TLDR version: The job ended up requiring 2x the amount of…read moremoney that I was quoted at and took 4x as long - Then they stopped returning my calls and emails without finishing the job! Detailed version: I had a conversation with them to come out and completely fix my sprinkler system as summer started in May. I have a large yard and about 50 sprinklers. I knew the system in my front yard needed particular help. The only time I could schedule was while I was at work. The worker ended up replacing some sprinkler heads, finding a line that had grown into a tree and stopped there. He told my wife we'd need to remove the tree to fix that line; the backyard sprinklers are all fine but there needs to be more work done to the front yard sprinklers. He charged me the quoted amount and left. I had to call to complain, as my system was not fixed. It seemed like he told me what I already knew and left! I got rescheduled for a second visit one month later. The same guy came out again and I told him we don't want to take the tree out and that he should be able to divert the line around the tree. That took most of his visit. He charged me more, but gave me a discount of 3 hours of labor. We rescheduled a third time for another month out so he could fix the rest of the lines because he had another job that he had to get to. His third time out he fixed most of the lines in the front yard but had to rewire a some of the lines that were not syncing to my irrigation system. The rewiring changed the input on the timer and some are still currently out of sync. When he was done, the worker said there were also still some small things that he had to fix in order to complete the job. We had to reschedule a fourth time - another month out - as he had to leave to get to another job. The worker told me that he would charge me during the next visit. His fourth time out was meant to be the last time he needed to come. I made it clear that I wanted to check every line with him before he left. He fixed the remaining lines that needed work in the front yard, then we checked each line on my irrigation system as I requested. As it turned out, several lines in my backyard were showing an error code and not working, despite him promising me that every line was working. He told me that he would have to schedule another visit as he had to get to another job. He charged me a discounted rate and then left. I tried to reach out to the company through email and texted the worker's personal phone number that he gave me - to no avail. I didn't receive a response to my emails or texts. I wanted this job to be done at the quoted amount at the beginning of summer... but instead I had to (and still do) manually water the areas that are not working. This takes away time from me being with my wife, my 7 month old baby (currently - 3 month old in May), and my four year old. It ended up costing double the initial quote, quadruple the amount of time, and the job is not finished. I would NEVER call this company again.

Nobody ever called me, I did call them at 9:35 and they told me that they were on the way to go ahead and drive over there to meet at the job site. I arrived at 10 AM and nobody was there. When I called back, they said that they were leaving and that they were waiting for an employee coming from because they only have one other one is broken down. Why did they lie to me and tell me that they were already on the way. I will never use them for any of the 60 units that I manage. I do not people who lie or are not punctual or communicate. There wasn't a six hour window that I had to wait around for. We scheduled for 10am, and he was there at 10am sharp. 3) Stevie completed the job the same day in a time far faster than anticipated. 4) Stevie was professional, polite, great to talk to, and a true tradesman. I was surprised how much easier interacting with Just Your Plummer was compared to Bill Howe Plumbing. Not that dealing with Bill Howe is complicated, but Just You Plummer streamlined the process, and they did it at less than half the cost. I originally scheduled with Bill Howe which would take two separate appointments. The first was to quote the parts needed, and the second to schedule and perform the work. Bill Howe quoted me at $625 to replace five shut off valves where Just Your Plummer completed the job in half the appointments, and at less than half the cost. I saved a day and over $300. I couldn't be happier.

He understood that money wasn't my primary concern as I wanted quality and a clean job. I never argued with his price but I did repeatedly stress how I wanted a nice job. Daniel said "ok". It appeared to me Daniel was in a rush to complete the job within a weeks time. This was a $48,000 job. Since the weather was warming up I let Daniel know we can postpone the pour or can we do it in two sections (pouring in two days or mobilizations). He insisted the warm weather (95 degrees at noon) was not a problem. He asked what type of control joints I wanted, I said the 45 degree ones. I got the typical "no problem" but I will need to pay for two more finishers, $700. I agreed. When it was time for the pour everything was going well until it wasn't. The concrete started to setup and there wasn't enough finishers! Even with the two additional finishers I paid for to help out. Additionally he didn't slope the concrete correctly and water was flowing into my keystone wall. Daniel came back the next day to cut out the incorrectly poured concrete to repour it. Now that the concrete was cut open, the 1/2 steel rebar was on the dirt! It wasn't elevated into the concrete. UGH!!!!!! Words can't express my frustration with the project and job. The sections that came out good look good. The sections that came out bad look horrible. The cost to correct the problem is cost prohibitive for me. Plus I don't want to deal with all the noise and mess breaking 1200sqft of 5" thick concrete Daniel ended up working with me on the price. I ended up paying $41,000 for the job. I would have easily paid the additional $7000 for the job I wanted. I'm not a picky guy, but at least give me a B+ job. Especially for the money. Maybe Daniel is good for smaller projects. This may have been too big for his experience.
