The majority of the visit got coded Medical (I pay) even though all but one part of the visit was provider-side initiated. What a shock to get a $1383 bill on my FIRST VISIT! My insurance agreed that about $700 of the bill should have been 100% covered but it was coded as "Medical" (I asked for the tests/checkup/immunizations, not the doctor). Sutter denied my review. Instead of just taking care of it (don't they WANT to get paid - does it matter WHO FROM?), I get messages to call this number or that to figure out the bill. Now - they have my medication help prisoner for me to return but I have no confidence in this clinic to do their end of the job. I definitely can't afford to pay $700 for every doctor visit. Oh... and in 8 months of being under this doctor's "care" - visits and follow up have all been through their PA. Doc hasn't even seen me yet! On top of coding labs as Medical (I pay) and not Preventative (plan pays), my ins says their lab (Palo Alto) charges astronomically more than other labs. So, in addition to getting stuck with the bill for what should be 100% covered, I'm getting charged the Tech Tax! Fast forward, I'm at the lab to get the work done so my "care team" can take care of me - and the lab didn't even have my orders. I asked two different ways for COPIES of my lab orders and was told that they were faxed over. I'm going to have a freaking stroke before I can get my meds out of jail. This review is long overdue. Ellen has been guiding me towards better health for over a year now…read more When I came to her I was stressed, frequently bloated, had fatigue all day long, and had stomach issues that weren't going away. I tried to "fix" myself by trying to eat healthy (I loved fatty foods, but my cholesterol was/is high so I became a vegetarian for a while to try to help lower my cholesterol) and exercise, but despite that, I was still bloated and tired all day. Ellen has a whole system worked out to determine the root cause of health issues that arise. Based on my lab work, she designed a protocol that was tailored to fit me and my health goals. Throughout the process, we had check-ins where I could update her on how I was feeling and see if anything needed to be adjusted. I've been committed to her protocols for over a year now and my health is better than ever. My bloating is gone, I have more consistent energy throughout the day, my stomach aches have all but gone away, and bonus- I've lost a bunch of weight. I'm nearly down to the weight I was in the military in my early 20s, something I was never able to achieve on my own when I got out. Ellen's recommendations are dynamic and tailored, and she considers the person as a whole. Her help has been so vital for me that I'm going to continue working with her until the foreseeable future; my labs are getting to where they need to be, but in the meantime I appreciate being able to reach out to her with questions from the patient portal, getting periodic labwork to check progress, getting access to reduced- price supplements, and having access to see if she recommends any minor adjustments to my protocol. 100% recommend!

I quickly went on the app and made another appointment but within 15 miles this place showed up so I thought it was on a different part of San Jose. It was all the way on East side, which was rather far for me to drive but yes, within 15 miles. Lol. Behind Chuck E. Cheese and down a little pathway, I found a very rundown clinic with some other dentist offices in the area. As I parked my car and walked around to where the entrance of the LabCorp was, I walked up the ramp, and as I opened the door. I saw three people in the waiting area. Some lady yelled from the back room, "you have appointment?!?! " I wasn't too sure how to take it so I politely yelled back, "yes, at 12:15 PM. "It was 12:10 PM. The lady yelled from the back, "check in on computer. " As I walked up to the check-in kiosk, my boyfriend handed me a mask and took the business card. Lol it seemed rather sketchy!! Maybe 10 minutes later, a lady pushed an elderly lady from the back Clinic in a wheelchair up to the front where a gentleman was waiting. The three of them ended up, leaving, and the older gentleman in line ahead of me, went into the back as the lady that yelled at me from the back, motion him with her hand to go into the back room. Around 1230, a lady came in from some back door and apologized that she was on her lunch. She was rather polite, I actually saw her name tag, and her name was K. Harinder. She said she was clocking in and she'd be with me shortly. She was very sweet as she got my paperwork set up and she went in the back to draw my blood for my labs. She was incredibly clean as she put on a new set of gloves from the front office to the back office and got the needles ready. She was quick about getting my blood drawn and I was on my way by 12:45, even though I had an appointment at 12:15. I'm really glad the lady came back from her break and it wasn't the shorter Asian lady yelling from the back that took my blood she just didn't seem very professional to me.
