I wish this could be a NEGATIVE rating This was my first time having hardwood floors installed and this company will be the last time I use them if I ever want flooring work done again. I have an elderly mother who is having difficulty lifting up her feet so when she walks she drags her feet. These people installed hardwood floors and initially left the transitions undone because they didn't have the right materials. After waiting for weeks for them to finish the work, then finally came and installed transitions that are a tripping hazard. After installing these current transitions my mother's walking is getting worse and she is becoming more apprehensive in going from room to room, they were contacted to see if there is something they can do to correct these walkways. I got a call from Kim which I couldn't answer right away and in less than 30 seconds I called her back but then she sent my call to voicemail. I left a message but she never called back, I had to call her again. Her tone was of COMPLETE annoyance. I sent her a picture of the height difference and she told me she would get with the installation manager to see what could be done. After a couple of days no communication from her so I reached out. Left a voicemail but she did not return my call so I texted her the next day to remind her that I reached out to her the day before. She then sent a message stating there is nothing they can do. I asked her if they would recommend something that would keep my mom safe from falling. No RESPONSE. THE OVERALL MESSAGE IS THAT THEY ARE NICE AND HELPFUL UNTIL THEY GET THE FINAL PAYMENT. My 50 Floor experience has been a nightmare. I purchased carpet for my new home back in April of last year, and I've been dealing with installation issues ever since! At first, they were helpful in attempting to repair the issues, but since their last attempt was unsuccessful (there are still visible seams in my carpet because their installer cut it too short and attempted to patch it) they have been dodging my calls ever since! I was communicating with Brandon, but it has been two months of attempting to get in touch with him or anyone else that can help, and they refuse to respond. I'm going to give 50Floor until the end of the week to contact me with an acceptable resolution before I file a dispute with the credit card company to get my money back as well as file a complaint against them with the Florida Attorney General Consumer Protection division. read more

I had a floor installed about a year ago i paid it off within 3 months and I tried to get someone to call me about issues that I had with installation at that time . 1. 50 Floor still has not come out to inspect the carpet they installed. We contacted 50Floor multiple times, Dana Mason, because the replacement carpet that was installed 6 WEEKS AGO, is not the same grade carpet that we ordered. In fact, we have the original carpet in 3 other bedrooms, so it is very easy to compare the original carpet we ordered to the replacement carpet that was put in one of the rooms. It is very thin and poor quality, absolutely not what we ordered. Mason has done nothing to rectify the issue. 2. The installers busted the bedframe when they attempted to move it. We told them right away and wrote it on their paperwork. NO ONE HAS REACHED OUT FROM THE CLAIMS DEPARTMENT. It's been 6 weeks! What's the problem. Get us a claims form for the busted bedframe and have someone come out to review the faulty carpet. read more

Simply not good. Sales guy (Jeff) was hours late to our appointment. This should have been our red flag but we went ahead with putting down a deposit. Day of our appointment (we were told the installation crew would be arriving from 9-12) we weren't able to get anyone on the phone. Called the national office and they weren't able to get a hold of anyone in Jacksonville either. As I write this (5 PM) we are still waiting to hear from ANYONE. If you value your time and your money do yourself a favor and find a local business to work with. I'm still waiting to hear back from them on when someone is going to come out and complete the service I paid $2,400 for. read more

We are currently on our 3rd month of waiting to hear back from someone on our warranty. In August had someone come look at the floors they installed December 2023, now still waiting on them to correct our floors. Called with no answer for months, called the corporate office and said they couldn't get ahold of anyone as well, and left a voicemail for the second time. Email from a representative that apparently hasn't paid phone bill because her phone doesn't work now. Available to take our money but when asked to correct an issue on their floors on a promised warranty they all of a sudden don't answer phones. BBB complaint for sure. read more

I have personally used 50 Floors before in the past. And I always recommended them to my sellers. Unfortunately, that will not be the case from now on. From the beginning I felt like we were being given the run around with bad communication, poor customer service and lack of care. It took weeks to get a contract drawn up, once we did we were given an install date for June 3 but was never given a time. I called day before to get a time no one answered. the day off comes along no one is answering calls texts. once I did get someone to answer they said we were not on the schedule even though I had multiple email confirmations. the GM finally called and said the the earliest he could do was a week later and then the scheduling department said 2 weeks later. This just isn't how businesses should be ran. We didn't not feel as if our contract was a priority for anyone and because of that we have canceled and I will no longer be recommending the company in the future for sellers or my own personal properties. If you would like to be given the run around for almost a month and then gaslight this is the company for you. read more

My wife and I hired 50 Floors for our home flooring project because you advertised one day installation and that your workers move furniture and things. I could have laid the flooring myself but have a broken back which would have made it difficult for me. So we thought 50 Floors would work for us. We were so very wrong! Our nightmare started off with M the salesman/GM of the J Florida location. He came to our home did his pitch telling us we don't need LVP just get the regular laminate it's cheaper. We picked out the flooring we wanted and date of installation and signed paperwork for financing. M said that Ma the scheduler would call us to confirm the installation date. He took all of his measurements of our upstairs floor and our staircase. Then he left like he had to be somewhere. Did review the order to make sure he got it right. A couple days later I got the confirmation email for our order and he put the wrong flooring on the order. So I reached out to him through text messages explaining that the order was wrong. Got no reply. Then the following day he called and said he would talk to the warehouse and Ma to make sure the correct flooring was ordered. Then the next day Ma calls me to verify the installation date. While I had her on the phone I asked her what was the flooring that was on our order she said well I see they had tuscan Rowe but change it to Classic skliner which is what we chose. So we verified the the dates and I told her that they could drop the flooring off a couple days before so the flooring could get acclimated to our home temperature. She said ok I'll let them know. That never happened. Later that week I get a call from Ma asking if we wanted to move our installation date up a day. I thought great and said sure that would be great. Then the day before the new installation date Ma calls and tells me that the wrong flooring was ordered even after all the conversations with her and M. She tells me that they have a job coming up next month for a home that is getting the same flooring as what we chose and that they could just take the flooring from that job and use it for ours but she'll have to check and make sure they have enough from that job to do our flooring. She calls me back about 20 minutes later and says that they are short about 5 boxes of flooring for that job to do mine. She said she would see if their Tampa location had any they could get. She called me back again and said they had it and they would get it.During this whole nightmare of a process I was reaching out to M my so called sales representative / con man,with no reply what so ever and to this day have still not heard from him. So now I get a text message saying that my installation window went from 8:00am to 11:00am to 8:00am to 8:00pm. The installers show up around 11:00am and come inside and look at the upstairs to see what they were working with. So to make this process easier and quicker for them my wife, myself and my neighbor moved everything except for a couple mattresses and box springs downstairs. Then one of the installers came to me and said that they didn't have enough kick plates for the staircase and quarter round for the rest of the job and that he would have to go to Homedepot to get it. They started working on pulling up the carpet and started laying the floors that were just stacked up in front of our garage outside in 95 plus degree weather. We keep our home temperature around 72 to 74 degrees and as I mentioned earlier I told them they could drop it off days ahead of time. No installers thought it would make more sense to just show up with it the same day and start installing it. So to keep the flooring temperature similar to outside they decided to open our windows upstairs and not say anything to us about it ,so we could adjust our thermostat or even turn the A/C off. So our house temperature gets to around 85. So half way through the day the installer foreman comes to me and says they don't have enough of the stair caps for three of the steps and that they would need to order them and come back. They said they should be in on the following Tuesday and that they would be back on Wednesday to finish up the job. So now I have three unfinished steps with ruff plywood showing. The following day my wife is coming do an the stairs and gets snagged on this plywood and almost falls down the stairs. So Tuesday comes and I call the foreman and he says they are still not in. So I said ok and thanks for letting me know. I waited a couple more days and call him back again and again he says they're still not in. So for a week now my wife and I are sleeping on our couch because everything is still downstairs in our living room so the floors could get acclimated to the inside temperature before we started moving things back. And through all of this nightmare I'm reaching out to M. on every phone number I can find for 50Floors and no response no one calls me back. read more

Horrible customer service. We had our floors done in June. We needed some transitions done they said they'd be back the following week. NOTHING. We have called over and over just to be told over and over they would be over to install the transitions. NOW it is almost September and we are still waiting for our floors to be completed. Awful. As a first time customer of 50 Floors, I am totally disappointed in the corporate reply to my concerns which has been little to none. I invited the sales rep into my home to discuses the products and the terms of the purchasing and installing the the products that I chose under his advisement which I trusted. However, on delivery date he promised he would be on site during the delivery and install, which he was no where to be found, that was first sign of being bamboozled. After the carpet/padding was being installed I discovered the quality was not the same or equal to the carpet/padding I discussed with the 50 Floors sales rep, second time I had been hoodwinked by the 50 Floors sales rep, I called the office and I couldn't get a satisfactory answer from the agent that answer the phone about the quality of the carpet/padding. After that conversation I knew I had been ran a muck by 50 Floors and all their promises and guarantees, really meant nothing. So, now I am stuck with false promises, unsatisfactory customer service, unacceptable product quality, a 50 Floors sales rep that can't be found and no one is stepping up to confront my dissatisfaction with 50 Floors substandard customer relations. read more
