each massage stroke. They don't know how to appropriately adjust them and become very uncomfortable as I'm holding on to not fall rather than relaxing. 4. I've had a kind gentleman who is Actually really good the last 3'times but the overwhelming smell of fresh and stale Cigarette smoke lingers on his clothes and skin and I got in my car and could smell it on me and then for in my car later and my whole car smelled!! Gross! Unacceptable. I have a newborn baby and recent studies show that nicotine lingers on the skin and can have similar effects to second hand smoke... Can't believe I paid for that!? The prices cannot be beat and the massages are pretty good. I call it my drive through massage parlor and it would be the fast food of massages. I love that you can walk in and get treated right away. I have seldom ever waited to be seen. My only quip is that it can be annoying when everyone starts talking in Chinese a bit too loud while I'm getting worked on. It's kind of like getting your nails done at one of those big walk in places. However, I am very forgiving of this and would still highly recommend it. read more

If I could do a no star rating on this place I absolutely would. They are rude, and entitled. I went in for a foot / leg massage, was not offered a menu to look at. I was asked to sign in, so I signed in and chose the service I was wanting and circled 20 minutes. The employee at the front desk laughed in my face, instead of specifying that generally the leg / foot massage is 40-60 minutes. So I asked was 20 minutes not ok, absolutely not knowing the general time of the service. Mind you, no one ever offered a menu for me to look at. It was a semi decent foot massage - not worth $17. when I walked back to the front to pay for the service the employee at the front desk literally did not acknowledge me, the masseuse came over to check me out so I could leave.... I have a $20, got my change, and the employees demanded that I tip them. Under no circumstances would I ever tip for a service that was mediocre with a staff that is so rude and disrespectful. Came here everyday for the last 3 weeks of my pregnancy to try and relax and help w my achy body! Got a 45 min to 1 hour foot massage every time and pretty sure I've tried every massage therapist here and all of them were great! I have never commented on yelp before, but I had to warn patrons of this establishment. I had a massage later in the evening, just before they closed. I had left my watch and wasn't to worried since I would stop by in the morning to pick it up. When I walked in that morning and asked if they had my watch. My massage therapist started yelling at me that I didn't leave my watch! At no time did I accuse her and I just wanted to check where I had gotten my massage. She followed me around yelling at me NO WATCH! NO WATCH! I am no detective, but I felt it seemed a bit suspicious! It's my fault I forgot my watch, but I think her husband is enjoying my engraved 15 years of service award watch! Guess I have to put in another 15 years!!! BE WARNED!!! The guy burped like 5 times. Was talking to himself. Put lotion all over my face, neck and arms like so much of it! And was "massaging" but it wasn't even really a massage! I happen to come to this one because i was in that shopping center and i went to try it. I normally do the one closer to home. It seemed like the guy didn't know what he was doing. I don't feel relaxed. There were two other ppl in there who work there making a lot of noise clearing throats etc. And then when I paid he goes, " you don't have cash for tips? Considering the price and the availability, this place is great. I've been several times and had different people each time. Some are better than others but in the end, they all do a good job. If you go in and get a good masseuse, remember their name and you can request them the next time. And yes, as noted in many of the other reviews, they ask for a tip if you pay by credit card. There's no part on the receipt to include a tip (like a restaurant) so they have to manually add the tip to it. read more

Service now sucks, no one speaks English, and I felt so uncomfortable with a man with long hear whispering in Chinese throughout my whole Swedish massage (in the room). His hands were not placed appropriately and with one missing for part of the massage. So horrible! Not to mention dripping was more revealing than profesional, lastly he said to tip him cash only. I get massages to work things out - I can take a nap at home. So when I ask for a "30-min chair massage, #5 on the intensity scale" I don't want to be disappointed. Let me tell you, this was not a disappointment! Expecting neck and shoulders, with some middle and low back thrown in for good measure I was blown away at what I received for $17 plus tip. "Mike" was literally out of breath a few times working me over - neck and shoulders for sure, full back was covered, even got a good hit on hips, IT-band, a bit of calves, and a great scalp massage. I used to love this place. A little rough but seemed OK. The last couple times I went I was seriously injured. Same guy, Mao. This guy probably was a torture agent in his previous career. The first time he messed me up he rubbed a tendon in my left foot so long and hard that my entire foot swelled up to the point I could not walk without pain pills and Motrin. It took several weeks to resolve. The next time he worked on my left shoulder and the left side of my neck. I'm still suffering from the impingement syndrome he caused and possibly a pinched nerve he caused in my neck from applying extreme and prolonged pressure on one point on the left side of my neck. Do not go here these people have no remorse for when they mess up not even a simple apology. I went in and the guy massaging me was rubbing on my spine and kept rubbing on the spine even after he could feel it and I'm very swollen the next day. I have been getting deep pressure massage for many years but he didn't take enough time to warm up as they should and when I went in to give my feedback and give my complaint the guy who actually spoke English was very rude. All he did was say well you have to know this and this about massage and I said I already know all of this and I do massage myself and I said I would like at least an apology and he gave no apology he kept rubbing away on the person he was giving his service to. I never write reviews but I just had the worst experience. I asked for a medium level full body massage. The man who gave me the massage pushed so hard I was arching my back in pain. It felt like he was pushing my trachea into the massage table. Then while he was massaging my lower back and legs he was sitting down next to me on the table using one arm in a lazy fashion. For the past several years I've frequented the 555 and have found a few preferred masseuses. I have lower back issues and need someone who is aware of that. Today I went in for a massage. Signed in and requested my masseuse. A couple of ladies came in after and signed in requesting the same masseuse for a later time. The company didn't notice this or address the issue. When it was my turn they asked me to change my length of massage to accommodate the later appt. I explained that that isn't typical business practice and should give priority to me since I arrived and scheduled earlier. They wouldn't. I left. So disappointing. read more
