I'm so glad I picked a family run nail salon near my job instead of near my home. I believe most of…read morethe businesses in that plaza (outside of Publix, of course) are family owned. This neighborhood nail salon is cozy and the techs know exactly what they are doing! I came in after work without an appointment on a Friday. I had attempted to remove my powder dipped nails that I had done by a different salon all on my own. Anyone who has tried to remove their own fake nails can likely picture what went on at my house. Let's just say, I didn't get all of the pieces off and I had foolishlyfiled my fingernails teeny tiny - and then covered them with a cheap coat of red polish, and hoped no one would notice for the next 24 hours. The tech at Pro Nails and Spa took such great care of my injured fingertips. She removed all of the tacky red polish, carefully trimmed my cuticles, and used her handy tool (which I believe is called an electric drill) to smooth out the nail for fresh polish. She was so gentle and attentive to my comfort. For only $20, I honestly didn't expect such a high level of detail. My nails look healthy again, and the shop has a wonderful, calming atmosphere. I'll definitely be back!

I'd been going to a nail salon in South Tampa since 2019, when I first moved to the area... and I…read morealways had the same person doing my nails. Needless to say, I was devastated to learn she was no longer there... and I was left underwhelmed when I got a manicure from someone else there. That meant I was on the hunt for a new nail salon that lets you make online appointments... and let me tell you, I am SO glad I found Trina and Ruby's! The first thing I noticed was how every person in there seemed to be a regular. Whenever someone walked in the door, they were greeted by name. Having previously gone to a GIANT salon, where only the nail tech I was loyal to knew my name, this was quite a different experience. I had booked a dip manicure and gel pedicure with Ruby, who was still finishing up with another client, so another person started the process of removing the old dip from my nails. Ruby then took over, and was so sweet and welcoming. She explained how, even though their colors were from all different brands, they always use OPI for the base and top coats because it lasts so much longer. I was glad to hear it, because I know that from personal experience! In the end, I was blown away by how beautiful my nails looked. I'm a bit of a perfectionist, so streaks or bubbles would always really bother me. These look flawless, and SO incredibly shiny. Thank you, Ruby! :)
