It was not a smooth process at all and her attitude is UNACCEPTABLE especially in medical professional practice place. Please not be in healthcare with that attitude. In the past, even at Stanford, I've often been sent to ultrasound-guided blood draws because my veins are difficult to find. But Tracy did it in one single poke -- even though my vein tends to move. I have driven to this location before, mainly for my mom. Each time, the phlebotomists here have been late, even though we had an appointment. One instance happened around Christmas eve where my mom had another scheduled appointment in the morning and was fasting. We waited over 30 minutes past the appointment time! My mom kept asking why it took so long, so I stood up and went to go ask the front desk. As I was walking, the door was open and I could hear women talking and laughing loudly in their rooms and not working at all. I understand Spanish and overheard them talking about other coworkers and patients. At this point, I went back to my mom, told her what happened, and we just decided to leave. She plans to get her blood drawn at a different site. I would not recommend anyone to come here. The staff here are unprofessional and not doing their jobs properly! They should be embarrassed of themselves for this and management needs to fix this problem. read more

I have been here a many times in the past few years and the experience has been acceptable to wtf! A few times the phlebotomisto gave me a weird look as if I am going to past out but I told them it was not in my nature to look at my arm while blood is drawn. What I was exceptionally pissed off was that i made an appointment about a few months prior to find out my appointment was canceled because it was closed which was BS! I went to quest lab at 757 Pacific St. in Monterey today and unfortunately I did not have an appointment. I waited over 1 1/2 hours and people kept coming in. The phlebotomist told me that they have to take all of the patients with appointments first and then they could take the walk-ins. The people with appointments never stopped coming in so I gave up and just left. At one point there was only one other person in the waiting room, so they could've called me then realizing I'd been there a long time. Unfortunately, a whole bunch of people came in. I went to community Hospital lab and was taken in and had my blood drawn as soon as I walked up to the lab desk. I will never go to quest lab again. There's never anybody at the window to answer questions They have this mobile kiosk that you sign in on and other than that you could die in the waiting room and no staff would notice. If you do not have an appointment, definitely do not go to quest lab. read more

I give Quest Diagnostics 5* this time. I made appointment with Quest at Liberty St in Fremont, CA. Jan-13-25 I was called 7 minutes before my appointment time. The phlebotomist Reena was very friendly, courteous, skillful. She was able to withdraw blood very quickly. I brought 1 order from my primary care Dr. . I was not aware that I had another order from my endocrinologist. After finishing the 1st one, Reena had to repeat the same steps for the 2nd order without complaining and upsetting. I wonder why this lab quest has low reviews. I have been here a few times for blood test ordered from my doctor. They have kiosk electronic check in and highly recommend make appointments better than walk in. After I check in name, insurance and actually they call me right away. The waiting room is ckean, clean, hand sanitizer in the front. Everytime u come and the phelobomist is friendly, cheerful, courteous, insert needle gently my arm. They are quickly drawn my blood. And this lab is sometimes understaff so we should make appointments ahead. read more

I've been coming here ever since this location has opened. More convenient to get to since I live near by and can come straight here after work. Never had any issues with the staff or appointments. Located on the second floor, this place is clean compared to others I've been to in the past. Plenty of parking at this location. Policy for Quest has changed the past year I believe when it comes to doing labs. It's not posted but technically you're supposed to MAKE AN APPOINTMENT! If you do decide to do a walk in, expect to wait. Will you be seen? Maybe? Maybe not? To make an appointment isn't hard and if you're complaining about making appointments on the website is confusing or whatever get someone to help you. It's not rocket science. Don't expect that if you show up at this location that you'll find someone at the front desk, they're in the back drawing people's blood. So again, MAKE AN APPOINTMENT and make it easier for everyone. read more

It was once again time for a blood test, and my doctor forwarded the order to this location of Quest. I made an appointment for today at 7 am and was able to get a handicap parking spot near the entrance, arriving about half an hour before the scheduled time. I arrived early and requested the phlebotomist I always have (he uses baby needles that are barely felt). He gave me two empty collection tubes to grip in my hand during the draw so both vials filled quickly. His name is Phon Chuc and was recommended to me by the previous phlebotomist I really liked, when she was leaving to work at a different location. I rarely feel the needle going in, and because I was gripping those collection tubes the blood was quickly collected. I highly recommend this location of Quest, and especially Phon Chuc. If you are scared of needles like I am, you will no doubt feel as I do that he always makes the experience much more pleasant! read more

This is the first time we've gotten blood work done at this location so we made sure to set an appointment. The morning of the appointment, we got a text with a link to click when we arrived. I checked in with that link & chose the option to wait in the car until we received a phone call. After we got the call to go up to the 2nd floor, I walked with my mom from the car and up the stairs to the second floor. We checked in again on a kiosk. 15 mins after the appt time I checked in on the kiosk again and the kiosk said we're late and now considered a walk-in. I asked an employee why we've been switched to walk-in when we've been checked in since 8:15 when we were downstairs. She told me we were late and after she called us, we took too long to come in. I explained to her the website check in I did in the car & how I chose the option to wait outside. I added that we had to walk up here too. She kept saying we were late. I understand the stress essential workers are under due to Covid but if waiting in the car is not an option, the check in available via text should say so. It should clearly say that we needed to be physically in the waiting room. After having an altercation with that one lady, they called my mom in but didn't bother to check her temperature like they for other patients. What made things worse was staff continued to talk negatively about my mom & I as my mom got her blood work done. They were accusing us of lying that we checked in at home and came late. My mom was so upset that she confronted them & they continued to say they did nothing wrong. This is so unprofessional and I would never take my mom here again. Shame on you ladies who speak Vietnamese. We speak Vietnamese and we heard you accusing us of being liars and so did the roomful of Vietnamese patients. If you're going to work with people as a career, you shouldn't be gossiping and talking badly about your customers, this is a horrible reflection on Quest as a company. read more

This is for the Quimby Office. Absolutely awful. At 7am in the morning, the waiting room is overflowing. There are no staff on hand to answer any questions. That's only one problem. The automated check-in was unable to find the appointment. This is despite the fact that I have used that site a couple of times in the past without issue. I double checked the appointment after returning home. Nothing wrong with it. I tried contacting Quest DIagnostics. It is just a bot. No service whatsoever. On previous visits, they had the appointment, but each time I had to wait an hour past that time before I was finally served. Make sure you doctor uses a real hospital for your tests. This service is bad on every level it can be. read more

Lady comes out and tells me they are booked so I was like ok but can I wait here to be a walk in? Simple question right? She couldn't say yes or no and kept making excuses. She didn't smile at any of the customers she interacted with; no please or thank you. I went in for a simple drug screening from my employer. We came here 30 mins before they open and was 2nd in line. When they open, everyone rushed. The staff then told everyone to sign in through the iPads. There was a guy that cut in line and took forever to sign in so we had to wait until he was done signing in. There were 2 iPads so the other person took the 2nd iPad since we were waiting for the slower guy that cut in line to finish. So we were eventually the 7th or 8 person to be called in. I told the staff that we were 2nd in Line and they did nothing about it. Very bad service. No wonder they have 1 Star here. Called my insurance right there and they told the staff they are listed as in contract. I had a very nice experience at the lab. Signing in at the electronic kiosk was simple and efficient. The waiting area was very clean, and the lab itself is located in a new building by Eastridge mall. I had an appointment, and my wait time was 15 minutes which is reasonable. Also, they seem to have both Vietnamese and Spanish speaking staff. Melida, the phlebotomist, was very kind, cheerful, and courteous. She helped with the front desk paperwork and drew my blood. I'm really shocked at the negative reviews for this place. I mean, it's a lab. So it gets crowded sometimes -- so does the pharmacy. It's what you expect from a medical environment. With that said. Here's the real stuff you want to know: 1. It's clean. The lobby is welcoming. Welcoming enough for somewhere that takes your blood and urine. The inside is also immaculate. 2. The staff was nice and check in was easy. In fact, they have iPads to check in on and they call you, take your insurance cards and you do .. whatever it is you're supposed to do there. 3. The woman who took my blood was more than professional and she poked me once. Pretty good, if you ask me. I usually get poked more than once due to my small veins. Workstation was neat and tidy. Exactly what you'd expect from a lab. Oh. And they have people here that speak languages other than English, which I think is pretty smart business practice since this office is in an area where lots of people feel more comfortable speaking their native language when they're about to get poked or prodded. So if that kind of business practice offends you, you'll be offended. Got out of there with a bandaid and not gangrene on my limbs. 5 stars. read more

The staff here are something else. I came here for a drug test, and while my experience wasn't as bad, what I saw prompted me to write this. A Vietnamese woman finished her test, so she went in the waiting room and waited for her sister. One of the staff literally blurted out, "MAM YOU'RE DONE. BYE. GO." The woman was trying her best to explain that she was waiting for her sister in English, but the worker didn't care to understand, instead she looks over at her co worker and yells out, "WHAT ARE THEY EVEN HOLLERING ABOUT" The other co worker wasn't so nice either. When the Vietnamese woman was explaining something, he couldn't understand her, so he rolled his eyes and said "oh my gosh." The employees here have horrible attitudes. You're working at quest diagnostics...you're going to be dealing with patients of different diversities all the time, and if you don't have the patience to work with them, just leave. read more

My doctor had request me here to draw blood for lab work. If you have any type of insurance please insure them you have it when you are in the room about to take your blood test. Christine did an amazing job with drawing my blood and she also made sure I was comfortable. I took one star off because there isn't any receptionist but there is a iPad to sign in. It may be difficult for people that speak a different language to figure it out but the people who work inside will come out and try to help you when you ask. read more

I knew I should have avoided this place when reading the reviews but this location was close and convenient to my house. Upon arriving, there's two receptionists and no greetings. I came up and greeted the receptionist and told me to sign in. There's another lady who has quite the attitude while chewing her gum very audibly.
