Well, I'm not sure why they call themselves "5 Minute Pharmacy", it took me much longer then that, but I was a new customer and they were getting their computers updated, so I'm sure it would have been quicker on a better day. I will say that everyone there was very kind, aside from being extremely busy. There are also 5 waiting chairs to sit on. Maybe they should change the name to "5 Chair Pharmacy"? LOL....ok, ok, bad joke. There were also about 5 drug reps that stopped by, no kidding. Maybe its a magical good luck number for them, who knows? As my mother's caregiver, I recently had a very concerning experience with Five Min Pharmacy following its recent computer system transition. When my mother's pre-packaged medication packets arrived, one of her prescribed medications was missing. A missing medication in pre-packaged packets is a serious patient safety issue, especially for elderly patients who rely on those packets to ensure they are taking the correct medications. I called the pharmacy and had to speak with multiple representatives, pharmacists, and supervisors before I could get an explanation. I was initially given an explanation that did not account for why the medication was missing from my mother's current shipment. When I asked to speak with a supervisor, I was transferred to voicemail and had to call back multiple times before I was finally connected with the pharmacy manager. During my conversations with the pharmacy, I also discovered that my mother's account still listed my late father's phone number, even though I had previously requested that it be changed to my phone number. Because the incorrect phone number remained on the account, I was not notified when there was an issue affecting one of my mother's prescriptions before her medication packets were prepared and shipped. The pharmacy manager listened to my concerns and placed a note on my mother's account instructing staff to contact me if there are any issues with her medications before future medication packets are processed and shipped. I appreciate that the pharmacy ultimately worked with me to address the issue. However, I am sharing this experience because a missing medication is a serious patient safety concern. If you are a caregiver or have a loved one who receives pre-packaged medication packets, I strongly recommend checking every packet carefully to make sure all prescribed medications are included. read more

Poor service in every aspect. First, they didn't have a medication and never told me. It took multiple days of calling and being put on hold just to be told they didn't have the medication which ended up taking months to finally receive. Went in for a scheduled appointment to receive a shot, I drove all the way to town called them 30 minutes ahead of schedule to see if they could see me sooner only to find out they couldn't give me the shot because they didn't have the medication, no heads up. They said they would call me back later that day to reschedule - they didn't. The only reason I gave them 2 stars instead of 1 is because they speak nice over the phone. read more

5 minutes is definitely false advertising!!!! There's been more than a few occasions where I try to fill or refill prescriptions and it takes days!!!!! I just tried to refill a prescription today and i couldn't get ahold of anyone but the operator who doesn't have anything to do with filling prescriptions!! If this place was called 5 day prescription, I wouldn't have any issues. I don't know who is running this pharmacy, but they need to do better. read more

This pharmacy consistently provides excellent service. I always receive courteous and prompt responses to my phone or text message inquiries. Have never had a bad experience with 5 Minute Pharmacy. Of particular note is an experience while traveling when I didn't have enough medication. 5 Minute Pharmacy got the medication and they arranged it so I was able to pick up my medication just a few minutes from where I was staying. This all occurred within a couple of hours of calling the pharmacy. read more

After Longs Drugs kept jerking me and my doctor around saying they needed a prior authorization, and dragged their feet filling my prescription, my doctor had enough and sent the prescription to 5 Minute Pharmacy and presto they filled it immediately and delivered it to my doorstep the same day. I wish there was an option for ZERO stars. But unfortunately, there isn't. 5 Minute Pharmacy was recommended by my parents PCP, which I had agreed to, as they offer mobile services for vaccines. I thought, that's super convenient, why not? I have waited nearly 2 weeks for them to process my parents paperwork for their vaccines. I've called everyday after their PCP had placed their order, I never got any direct answers, but was told that someone would give me a call. Finally, someone called me last week to schedule for that same afternoon, but due to the late notice I wasn't able to. So, we've went ahead and scheduled for Wednesday, April 6th at 2:00PM. I've adjusted my work schedule and managed to get this afternoon off, in case I needed to be home during and after their vaccines. An hour passed after the scheduled appointment time, and nothing... I called 5 Minute Pharmacy and now there seems to be a mix up. Apparently, no appointment is scheduled, but they see that the status is "In Delivery." Again, NO DIRECT ANSWER, but was told that I needed to reschedule because they have to process and confirm one (1) of the vaccines. Sooooooo, what was the point of calling me last week to schedule for today? -------- Update: Amie has came to save the day! Very friendly, accommodating, and kind. I don't normally give such low of a rating but I was very disappointed with the customer service of this place. I was supposed to receive my medication sometime in the end of September but I only got it today, which is a month later. The lack of communication of this place is probably why my medication came in so late. My dermatologist said they would call the next day after my appointment, which they did so I assumed they'd be delivering my medication, but they didn't. Apparently, they needed to be told to deliver rather than just ask me when they called me initially. After waiting a few weeks, I finally followed up with my dermatologist first to check if they even requested for my medication. They said the above mentioned information and said 5minute pharmacy should be calling me again to check what available day and time would be ok to drop off my medication. However, they didn't call. In fact, I got a call as I was running errands saying the person delivering is outside my house now. They should be calling BEFORE they go to their location to double check if anyone is available to receive the order (like how pizza deliveries do). After giving this advice to the messenger to prevent wasting anyone's time, they was no sympathy or consideration to improve for future business. At least now I know NOT to have my medication delivered and I should just pick it up on my own convenience. Also, I'm definitely going with other pharmacies available in the area. read more

Keep you waiting even after they call you to let you know they received your Rx and give you a pick up time. Then, at pick up they tell you the medication is not in stock but still offer to give you a partial dose. This tells you they are not trained as some medications needs to be completed based on treatment prescribed by doctors. It was a antibiotic that they were offering partial dose. They said they would transfer the Rx to another pharmacy. I showed up the other pharmacy an hour later only to find out the nothing was transferred. I called 5 mins to find out and they have no documentation about transferring my Rx. Pharmacy falls under healthcare. No documentation results in malpractice! read more

I signed up with 5 Minute Pharmacy in the face of skepticism from our family, who did not think that delivery of refills would work for my live-at-home 93 year old Auntie. I live in California and let's face it, Auntie had been picking up prescriptions from Longs Drugs for the last 70 of her 90+ years! Patrice at 5 Minute Pharmacy in Aiea was absolutely amazing. She got all the prescriptions transferred smoothly, was able to get multiple different prescriptions to sync up so that we could get pre-filled blisterpaks delivered. This way, Auntie's caregivers were able to administer meds since it was a scheduled, pre-measured dose (of 7 different pills per day!). Patrice discussed with me at length the options for delivery vs. pick up, different types of pills preferred (gelcaps vs tablet vs chewables), getting the prescriptions in sync, changes to the prescriptions, and scheduled deliveries for days when a caregiver would be present to receive the prescription. They returned calls and emails promptly, followed up, and there was constant communication so that prescription deliveries were worry-free. I cannot thank Patrice enough for everything she did to make this work for my Auntie. Great service and I highly recommend that you try them!! read more

its not five minutes by a long stretch. took two days to get a delivery. the phone number of the prescriptions from their pharmacy are out of order. the only plus was the delivery person who was nice, considerate and even telephoned me back after a text. Good Idea a pharmacy delivery - needs much better implementation. Web site says many sites available but deliveries actually only come out of Waipahu which explains the delay in delivery when one outlet is expected to serve island wide. read more

I was a customer of Pharmacare prescription mail order until they discontinued that service and was picking up my medication from a Pharmacare retail location. Using mail order for my maintenance medication is more economical because I am able to get a 90 day supply instead of a 60 day supply. Someone suggested that I try 5 Minute Pharmacy because they can process dual coverage insurance claims and they accept coupons for certain medications. A 5 Minute Pharmacy staff member contacted Pharmacare and requested transfer for both my husband and my prescriptions. Now this is where my frustration begins. They have been sending me only a 30 day supply when my prescription calls for a 90 day supply and my insurance allows for a 90 day supply. I called twice regarding 2 separate mail orders and asked why I was only getting a 30 day supply instead of 90 and they could not give me an answer. On top of that I had to wait 20 minutes to speak to someone. I told them that I didn't understand the logic behind this because if my prescription states that it's for a 90 day supply and my insurance allows for a 90 day supply, then why is it that they are mailing me only a 30 day supply. The person who I spoke to the 2nd time I called said she was going to notate that I am supposed to get a 90 day supply. I told her to notate that for all of my medications. However, I received a medication refill in the mail today and it was only for a 30 day supply. I don't understand why they cannot fill my prescription properly and why they don't seem to understand why they cannot either. And then with 2 of my medications there was a co-pay for the 30 day supply, whereas I could have gotten a 90 day supply for possibly the same co-pay cost as I paid for my 30 day supply. And one more thing, I went to the Waipahu location and gave them my credit card number for my account, however the Waipahu location is not linked with the mail order location so I had to give my credit card number again. Unfortunately there are not too many choices for prescription mail order. CVS is expensive. read more

If there was a "0" or Negative star I'd choose that! This place use to be fast friendly and educated! The ONLY PLUS IS THE FLIPS CANS SPEAK FILIPINO LANGUAGE. I went there had more than two prescriptions so I checked in and told them I'd be back. I gave the WELL ENOUGH TIME IF 3 1/2 HOURS YES THREE AND A HALF HOURS TO FILL MY PRESCRIPTIONS. I go back and they were not done ! WHEN I checked in I told them ehat was going to be prescribed and that since it's a lot I know it will NOT BE 5 MINUTES . Since I had to be somewhere else I told them to cancel my prescriptions AND NOT TOUCH THOSE NOT EVEN WORKED ON. This would prevent any problems with the transfer to another pharmacy. One girl said ok and I left . Later I call the pharmacy it was suppose to be at and was told they don't have any. This morning I call the new pharmacy still nothing. I called my doctor he said the transfer was done . I called THE FALSE ADVERTISING PHARMACY OF FIVE MINUTE PHARMACY and Speak to the pharmacist and he wasn't working I explained what happened and he said thebit should have been taken care of and checked with the staff. I don't recommend this pharmacy I wanted to transfer my clients medication to another pharmacy because I would refill my medication 1 day and never got it delivered I had to call to see what happen the pharmacy tells me my driver called your home and no one answered so they couldn't deliver the medicine, so I said so why did your driver leave the medicine one time when I wasn't home, no answer back. Called to transfer my medicine on a Thursday never happened gave me the run around, called again on the following Monday they tell me we filled your medicine we can deliver it tomorrow I said no I want it transferred to another pharmacy. Prescriptions were ordered yesterday by mom's doctor but driver called to say that one leaked and the order would be delivered on 7/8/2016. I received it after lunch. I opened package after the driver left. There were no droppers. One dosage is 10 ml and another requires .25 ml. I cannot give my mom her meds. I'm still waiting for droppers. Wrong name pharmacy. Called twice about droppers. Called doctor's nurse to complain. Actually no star. read more
