These…read morejerks finally called me after 3 1/2 years. the guy on the phone told me that my parts came in but "it's been so long, you probably already found a replacement turntable by now". Yes, you bunch of incompetent ding dongs. I did. They took my deposit, now they have my turntable, and I can't get it unless I pay for the parts and repair. A ripoff spot. What a group of ding dongs. Do NOT bring your business to this place. Three and a half years just to get a part in for a well-known and popular turntable. And in this time, NO calls, responses, emails, texts, no information whatsoever only to have them call with this complete and utter garbage. I am in the audio feild and make sure to go out of my way to steer people clear of this place.

Gordon told me they couldn't get to it right away, and I was fine with that. However, I never heard from them so I called after a few months and was told they were working on it but waiting on a part. Called back again a few months later, same story. After a year and a half of no communication or progress I went to pick it up, planning on sending it somewhere else. Gordon assured me they would get to it in the next couple of weeks, so I decided to take his word for it and left the turntable with him. Several months went by, I called again.....was told they really were working on it and just give them a couple more weeks. Finally, after 3 years I had enough and went to pick my turntable up. Gordon was exceptionally rude, as if this was somehow my fault. I had left a $50 deposit when I first brought them the turntable....he initially refused to return that, telling me it was for teardown and inspection which I did not accept. He finally refunded that, but never apologized and rolled his eyes throughout our entire conversation. I wish I would've looked closer at my turntable while I was there....once I got home I realized the spindle was missing and all of the switches were junk (they were good when I left it with them, so I believe they swapped my good ones out with bad ones). These are terrible people, their shop is a dump and as you can see from other reviews they couldn't care less about their customers. Apparently Jerry the owner and his employee Gordon think people are idiots. Never, ever, ever again.

Upon a friend's recommendation, I contacted Hi-Tech. I spoke with Juan, who invited me to bring in the car for inspection. The next day, Juan quickly confirmed the Amplifier issue and offered to fix it immediately. In just 60 minutes, Juan resolved the problem, and the repair cost was only $400.00. This chair is critical for her daily mobility. Someone at Batteries Plus in Woodstock recommended MarTech for micro soldering. I took the cord and remote and it was fixed in 2 hours. My understanding of micro soldering is taking a pen point sized spot on a microchip and attaching a smaller wire. This place is awesome. The first project was a classic Turner-made desk mic that came with some vintage 11M gear I was gifted from a family friend. That repair didn't do as well as planned as the mic element was bad and simply was irreplaceable (NOS elements just not found anywhere!) However, Bill W. (owner/proprietor) and one of his techs, "RP", gave it their best. It's back home now but still doesn't work. Rats. Once that microphone arrived home I then entrusted the reconditioning of my classic Palomar 90a 40/20/15/10 meter 'blue face' linear amplifier to Bill and his team and sent that off to Gainesville last month. I requested that they perform a complete operational check on the amp, as well as optimize it for 10M operation, including installing a small 12v fan to cool the two sweep tubes and replace any dead capacitors and resistors. Bill and RP did just that and returned the amp in record time! Yes, it was pricey, but I now have a classic, high-performing, and stable amplifier for my ham radio equipment that will likely last the rest of my life! Five Stars for good customer service, excellent technical work, and a fast turnaround.
