Dustin was patient and thorough in explaining the processes and procedures. His installers were punctual and very easy to work with. My wife felt very comfortable being alone with them while they installed our LVP. From start to finish Dustin was available at a moments notice; he even came to our house at 6 pm to resolve a tiny issue we had with layout. 5 Star Flooring is the best flooring company period!! Dustin and his crew were OUTSTANDING!! We really wanted hardwood flooring in our downstairs living room, as well as upstairs in our master bedroom, hallways and office. When we discovered moisture in the concrete slab in our downstairs living room, we knew that installing hardwood there might not be possible. We were really disappointed! Most flooring companies would have just told us that it would not be possible, and just recommend putting carpeting back in the area. But Dustin never lost hope! They "sanded" the concrete and sealed it twice to successfully block the moisture from coming thru. (We had already determined that there was not a slab leak.) That was going way above and beyond to try to get the hardwood to work downstairs. We were ecstatic!! Dustin also recommended a different design option that we hadn't thought of....laying the wood diagonally. It turned out so beautifully!!! We also had them install carpeting in the secondary bedrooms and stairway. They also installed new door casings and baseboards. They paid so much attention to detail!! The 2nd floor in my home felt flimsy and squeaked. I had no idea what the issue was. Dustin and his crew came out, lifted the wood floor and replaced the sub floor that was loose. They replaced the wood flooring and moldings at the stairs and the bedroom doorways. When they were done everything was great. No more flimsy or squeaking floor.
