$5 Beach Store gives false advertisement, they had some nice/cool stuff but you're not paying $5 for it.

False advertising. Nothing in here is $5. Do better, your yelp review average is just over one star. Lots of junk items.

Rip off and to scam all items are priced differently even though items are the same nothing is five dollars I would not recommend this place to anyone. read more

Typical Florida tourist crap store. And the sad part is everything over $5. We only went because the kid begged us to go. We won't be going back. read more

5 Dollar Beach Store - Sports Wear Near Me

Cute store... but instead of the employees helping me out as a customer with money to spend on their t-shirts and answering questions, they looked at me and then completely ignored me... I guess they don't like selling merchandise... Very poor customer service... read more

Nothing is 5$. Everything is $20 plus. False advertisement. The service is alright everyone looks mad

It is not a $5 store. It is a surf style. Not impressed We saw 1 small rack of buy one get one $5

Wish I could say this was a pleasant experience but, it wasn't great or terrible. The store has a great layout and I would give 4 to 5 stars for that but I must go below that. I saw this store didn't have a Yelp page or Google photos so, I took the Liberty of taking photos. Employee behind the counter rudely asked me "Is there a reason you're taking pictures ". I reply by saying it's for Yelp page and google and that there were no photos when searching the place. She simply replied with an Oh! Not much in the store was $5 so no idea why it's named $5 beach store. They are affiliated with Surf Style that employee told me. Although this is a cool store with many cool things. Customer service was not top notch. May or may not come back next visit to Destin. read more

The store name is a misrepresentation of what they sell! Nothing was $5, not even the clearance! Was very disappointed! They weren't very friendly either. They wouldn't let my 6 yr old use the restroom even though we were buying stuff. She was about to pee herself! read more

She was staring at us since we walked in. And I picked up a toy and put it back apparently it had fallen off the shelf and I didn't here. She warned me this was a playground and I said ok. But she saw the toy proceeded to pick it up and then when I went back to that aisle she started staring at me so I went to a different aisle and she's still staring at me. I get a volleyball bounce it once then twice then 3 times she walks over to me and says "first bounce j hard 2nd bounce got mad and 3rd bounce got rlly upset and said this isn't my home which I knew that but I was thinking about buying it. So if you don't wanna get stared down I don't recommend coming here and it's called the 5 dollar beach store everything I saw was 10$ plus read more

horrible!!!! super expensive!!!! like ridiculously expensive!!! nothing was $5 except a few clearance items!!!! sandals on clearance for $24.99!!!!! even the clearance items were over priced!!!! bottom line: false advertising!!!!! 5 Dollar Beach Store - Sports Wear Near Me

5 dollar beach store my ass everything was way more than 5 dollars false advertisement don't go

Terrible. We tried to return two unused boogie boards still sealed in the original packaging because another family member bought two that were opened and used. No return only credit. I don't need any more garbage with Destin on it!!!!!! Never will shop any of your stores again!!!!!! We usually make the annual trek into your stores to buy stuff. Done! read more

Not sure why they call it $5 since everything was more than that. Found blood on a shirt there and when I told the salesperson they said they just get crazy shipments in and put it back on the rack. Gross. Other clothes were filthy. The rest was just overpriced touristy stuff with a lying sign to get you through the door. Not better prices than any other shop. Avoid this one. read more

Store was closed during advertised open hours, and when we came back, the prices were not as advertised. Would give negative stars if possible. read more

I wish I could give this store a zero. Please read reviews before going there. I brought my daughter and her friend to Florida for spring break. My daughter wanted some items to take back home, so we stopped there from leaving Crab Island. The owner walked over to me as I was browsing and shopping and asked if I was done yet. I am the only black person along with my daughter and her friend in there. It was other shoppers, but not of my race. it is so disrespectful and rude for him to ask if I was done yet. I politely handed my items to the worker in the store and walked out. Not to mention, the owner is black himself. There was nothing in that store that I couldn't pay for. Please avoid stores like this. I wish I had read the reviews before going there, but it was near the broadwalk and crab island. read more

Would not recommend. Staff is rude when asking where's the $5 stuff. Although the store is called $5 beach store, they have NOTHINGGGG that is $5. 100% false advertising. They have stickers that say $5 off price shown & prices on the tag were $11.99 but after going to the counter they say it's already applied... worst tourist store ever. ZERO STARS read more

Very expensive, despite the name of the store. Went in with my family and to my surprise, nothing is 5 dollars. Most of the items are 8-10 or more. With lots of things such as clothing, coolers, cups, etc, being $20+. Very disappointed. Spent over $100 in ten mins just for a few cheap tots and a handful or bracket and necklace souvenirs. They should change the name. Very misleading for sure. read more

false advertisement, I went to that store thinking it would be good and cheap, nope, they want 10 dollars for a tiny little magnet, 15 dollars for a tiny little cup that is rubber, and 10 dollars for a pair of flip flops that you can get for 3 dollars at Walmart. Absolutely ridiculous. read more

The only thing that's $5 are the bracelets false advertisement cute items same as all the others. (Nothings $5) they do have very nice things and souvenirs the store is well organized and clean. read more

complete lie and waste of time. went out of our way for a $5 store where we assumed it would be junk. instead it's actually surf side I didn't see anything near $5 in the store. had a couple items I would have bought but didn't want to give them any money. read more
