I had attempted to remove my powder dipped nails that I had done by a different salon all on my own. Anyone who has tried to remove their own fake nails can likely picture what went on at my house. Let's just say, I didn't get all of the pieces off and I had foolishlyfiled my fingernails teeny tiny - and then covered them with a cheap coat of red polish, and hoped no one would notice for the next 24 hours. The tech at Pro Nails and Spa took such great care of my injured fingertips. She removed all of the tacky red polish, carefully trimmed my cuticles, and used her handy tool (which I believe is called an electric drill) to smooth out the nail for fresh polish. She was so gentle and attentive to my comfort. For only $20, I honestly didn't expect such a high level of detail. My nails look healthy again, and the shop has a wonderful, calming atmosphere. She explained how, even though their colors were from all different brands, they always use OPI for the base and top coats because it lasts so much longer.
