After reading some negative reviews I was concerned about this company but the pricing was too good to pass up giving them a try. Lauren was a great service rep and was super nice and accommodating and went the extra mile to please us. I thought may have been a scam right up until they came to install. I never write reviews. I don't spend the time. For this company, I will. Avoid this company. They are competitive on pricing, but the lead times, scheduling, and communication is some of the worst experiences I have had to endure from any contractor. The lack of progress, awaiting for a phone call to identify when the work would be complete, and the final payment demanded less than 24 hours after the work was complete is unprofessional and is not typical. I did not have time to review the work prior to being notified that there would be court action taken against me for the final 25% payment. I received more phone calls from the accounting department in 1 day than I did the entire time they were supposed to finish the work. Total time the job took was longer than 3 months from contract signature to final installation and had multiple complications throughout regarding personnel and clarification on the work. Next time I will pay more money to avoid any type of contractor like this. Lesson learned the hard way. read more

I had my kitchen countertops done by Avigna and I love them and the process was great. John came out and gave me an estimate, not only on pricing, but also on the timeframe needed to make and install. The person came out to measure, did so promptly, and cleaned up after himself. On the date of installation I got a phone call, and the gentlemen were here on time. They did have to cut the opening for the stove at a later time, but that was due to me not having the stove available, so no fault on them. AVOID!!!! I hired Avigna Granite on 06/19/2024 to install countertops and backsplash in my kitchen and 2 downstairs bathrooms. I paid them on 6/20/2024. I was told the template would be done in 1-2 weeks and installed 1 week later. On 7/2/2024, the company sent out a gentleman to do the template. There was masking tape and plastic on the countertops, so he left without doing the template. I could have removed the painter's tape and plastic in 30 seconds but wasn't giving the chance. On 7/8/2024, the template was completed. On 7/19/24, I contacted my salesperson Maryna to see when the countertops and backsplash would be installed. I got no response. Finally, she responded that she was no longer with the company. 07/19/2024, Kayla called me to say that they didn't have enough of the material to complete the job. She said the material would be in early next week(7/22ish). On 7/22-7/24, I was contacted by a new gentleman. He said he was a supervisor and would handle the issues. I didn't save his name. I tried contacting him for 3 days. Eventually he responded to my text. He stated he was no longer with Avigna Granite to Contact Kayla. On 8/2/24 Kayla finally contacted me to let me know that they had the material and would being cutting it. 6 weeks later... 08/04/2024 Avigna Granite came to finally install the countertops and backsplash. After being here for 2 hours. They installed half of the kitchen and 1 bathroom countertop. Half the kitchen around the cooktop was miscut and needed to be fixed. Half so the bathroom vanity didn't fix and needed to be cut at a 45-degree angle to fix. 3 of the bathroom backsplash didn't fit and needed to be trimmed. No backsplash was evening on the truck to install in the kitchen. 08/06/2024 Installers came out again. The newly cut kitchen countertops didn't fix again. So, Kayla sent out the template guy again. So, for 2 weeks now I have had no working stove, no working water in the master bath. 08/07/2024 Installers were supposed to come install backsplash in kitchen and didn't show. 08/09/2024 I texted Kayla to ask what was going on and when I would get my backsplash. She said the installer was loading up now and headed to me. They got about 75% on backsplash installed. The main piece at the stove cut again. Then over cut the trim area. 08/10/2024 I text Kayla showing her the hole left in the backsplash area, crooked outlet, and missing piece around the outlet. Also, I sent her 23 pics of damage done to my walls, cabinets, trim and outlets. 08/13/2024 I text Kayla and ask when the wall repair guys would be here like Ray(foreman) the foreman stated. I was told they were not available this week like Ray told us. 08/14/2024 I text Kayla again asking. No response 08/16/2024 I text Kayla stating it has been 11 days since Ray was here and promise to have done it a week earlier. I told her I was so over this. I spent 16k and the backsplash wasn't figured, Walls still destroyed, Outlet still crooked, 2 mirrors chips, 2 chips in countertops and no one here to fix it. 08/23/2024 I received a call from Chris stating Kayla had got hurt and he would be helping me. He asks if wall repair guys could come out Saturday the 24th. I told him we have a birthday party for my son and Monday would be better. I never heard back. 08/26/2024 Larry the trim guy that removed the backsplash showed up without any notice. I let him in to do the repairs. He took pics of the chipped mirrors, chipped countertops, and damaged walls. He told me he could hide the hole in the backsplash with an extended piece of trim. It did not match the other trim design. I said no. I paid to have it done correctly and I would accept a shortcut fix. I asked him if it was his personal house. Would he accept that. He answered NO! I stated they will need to cut a new piece and make it right. Larry told me that he spoke to the boss, and they didn't have any more. 08/26/2024 I received a call from the boss. He was hostile from the time I picked up the phone. He continued to speak over me until I finally told him to stop talking over me. He stated they have been out multiple times. I said correct and yet I still don't have my walls fixed, backsplash done, or chipped repaired. He continued to be hostile, so I hung up. 20 mins later he called back again. He said they had the countertops in the yard. I would need to come done and view them prior to reinstalling. I explained to him that I was having another granite company come view and take pics of the issues and give me a quote to fix everything. He became hostile again. He stated he would see me in court. I hung up again and texted him. I told him to text me if you needed anything further. As of today, it's been 2 months and 6 days since I paid. Avigna Granite has been out 10-15 times. I still have all the issues unfixed. I have kept all pics and text communications for proof. Also I have before and after pics read more

I always hate leaving terrible reviews but I feel I need to share my experience with others. I texted John for almost 2 months and he kept assuring me that he would send someone out to make repairs last year and make it right - that never happened and I gave up. I realized that he was just placating me with no intention to fix. I also tried calling the office and leaving message, I think her name was Kayla multiple times with no return call. They cracked my cabinet wood, did not tell me, and because they didn't want to delay their work (as they 3 more jobs that day) they performed a crappy quick repair instead of allowing me the opportunity to fully glue the wood piece back in place securely, now it impacts the way my dishwasher fits and my dishwasher is constantly catching this piece of wood. They did not drill out one of the sink holes and put a cap over it hoping I wouldn't notice and I didn't notice until after they left. They also did not cut sink hole correctly so my sink sits forward hitting the sponge drawer hardware and this won't close fully. Based on my experience (see photos) I would not recommend. They are very nice and personable when they are selling you the job, but once Something Happens, it is nothing but excuses, and then they quit corresponding with you all together. read more

Dealing with this company has been the worst experience of my life. The very first visit, to even give me an estimate, they were a no show and it just got worse from there. John came out and measured twice for our cabinets and we were told two weeks for them to be delivered. It took three weeks and he ordered two of them the complete wrong size. We installed them ourselves, which was the only smooth part of this transaction. It's been a month since we installed the ones we could and we are still missing one cabinet to finish installing them. There were several appointments rescheduled by them at the last minute in this time. Now for the counters. We had them install these. They chipped one of them on install and when the installers went to fix it, they sanded it down so much that there is a 3" wide divot in the countertop. See pictures. It's taken them two weeks to even come out and look at the issue. Now I get a phone call from John's wife Dawn to schedule to repair the counter, she screams at me over the phone because I can't be home on the day they want to come. When I insist that I want to speak to someone that isn't yelling she hangs up the phone. They also damaged one of my cabinets when they were installing the counters and won't replace the door. So my brand new kitchen looks like it came from a thrift store. Just an FYI, you can order your cabinets from the people they order them from directly and probably have a better experience, it's DL Cabinetry here in Jacksonville. Probably get things done right the first time. And it's not worth any little money you may save dealing with these people. There are plenty of other companies in town that fabricate their own countertops. They are rude, unprofessional and do terrible work. read more

Amazing! From the minute I walked in, until the installation I was impressed! I had visited several other granite places and was either treated like I was clueless (one can only assume because I was a lone female) or they doubled prices based on my zip code (literally) Every person from the salesman to Moe and the installers was polite, helpful and kind. They even walked around with a cabinet door letting me look at the slabs and see which would closely match what I wanted--in the heat of the day, for more than an hour! My counter tops are beyond amazing--they're coming to re-seal them shortly and have explained in detail how I need to keep them up, the 1 year warranty etc. Oh, and I overpaid based on my measurements, guess what?! The final bill was reduced by what I had overpaid! I maybe wouldn't have known that, but they're upfront, honest and helpful!! Avigna was outstanding. We were referred by a family member who has worked with the team on numerous projects. We had one mishap occur with a slightly incorrect cut on install. The team immediately came back and resolved. I was truly impressed at the attention to detail. We had a waterfall and a section that required a little over half a slab. They somehow seamlessly tied in the waterfall piece. We have one seam that was flawless and virtually invisible. Great team! read more

I had quartz countertops installed in the kitchen and two bathrooms. Communication started out fine at first, my family purchased from John, the sale manager. As soon as we paid the deposit and booked a date for measurements, the communication began to breakdown immediately. The sales side did not communicate well with the production/fabrication department and was not forthcoming with information. We would follow up on apts and questions, the sales people would reply with that was not their department and they did not know. Well they could have either given us the contact information for the frabication department or information of someone who could have followed up. Furthermore the installers were not very clear with their communication. They brought a piece for a shower step, we had asked about. We were not committed to installing it until speaking with the installer. The guy removed the original shower step before we had made a decision and the piece they brought did not fit. Now I have had a broken shower step for two weeks. The company has not followed up to set a date for the installation of the new step after multiple calls and text. Overall the company did a fine job of installing the actual countertops. Not the best job I have seen, but with the difficulty in communicating with the company, I would honestly go with someone else next time. Save yourself the headache. read more

We had a horrible experience with this company that started 2/6. We were promised 3 weeks total to get our job done. We were promised we could pick out slab and approve the layout which never happened. They never proactively communicated delays with us and rarely followed up on their own. After 2 months we finally got counters that were measured properly (took them 3 trips and 2 months to get it right-literally). We were promised they would cut around the black spots in the Viscon granite yet we ended up with a giant black spot by our sink. We could have probably had they cut another but after 3 times I figured a post to the public was better to ensure you are aware of our nightmare. We were offered discounts of $50 here and there but it's not amount the money. This place is no more competitive than anyone else out there and you deserve better service so shop around. In two days it will be a week since Kayla promised us an answer. We have given them every opportunity to reply and they have not. Didn't even attempt an negotiation. I don't normally leave bad reviews, but I feel this is a public service. Buyer beware of Avigna Granite! We so wish that we had checked their rating with the BBB. it is an "F", We never, ever would have done business with them had we checked with the BBB. They haven't paid up on several cases with the BBB. John Abbot is a great salesman - very likeable. However, he makes promises they have no intention of keeping. He lies to get your business. For instance, he told us that he had "30 sheets" of the quartzite we had selected in an off site warehouse. That was a lie. The only 3 sheets they had had severe defects in them and we couldn't arrange all of our templates without getting major flaws. We made a second quartzite choice. Were told that every sheet of that was cracked and to pick another. Finally, we made a 3rd selection that was cheaper and they will not give us the difference in price back because they already have our money. They actually raised the price of the 3rd selection so they didn't have to refund our money. Another thing, don't fall for the gimmick of giving them full payment up front to receive $400 back. You will be so sorry. Installation - another huge disappointment. The quartzite came with chips on the corners, which the installers fixed before leaving. They did not give us the edge that we requested and is on the contract. The corners were not cut as ordered. While the installers were still there, I was trying to polish the tops when they were packing up so I could feel if there were any flaws. The guy told me not to do that because he had spread sealer on. Had I continued, I'd have found the huge chip in the center of the larger island. The bathroom sink was cut too large. Thankfully, we had our contractor here and he caught it. They had to take it back and do it over. Also, they didn't seal our kitchen sink properly. They had stopped taking our calls so we paid our contractor to do it. If you still want to deal with them. watch out for the square footage you are quoted. We and a competitor (SO wish we had gone with him) came up with 89 s.f'. John came up with 106 s.f. and that is what we were charged for. Do you wonder why a business doesn't have an answering machine? If they don't want to talk with you, they simply don't answer and you can't leave a message. We finally had to either drive up there or use a cell phone with a number they don't recognize which they answered immediately. Once they had our money, we were committed and we have tried to make the best of things. We are retired and should know better when someone asks for money up front. It sent up flares, but they seemed so nice. Do not be fooled. Dear Sriram, We have truly tried with you. In fact, you still have an out. Negotiate a settlement with us that is acceptable and I will erase this message. read more

We chose a beautiful stone and they cross cut it instead of giving us what we purchased, a beautiful desert like stone. The manager measured the length of the stone to make sure it would fit the length of our countertop. Finally receiving the check, we will wait until the check clears before we adjust the review. This company does not make you purchase the whole slab which is good. However if you need a small piece for the bathroom it can take time for a piece to become available. Also there is poor communication between the team that does the site assessment and the rest of the process. It took 3 months for the installation to occur because they were unorganized. read more

Went to Art of Granite and World Stone Imports, and found John Abbot at Avigna to be friendly, knowledgeable, and mostly importantly had the best price for the quartz I wanted. Jorge showed up two days later and made template. Countertops were installed 7 days after that. Was fast, well priced and just a totally pleasant experience, top to bottom. I needed an extra little piece of the counter top and there were a couple of hiccups but I was treated like my little piece was just as important as if I had ordered a whole house full of granite. From start to finish, we were very impressed with Avigna Granite World. From administration, to sales, to templating, fabrication, then installation; they were top of the line. They didn't charge us per slab, but by square foot, so you're paying for what you get, we like that concept. They had a substantial granite yard and were a one-stop shop. After the templates were done, they invited us back to the showroom to choose exactly where we wanted the cuts to be made. The installation was flawless and complicated cuts were done to perfection. We have purchased a lot of granite and have never gotten such over-the-top service. Avigna Granite World is an honest, reasonably priced, white-glove, service oriented company. Frustrating process working with Avigna. Sales staff struggled to adequately communicate continually throughout the process, often not responding to emails or phone calls with questions or concerns. Person who measured the template gave different information than sales/installer, pointing to a lack of communication between them and made me less confident in the information I was being given. Installer left removed sink at property (against City of Jacksonville Code), causing me additional headache and need to coordinate with Avigna to have it removed later. Installer was told the granite countertop was 25 sq/ft but I was charged for 30 sq/ft, adding to the already unclear pricing structure Avigna uses (10%-20% overrun on cuts, yet no detailed number was given in final pricing). I fully understand the variability regarding custom cuts and material, but accounting for and detailing that information at the end of the process is critical for customer confidence, which Avigna did not do. I would recommend you look elsewhere, I would not use them again. read more

If you are not familiar with how a remodel goes and the steps it takes and the sometimes set backs that incur because other vendors cause your job at hand to be delayed, then don't embark on a remodel. You have to approach a remodel with low expectations and when someone is on time and under budget consider that a bonus. I seriously feel a lot of these posts unfair due to ignorance on the homeowner's part...No, I do not work for Avigna. I had some Quartz installed and it is lovely, the kitchen is beautiful and life goes on. I think Yelp is full of a bunch of haters these days. Get a grip. read more

PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! I am not writing this review to be spiteful, but to inform potential consumers of risks associated with working with this company. I ordered granite countertops for my kitchen and paid in full prior to installation (First mistake). After measurements were completed, I was given a new price as my original estimate was off. I was scheduled for installation between 1 and 3 PM. However, the workers did not show up until 430 PM. I had to call to find out their truck had broken down. This was unprofessional but the least of my worries. The workers turned my water off to install the counters. The counters were apparently too heavy and they damaged my crown molding and paint beneath the sink. I was then told that I needed to have a plumber come and turn the water back on as they were not licensed to turn the water on or off. When I called the company , Jessica perkins answered the phone and was the most rude salesman I had ever met. She blamed me and eventually hung the phone up on me. I had to dish out 150 for an emergency plumber to come by to resolve the issue.I have called numerous times but they refuse to answer my calls. I have even texted photo evidence of damage to wall and cabinets and have yet to hear from them. They illegally perform plumbing when its convenient. use a more reputable company. read more

Don't buy granite from this company! The owner Shri is rude and can't be trusted . I did a contract for a certain amount of granite. He did part of my kitchen then tells me has no more to complete the rest! He states he will get something close to what I have. After I told him I don't want anything close I want what I paid for, he threatens to put a lien on my house then hang the phone up on me!! Can you believe it?? After I went to his office and tell him I am going to put a review on every social media and the news, he miraculous text me to say he had some of the same granite in his warehouse. His workers were late or never showed up when he said. 3 different ppl installed my granite. No installers want to work for him. One day I had to have husband take Uber to go to the airport because his worker showed up late and I am stepping out the door. Another time they brought the wrong size granite.
